Funeral services for a former Wagoner resident, John F. Cary, 44, who died September 24, 1978, in Riverton, Wyoming were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hersman Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Cobb officiating. Burial was in Fisher Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Gene Dorr, Morris Overall, Mitch Turnham, George Meeks, Pete Asher and Jim Shelton. Born September 19, 1934 in Mazie, Oklahoma, he was a laborer and served in the U. S. Marines during the Korean conflict. Survivors are five brothers, Aaron, Donald Ray, Millard, all of Wagoner, Winston of Muskogee and Willard of Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Thomas of Wagoner. Obituary provided by Charlotte Stevens Schneiderp.
