George Edgar Hardy
George was born 3 September 1876 in Monticello,
Jasper County, Georgia. George married Annie Mary KETCHUM.
Annie was born 1875 in Missouri. According to the federal
census, George and Annie came to Comanche County by 1910 and
settled in the Lincoln township and were living in the Zella township in
1920, in Lawton in 1930.
George died 15 August 1943 in Lawton,
Oklahoma. and Annie died 1936 in Oklahoma.
They had the following children:
1. Gladys was born about 1899.
2. Birdie was born about 1900.
3. Corbett M. was born 27 August 1902 and died 25 June 1994. He lived at Faxon.
3. James Walker was born 6 February 1904 in Oklahoma.
James married Vera P. KILLIAN. Vera
was born 30 January 1909 in Oklahoma. James
died 23 July1992 and Vera died 13 April 1998.
5. Emma born about 1906.
6. Champ C. was born 22 April 1908 and died 24 December 1916.
7. Georgia M. was born about 1911.
8. Carrie M. was born about 1913.
9. Jessie C. was born about 1916.
10. Clara was born about 1920.
George and Annie, with sons, Champ and James and his wife, Vera, are buried in the Letitia Cemetery. Corbett M. is buried at Sunset Memorial
