Funeral Pends For Prominent Welch Merchant
 

    WELCH, Dec. 11—Funeral arrangements are pending for James E. Wheatley, 62, prominent Welch merchant who died Friday in the home of his sister, Mrs. Gordon Parsley, Tulsa, after a short illness.
    Arrangements will be announced by Luginbuel Brothers Funeral home, Vinita.
Wheatley and his brother, Everett, had operated a grocery store here for about 30 years.
    He was born in 1893 in Missouri and had lived in Welch for more than a quarter of a century. He was a member of the Christian church and of the Masonic lodge. He was a veteran of World war I.
    Survivors include his wife, Beulah; one son, James E. Wheatley jr., of the home; his mother Mrs. Ada M. Wheatley, Tulsa; two brothers, Everett M., Welch; and Richard L., Vinita; and three sisters, Mrs. D.L. Ross, Tulsa; Mrs. Hugh Miller, Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Gordon Parsley, Tulsa.
