Note from: Jo Ann Scroggins I've been working on my Scroggins branches on my family tree. My 1st cousin, 3X removed was Earl Leonard Scroggins Sr. I found his memorial on Find A Grave (memorial #116255844) and there is a note that Earl died while at work at the Scroggins Funeral Home in 1955. His place of death is listed as Cheyenne, Roger Mills, OK. 1925 Kansas census lists Earl's occupation as an undertaker. In the 1930 Census, he is living in Sayre, OK. Under occupation, it lists Undertaker, Killough Mortuary, and then what looks like "Hullussa" but is probably Hullum (see obit below). 1940 census, he is still in Sayre but is the funeral director for President Funeral Home. His wife is listed as "lady attendant" at the same funeral home. Earl had 2 sons, Earl Jr and Jack. He also had a daughter Patricia. His obituary: Earl L.
