Thelma was born in Hale Center, Texas on March 22, 1940, as an only child to Jack and Elizabeth McFarland. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, RB Crisp for 50 years. Living in Spencer, Oklahoma, together they raised four children. Thelma was a stay-at-home mom who spent countless fun filled hours getting the children from one activity to another. Her family was her entire world. Thelma had a loving, giving nature and a sweet spirit who was quickly adored by those who were lucky enough to have crossed her path.

Thelma became Nana when her family grew to include grandchildren and great grandchildren! Her sense of family was fierce and ran deep. Her love for each of them ran even deeper.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband RB Crisp, her parents Jack and Elizabeth McFarland, her son Stacy Crisp and son in law Glenn Hayes.
