I hereby make application for such share as me be due me of the fund appropriated by the Act of Congress approved June 30, 1906, in accordance with the decrees of the Court of Claims of May 18, 1905, and May 28, 1906, in favor of the Eastern Cherokees. The evidence of identity is herewith subjoined.

In reply to your letter in regard of my claim of emigrant Cherokees. I am enrolled as Cherokee Indian. My roll number from the Dawes Commission, No. 18729.

My father, Jug Davis was born in 1854 and my mother name was Nancy Davis, she was Starr family before she married and well satisfied she was enrolled in 1851 and was raised in Flint District, Cherokee Nation.

On my father side only.

Further information I can give my mother's relation her brother's name was Thomas Starr.
