STEWART, Carl Duncan - Pvt USA, husband of Mrs. Virginia Stewart 
of Anadarko, OK; born July 17, 1912 at Ennis, TX; moved to 
Oklahoma in 1918 and graduated from Minco HS in 1931; entered the 
service at Ft. Sill, Mar 21, 1944; trained at Camp Robinson, AR; 
served in the ETO with the 1st Army, 26th inf. Co. G, 
participating in the battles of Aachen, Ardennes, Northern France 
and Central Germany; Killed Apr 17, 1945 in Germany and is buried 
in an American cemetery near Ittenbach, Germany. Decorations; 
Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, EAME Medal 
w/3 Battle Stars
