William Shanahan
William Shanahan died on
Tuesday the 10th at the residence of Patrick Shanahan four miles
west of Vinita. William was 18 years old the 17th of July 1895. He
laid aside the duties and obligations of life in the morning hour.
His life was a lesson for while here he lived a life of perfect
obedience to constituted authority and was at all times respectful
to parents and teachers. He led an exemplary and worthy life for one
so young. He was a former student of Worcester Academy.
Mick Sanders was shot and killed by an unknown man in Illinois district Monday.
