Caddo County Newspaper - Anadarko Tribune 1916 The Anadarko Tribune February 3, 1916 DEATH OF ESSEX YEISER Essex Yeiser (colored) died, the evening of January 27, at the home of friends in the large wooden building a short distance across the railroad track to the north of the station. Undertaker Gish had charge of the remains and interment was made in the Anadarko Cemetery Wednesday afternoon of this week. The deceased was a veteran of the Union Army, and was about 70 years of age. The government which he helped to save for all to adore, now was paying him a pension of $30 per month. His home was three miles east of Gracemont, and it seems that he had come to this city for medical treatment. He had no relatives in this county. We understand that before coming here, he lived in Kentucky, where one of more of his children live.
