Wann Town Clerk is Carol Deaton. She is at the town hall on Thursdays. Wann does not have any records available for research, except for some cemetery records. They are trying to reconstruct the records for the cemetery at this time.

The town of Wann was named after Robert F. Wann, who was a prominent local resident. The name of the community was originally Coon and a livery barn and dug well served the stage line that ran from Bartlesville to Coffeyville, Kansas.
