Caddo Co. Oklahoma - Civil War ================================================= The Hinton Record October 14, 1920 B.L. MEANS DEAD Mrs. George Hipsley received word Tuesday that her father, B.L. Means, had died that morning at Charleston, W.Va., while visiting at the home of a sister. He left here about a month ago for Indianapolis to attend the G.A.R. reunion, and had gone on to Charleston to visit his sister before returning to his home here. He contracted a cold and it soon turned into pneumona. The body is expected to reach here Friday, which would have been Mr. Means' eighthieth birthday, had he lived until that day.
