B.L. MEANS DEAD

Mrs. George Hipsley received word Tuesday that her father, 
B.L. Means, had died that morning at Charleston, W.Va., 
while visiting at the home of a sister. He left here about 
a month ago for Indianapolis to attend the G.A.R. reunion, 
and had gone on to Charleston to visit his sister before 
returning to his home here. He contracted a cold and it 
soon turned into pneumona.

The body is expected to reach here Friday, which would have 
been Mr. Means' eighthieth birthday, had he lived until 
that day.
