Alfred Newton Ward b. 9-17-1894
Alfred lived to be almost 100.
He was the third of
seven generations in Cleveland Co.
He lived S. E. of Noble with parents,
M. C. and Sam Ward.
He married Leona Liner and their children
were Vernon, Edwin, Lois and Billy.
After her death, he married Annie Osborn.
They had a son, Don.
His greatest ambition was to be a train engineer.
He carried a railroad pocket watch he enjoyed
showing to everyone. If only more men were
as good as he!
Jessie Ward Mock b. 7-2-1891
sister to Alfred Newton Ward
She was born at Tishomingo,Ok. 7-30-1891.
She lived 95 years.
She married Roy Lee Mock 1-2-1908
and they had three children, Dessie, Mae and Irene.
They lived S. E. of Noble near the Ward family.
Her character has been a model for the next generations.
She was faithful in her Southern Baptist Church in Norman.
Just before her death, she dreamed of a
place with beautiful flowers.
She said if heaven was like that, she would be very glad
to be there.
