Mary C. Conner, 95, of Boulder, Colo., passed away Oct. 15, 2009, at Manor Care. She was born Oct. 20, 1913, to Frank and Lulu (Jewett) Casey in Sapulpa, Okla. A strong Christian lady, Mary was a member of First Baptist Church in Boulder. She hoped to be remembered as a kind and loving mother and that her friends would have fond memories of their friendship and times together. Mary started her career as an aid at Boulder Community Hospital in the late 1950s, and she was very proud of achieving the status of Licensed Practical Nurse. On July 27, 1934, she married Dean Wendell Conner in McPherson. He preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1994.

Mary is survived by three children; Gary Conner (Emmalie) of Ft. Collins, William “Bill” Conner (Sherry) of Boulder, and Treva Creed (Lonnie) of Ft. Collins. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Crist Mortuary. Friends who wish may give to the First Baptist Church, 1237 Pine Street, Boulder, CO, 80302. Interment Mountain View Cemetery in Boulder.
