John Butler's parents were Maude T. Bailey Butler and Elmer Butler 
of the Sickles area.
John is survived by his wife Linda Kay Johnson Butler 
of Fort Cobb and their two children John Travis and Robert Butler.
He was killed during Maneuvers at Fort Hood in Texas.
