Sisk family, first of seven Cleveland County generations. Photo about 1907.

Standing are daughter Dora and her mother, Mary Cornelia. She married Samual T. Ward.
Sitting are parents, Norma America Edmondson Sisk and Newton Jasper Sisk.
Mrs. Sisk knitted for soldiers through four wars. She was born in Mississippi and lived on a plantation.
Mr. Sisk was a Confederate soldier and wounded at the battle of Shiloh. He was born in Kentucky and the descendant of Josiah Noah Boone, first cousin of Daniel. They farmed at Slaughterville Road and 120th, Southeast of Noble, Ok.
