Frederick Edward and Ida Mae Mock Burns on their wedding day
Jan. 2, 1908, Purcell, Oklahoma.

They farmed on Slaughterville Rd., 1/2 mile E. of 120th, N. side of the road, S. E. of Noble. They raised seven children, all of whom were of good character and ambitious. Son Clifford E. Burns retired after many years as Personnel Director, DHS, Sequoyah Bldg., Okla. City. He was respected and liked by his colleagues.
