Blanche Anne (Heath) Price came into this world on November 10, 1923 in Tribbey, Okla. to Joseph B. and Mellie (Ward) Heath. Blanche left her earthly pain behind and was welcomed to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 22, 2009.

Blanche married Leo Price on December 15, 1945 and lived in the Choctaw area for more than 65 years. Blanche dedicated her life to nursing for more than 25 years at the Shockey and Shannon Clinic in Harrah, Okla. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church in Choctaw.

Blanche is survived by her loving care givers, nephews Tom Whittet and wife Nellie of Macomb, Okla. and David Whittet and wife Ellen of Choctaw; daughter, Carolyn Pratt of El Reno, Okla.; grandchildren: Tammie Holbrook, El Reno, Wana Ellison-Newman, Hinton, Okla. Rod Ellison, El Reno; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom loved their Aunt Blanche.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo, her parents, four brothers, one sister, one step-daughter and one step-grandson. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday April 25, 2009 at Midway Baptist Church, 6406 N. Choctaw Road with interment to follow at Jones IOOF Cemetery, Jones, Okla.
