He is buried in Memory Lane cemetery at Anadarko. ---------------------------------------------- YOUNG, LEONARD, 21, was inducted into the service Oct. 2, 1943 and received his basic training at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station in Chicago, Ill. He has been attending the armed guard school at Gulfport, Miss. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G.B. Young. He attended school at Bridgeport, Ok. and high school at Geary, Ok. ---------------------------------------------- YOUNG, SGT. WAYNE W., 19, entered the service in November of 1941. He is with the air corps and now is in foreign service. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Young of Anadarko, where he attended school. ---------------------------------------------- YUMMIT, CPL. ELMER, 20, entered the service Feb. 8, 1943 at Fort Sill in Lawton, Ok. He is in the infantry and was recently presented the Expert Infantryman's badge by Maj. Gen Harris Melaskey of Camp Livingston, La., where he is stationed with the 36th (Black Hawk) division. This is one of the highest honors given to members of the army ground forces. He is the son of Mrs. Mamie Yummit of Gracemont.
