Mrs. Belle Sauter Passed Away Tuesday Morn
    Mrs. Belle Sauter passed away Tuesday morning in an Elk City hospital after a long illness.  A bad fall suffered about a month ago added complications to her condition.  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. E. J. Burnett, and three sons, Willard and Leslie of Leedey, and Lee of Taloga.

OBITUARY
    Belle Thressa Arney was born March 15th, 1867 in Marshall County, Iowa.  She passed away at Elk City, Oklahoma, May 26th, 1942.
    She was married to George F. Sauter in Audubon, Iowa, April 15th, 1892.  To this union was born seven children, three dying in infancy.  Surviving her are:  Lester and Willard Sauter of Leedey, Lee Sauter of Taloga, and Mrs. E. J. Burnett of Leedey.  Three granchildren, four sisters and two brothers.
    Her husband preceded her in death June 25th, 1936.
    She united with the Church of Christ at the age of 18 and lived a consecrated Christian life.

Mrs. Wm. Sauter Passed Away in Missouri
    J. H. Arney received word on Tuesday morning of the death of his aunt, Mrs. William Sauter.  she passed away at Neosho, Mo.
    E. W. Arney and Mrs. W. F. Barten were at her bedside when she passed away.
    Funeral services will be conducted here at a date to be set later.
    Mr. and Mrs. Sauter are former residents of the community and have a number of other relatives here.

OBITUARY, Stella Sophia Sauter
    Stella Sophia Sauter was born November 1, 1874 in Audubon County, Iowa, the daughter of E. J. and Lucinda Arney, both of whom preceded her in death.
    She united with the Church of Christ at Liberty, Iowa in young womanhood and remained a devoted Christian all her life.
     She was united in marriage with William Sauter in 1897 and to this marriage was born:  Lewis, of Neosho, Mo., Caira of Clarks, Nebraska, and Lyle who is overseas in the service of his country.
    In 1898 she moved with her husband to Dewey county, Oklahoma, where they homesteaded one mile east of the present town of Leedey.  They moved back to Iowa in 1913 where they lived until 1935, at which time they moved to Missouri and lived there until her death on August 29, 1944, at the age of 69 years 9 months and 15 days.
    Besides her husband and three sons, she leaves her two daughter-in-laws, Mildred, wife of Lewis and their children Billie, Joan and Wayne, and Mattie, wife of Caira and their children Clara Belle, Mardella and Carolyn.
    Besides the immediate family mentioned, she leaves surviving her, two brothers and three sisters:  E. c. Arney, Exetrer, Mo., E. W. Arney, Arapaho, Okla., Laura McMurphy of Audubon, Iowa, Rebecca Barten of Leedey, Oklahoma, and Mattie Lee of Exetrer, Mo.
    One sister and two brothers preceded her in death:  Belle Sautr, Alfred Arney and Caira Weston.
    She leaves also a large number of nieces and nephews and a great host of friends.
    She was a kind and loving wife and a very devoted mother and was dearly loved by all who knew her.
    "It is hard to give her up, but 'twas worth it to have her."
