Man Found Ill in Street Dies, Rites Pending

John A. Wright a 12 Year Resident of City.

Services were pending Friday night at the Jack Jones funeral: home for John A. Wright. 62 years old, who died Friday morning of high blood pressure in Oklahoma City General hospital. He lived at 12 West Washington avenue.

Wright Suffered a stroke Wednesday. He lay in the street in the 2100 block South Pennsylvania avenue nine hours until police investigated a report a drunk man was lying there. Discovering his plight, the police sent him to the hospital, where he remained unconscious until his death.

Survivors Include his wife, Mrs. John A. Wright. Dearborn. Mich.: five sons. Zella. Aliceville, Ala.: Jack, Anderson. Sylvester and Lester. Detroit. Mich. and two daughters. Eloise and Louise, Detroit.
