I hereby make application for such share as me be due me of the fund appropriated by the Act of Congress approved June 30, 1906, in accordance with the decrees of the Court of Claims of May 18, 1905, and May 28, 1906, in favor of the Eastern Cherokees. The evidence of identity is herewith subjoined.

My grandfather, John Seabolt and William Campbell, lived in the Cherokee Nation, East, in 1835.

REMARKS

(Under this head the applicant may give additional information that he believes will assist in proving his claim).

My grandmother, Eliza Seabolt, had the following brothers and sisters who died without descent, Pleasant, Richard, Joseph and John Rogers. Catherine Elders, nee Rogers. Aunt Juliette Taylor's first husband was Jarrette Bell.

AFFIDAVIT

(The following affidavit must be sworn to by two or more witnesses who are well acquainted with the applicant.)

Personally appeared before me W. C. Chamberlain and Oliver Bigby, who being duly sworn, on oath depose and say that they are well acquainted with Eliza Jane Coney , who makes the foregoing application and statements, and have known her for 30 years and 24 years, respectively, and know her to be the identical person she represents herself to be, and that the statements made by her are true, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and they have no interest whatever in her claim.

"I am 42 years of age; was born in the Indian Territory; I claim Cherokee blood through my mother. I have some Chickasaw blood. I have always lived in the Cherokee Nation and have drawn Cherokee money. I have never gotten any Chickasaw money. I am a Cherokee Allottee. I have always affiliated with the Cherokees. My mother drew some Indian money. My mother is 65 years old now and lives about four miles from here. My mother filed an application as a Starr. She was living in 1852 and drew some money then. She is an immigrant."
