HOBART is the son of former Gracemont resident W.T. Jamar of Houston, Texas. He attended schools at Gracemont. He entered the service April 3, 1942 and is now stationed at Foster Field in Victoria, Texas. He is married and his wife now makes her home in Houston. He is the brother of Gladys Glidewell. JAQUES, MANUEL M. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M.J. Jaques of Anadarko. He volunteered in January of 1941 and was stationed at Fort Sill and Camp Barkeley before being stationed in the Canal Zone. He attended Anadarko Schools and was employed as a student teacher at the NYA boys school here. JARNIGAN, PVT. JAY is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. J.S. Jarnigan of Anadarko. He enlisted in the service July 6 of this year and is with the quartermaster's corps now stationed at the Oklahoma City Air Depot. He attended schools in Anadarko and the Anadarko Business College. Before enlistment he was employed in the county treasurer's office. JENNINGS, FOY H., 20, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Jennings of Gracemont. He has been a resident of Caddo county for 17 years and graduated from Gracemont High School with the class of 1942. He volunteered for service in the U.S. Army in October of 1942 and is now stationed at the Enid Flying School. He has a brother in the service overseas. JENNINGS, CPL. LONNIE, known in this area as colonel because of his auctioneering ability, is now stationed at Esier Field, La. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Jennings of Gracemont. He volunteered December 21, 1942 into the United States Air Corps at Fort Sill in Lawton. JENNINGS, S1c RALPH E., 26, PVT. RAYMOND JENNINGS, 19, and PFC. FRED A. ROBRECHT, 40. Ralph E. and Raymond Jennings are the sons of Mrs. Edna Jennings. Ralph attended school in Anadarko where he was active on the football team. He is now with the navy as a gunner, first class. He is married and his wife makes her home in Los Angeles, Calif. Raymond also attended school here and in California. He is now somewhere in the North African theatre. He enlisted in the armed services June 5, 1940 and was with the 45th Division for 18 months. Fred Robrecht is an uncle of the Jennings' and entered the services August 20, 1942. He has been stationed at Camp Livingston, La., in the 558th general hospital. He attended school in Anadarko. JOHNSON, INMAN HENRY is the son of Mrs. Geneva Johnson of Anadarko. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Anadarko and volunteered into the navy in August of 1942. He is classed as a seaman first class guard at Mare Island, Calif., where he has been stationed. JOHNSON, PVT. JAMES E. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe E. Johnson of Bridgeport. He is now stationed with the 45th Division. He attended Bridgeport schools. JOHNSON, CPL ORELL is the son of Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Johnson of Carnegie. He entered the service January 22, 1942 and is now stationed at Camp Stewart, Ga. JOHNSON, ROBERT ALBERT is the son of L.V. Johnson of Cogar. He entered the navy on September 1, 1942 and has been stationed with the naval reserve at Norman. He attended school at Fair Valley and the Binger High School. Before entering the service he was a member of the CCC at Clinton for a year. JOHNSON, S2-c STANLEY L., USN, 21, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas D. Johnson of Lookeba. He enlisted in the navy in November of 1943 and took his basic training at San Diego, Calif. He also attended a diesel engineering school at San Diego. He is a graduate of Lookeba High School and attended school at Southwest Tech at Weatherford. JONES, CPL. JESSE O. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Jones of Fort Cobb. He attended school in Washita and was graduated from the Washita High School. He attended Southwestern Tech. in Weatherford one year and then was employed at the Butterkrust Bakery in Oklahoma City until the time of his entry into the army March 2, 1942. He had been stationed at Hope Field, N.C. with a bombing squadron. He is married and his wife is with him. JONES, LEAL enlisted in the maritime service November 16, 1942 and was called to active duty April 23, 1943. He received his training at Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, N.Y. August 23, 1943 he sailed from Norfolk, Va. and was stationed in Egypt where he was hospitalized with a foot ailment for some time. He returned to the states in December of 1943 and spent the holidays with his wife in Oakland, Calif. He has been stationed in the Hawaiian Islands. He is a graduate of Washita High School. He was employed by the Moore Drydock company in Oakland, Calif before going into the service. His wife is the former Miss Martha Grimes. JONES, SGT. STEVE, 28, and PVT. ELBY JONES, 26, are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jones of Anadarko. Steve entered the army in 1942 and has been stationed in the Hawaiian Islands. Elby entered the army January 26, 1941 and is with the 45th Division. JONES, TROY CECIL, 22, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Jones of Fort Cobb. He attended Fort Cobb High School. Before entering the navy he was associated with the Anderson-Prichard Oil Company. He entered the service April 1, 1942 and is now stationed in the east as a petty officer. His wife is living in Fort Cobb. JONES, PFC. WALTER A., 38, enlisted in the army March 26, 1942 and was stationed at Camp Barkeley, Texas with the 45th Division. He has been in three major combats since D-day, June 6, 1944 in France and Germany, and has been awarded the combat infantryman's badge. He was born at Verden and attended school there and at Chickasha. At the time of entering the army he lived near Medicine Park. His wife lives in Anadarko. JONES, S2-c WOODIE LEE, USN, is the 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Jones of Anadarko. He entered the U.S. Navy June 9 1943 and is with the amphibious force landing craft stationed at San Diego, Calif. JORDAN, S1-c JESSE W., 20, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Jordan of 124 East Oklahoma, volunteering for service in the coast guard July 27, 1942 at Fort Worth, Texas. He attended high school at Canton, Texas and has been stationed in Hollywood, Fla.
