Bethel Union School - 51st and Lewis, Tulsa Oklahoma

Built 1922 - razed to make way for the Skelly By-Pass (60's ?) In mid to late 40's name was changed to Paul Revere School. The Intersection of 51st and Lewis was known as the hub of the Bethel Community. The school was on the Northeast corner, the Bethel Baptist Church on the Southeast corner. On the Northwest corner was the Standridge grocery and "filling station" and a garage just to the north (the Overturf family lived in the rear). On the Southwest corner was a drug store and a feed store. (Avalon Williams and Joan Thurman - May 1940)
