Daniel David Bortz Ill, of Midwest City, age 54 years, 9 months, and 22 days, was born January 15, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Daniel David Bortz Jr. and Dorothy Jean (Ward) Bortz . He passed away Monday, November 6, 2000. Mr. Bortz was a US Air Force veteran, and retired from Tinker AFB in 1995.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Martha Sue Bortz ; his son, Daniel David Bortz IV and wife Tandra Dawn; and his brothers, Donald G. Bortz and wife, Linda, and Nicklas Bortz .

He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Daniel David Bortz V, Echo Candance Bortz , and Arredondo Lee Bortz ; 2 brothers-in-law; 3 nieces; 4 nephews; his mother-in-law, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2000 at the Paylor Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Kolb Cemetery.
