TERRY - Linda June, 64, passed away Thursday,
November 8. 2007 at 5:21 a.m., in St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, OK
from a long illness. She was born August 27, 1943 in Vinita, OK to Clyde
Armstrong and Mildred Reed Armstrong. She was married to Paul Terry for
41 years. Linda is survived by: her daughter, Kendra Terry, age 30 of
Tulsa, OK; her brother, Ronnie Armstrong of Ft. Worth, TX, and numerous
nieces and nephews. Linda's primary occupation was a homemaker and
caring for her daughter, Kendra, during her growing years. Later in
1ife, she owned and managed a Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio in Oklahoma
City, OK until illness forced her to early retirement on December 13,
2002. Linda was preceded in death by both parents. She was an active
member in many barrel racing associations, Oklahoma Barrel Racing
Association, Heart of Oklahoma Barrel Racing Association, and American
Quarter Horse Association. Linda played an important role in assisting
her daughter, Kendra, with her competitive barrel racing events. Linda
had a strong and special affection for animals. She was always busy
caring for her horses, dogs, and cats. In lieu of flowers, friends may
contribute to their local Humane Society. Memorial service will be 3
p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Moore's
