Submitted by: Shelley Lynch ********************************************************* Bill M. Brents Bill M. Brents was born on October 12, 1929 in Hinton, Oklahoma to L.W. & Marie Brents. He passed from this life on April 4, 2006 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 5 months & 23 days. Bill had lived most of his life in the Midwest City community before moving to Bixby recently to be closer to some of his family. He was proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Air Force for 4 years. He retired in 1984 after working 33 years as an electrician for the Federal Aviation Administration. When he was not working, he loved to watch all kinds of sports and although he did not tell very many people about his skills, he was a very accomplished woodworker. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Betty Brents whom he married on January 11, 1974 in Oklahoma City as well as by his children; Rex, Linda, Dana, Shelley and Kim, Charm & Melody, 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, his siblings and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Kelly Brents, a brother; Alve Brents and a granddaughter; Melissa. Music was provided by Cynthia Foster.
