Sam Irion

Services for Sam Irion, 78 years old, who died at his home on a farm near Mustang, Canadian county, Wednesday Morning of Injuries received when he fell on ice near his home more than a month ago, will be at 10 am Thursday at Capitol Hill funeral home. Burial will be In Granite, Greer county.

Irion who lived near Mustang for the last 30 years was born in Germany. He and his wife, Pauline came to the United States, soon after their marriage in 1886 and were naturalized. He farmed in South Dakota 25 years before corning to Oklahoma.

In addition to his wife, survivors include four sons. Sam Jr., 2629 West Park place, Fred, Northwest Fourteenth and May Avenue; Theodore, Mustang, and Emmanuel, Brinkman, Greer county, and three daughters, Mrs. Eva Thomism:. 2611 South Harvey avenue; Mrs. Frank Christian, Roosevelt,  Kiowa county  and Mrs. Arthur Grauman, Granite.
