Funeral services for Edna R. ALVEY, 84, of Shannon, Ill., were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of God of the Abraham Faith in Oregon, Ill. Burial was in Grand de Tour Cemetery in Oregon, under the direction of Hermann Funeral Home of Stockton, Ill. Mrs. ALVEY was born Jan. 22, 1921, in Casselton, N.D., to Joseph and Mable (Shiley) ERDMEIER. She died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, in Shannon. She married Paul ALVEY Nov. 9, 1941, in Polo, Ill. He preceded her in death April 17, 1997. Survivors include her four sons, Jim, John and wife Beverly, Mike and wife Darlene, David and wife Cheryl; three daughters, Janice and husband Vernon, Sally and husband Geoff; three sisters, Mable Marie, Edith and husband Robert, and Florence; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three daughters, Peggy, Joan and Wendy, three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services for Sadie COLLINS, 73, of Vian, were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Vian Assembly of God Church in Vian with Revs. John Barnes and Reggie Kelley officiating. Burial was in McEver Family Cemetery north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. COLLINS was born April 23, 1932, in Vian, to Bud DYKES and Maggie VANN BUSH. She died Thursday, August 25, 2005, in Vian. Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Glenn COLLINS of the home; two daughters, Beth, and Marilyn and her husband, John; three sons, Mike and his wife, Cindy, Mark and his wife, Donna, and Neal; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorene; one brother, William "Chuch",; one daughter-in-law, Yvonne; and one son-in-law, Maynord. She was preceded in death by one son, Clayton "Skeeter" McEVER, one daughter, Linda KELLEY, one sister, Anna Mae SELF, four brothers, Simon and Sam BUSH, Levi VANN and Raymond WEBSTER.

Funeral services for Jimmy Lee "Jimbo" CURRY, 37, of Sallisaw, were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Revs. Terry Guthrie and Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. CURRY was born Sept. 25, 1967, in Sallisaw, to Aaron Jimmy CURRY and Hedy Faye (NORRID) CURRY. He died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his mother, Faye CURRY; father and step mother, Aaron J. and Barbara CURRY; six sisters, Bridget, Cindy, Calleen, Lisa, Sherry and Patty; one brother, Donny; paternal grandmother, Ida CURRY; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  

Funeral services for Donald HEARN, 66, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Haven Heights Baptist Church in Fort Smith. Burial was in Mount Olive Cemetery in Midland, Ark. under the direction of McConnell Funeral homes of Greenwood, Ark.  Mr. HEARN died Aug. 27, 2005, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Wanda HEARN of the home; one son, Scott and wife Deloris; one daughter, Sally; one brother, Charles; one sister, Joye; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services for Julia HARDIN JACOBS, 93, of Muldrow, were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow with Rev. Carl Fugett officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. JACOBS was born Dec. 28, 1911, in Muldrow, to Henry Burgess HARDIN and Price (Sterlin) WALKER HARDIN. She died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, in Roland. She married Charles Creager JACOBS Jan. 5, 1935, in Long Beach, Calif. He preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1996. Survivors include one sister, Ruby; one brother, Sterlin Price; and several other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for J.D. O'NEAL, 79, of Vian, were at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian with Rev. Ed Cunningham officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. O'Neal was born June 17, 1926, in Shirley, Ark., to Hayden O'NEAL and Dolly HENSON. He died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, in Vian. Survivors include four daughters, Barbara, Edna Faye, Barbara and Brenda; four sons, Ricky, Thomas, Jackie and James; one brother, James; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Floyd O'NEAL, two sisters, Faye TILLETT and Erdean BRUMLEY and three brothers, Benny and Thomas O'NEAL and Eugene BRUMLEY.  

Funeral services for Louella LOCUST TAYLOR, 54, of Sallisaw, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Blunt Baptist Church in Sallisaw with Revs. Terry Cheater and Jerry Cheater officiating. Burial was in Marble City Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. TAYLOR was born June 9, 1951, in Tahlequah, to Walker LOCUST and Katie (SEABOLT) LOCUST. She died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Johnny Lee TAYLOR May 13, 1991, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death Dec. 4, 1998. Survivors include one son, Billy Wayne; one step-son, Johnny Wayne; one daughter, Kimberly; 11 grandchildren, three sisters, Polly, Mary and Annie; one brother, Jim; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister and two brothers.

Cremation for Lois WEBER, 77, of Gore, was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Gore. Mrs. Weber was born April 14, 1928, in Wheatland, Colo., to Lon MILLER and Wilma MILLER. She died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, in Gore. She married Fount J. WEBER in 1973 in Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors include her husband, Fount of the home; one daughter, Diane; two sons, Dale and Dave.

Graveside services for David Paul YOUNG, 45, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw with Rev. Larry Don Marley officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. YOUNG was born Aug. 6, 1960, in Oakland, Calif., to Frankie Lee YOUNG, Sr. and Velda June (BARNETT) YOUNG. He died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, in Fort Smith. He married Jo Nell HICKEY Sept. 5, 2002, in Lawton. Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters, Jennifer, Ashley, Misty and Sarah; one step-daughter, Ashley; parents, Carl and Velda GIBBONS; three sisters, Virginia Marie, Linda Sue and Laurie June; two brothers, Steven Carl and James; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Dwain Davis officiating under the direction of the family. Mrs. ARMER was born Aug. 5, 1947, in Jackson, Mich., to Ed HOOVER and Betty HOOVER. She died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Roger ARMER Dec. 2, 1983, in Blackgum. Survivors include her husband, Roger of Vian; one daughter, Jami; one son, Russell; three grandchildren; and parents, Ed and Betty HOOVER.

Ed Wolfard officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith with Rev. Mrs. BARNES was born July 24, 1919, in Sofia, N.M., to Elmer Clarence DEPUE and Nellie Pearl (ROBERTSON) DEPUE. She died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, in Clayton, N.M. She married Raymond Leo BARNES Dec. 26, 1945, in Clayton. He preceded her in death Sept. 29, 1992. Survivors include two sons, Claude L. and his wife Anita, and C.R. and his wife Diane; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie and Dollie; and two brothers, Clarence and his wife Carolyn, and Carroll and his wife Laura She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, eight sisters and one brothers.

Burial was in Sehorn Cemetery in Waldron, Ark., under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. Mrs. BLACKWOOD was born April 18, 1923, in Waldron, Ark., to James Albert and Lala (PLUMMER) CRUTCHFIELD. She died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, in Hodgen. She married R.M. BLACKWOOD May 14, 1943, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Barbara Joyce, Teresa and husband Larry, Karen and husband Rusty; one brother, Lee Royce; three sisters, Leah Fern, Doris and Alberta; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Carmel CRUTCHFIELD.

Burial is in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. Eagle was born Dec. 6, 1929, in Carrolton, Mo., to James HAYES and Gladys (BURKHARDT) HAYES. She died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Goodlow EAGLE June 28, 1965, in Joliet, Ill. He preceded her in death Feb. 25, 1995 in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include six daughters, Peggy, Beth, Jennifer, Glenna ALLEN and LouAnna EAGLE both of Muldrow; two step-daughters, Melinda and Shirley; one son, Gregory; one step-son, Tom; four sisters, Alice, Kessie, Donna and DeEtta; two brothers, James and Carl; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Taymond TIETJENS, second husband, Goodlow EAGLE, one son, Stanley Ray TIETJENS, one daughter, Evelyn EAGLE and one brother, LeRoy HAYES.

Brian Zinck officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. IRWIN was born April 17, 1940, in Marcelline, Mo. She died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Richard IRWIN Jan. 29, 1971, in Leawood, Kan.  Survivors include her husband, Richard of the home; two daughters, Phyllis and Terry; one son, Richard; two half-brothers; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Cremation for Barbara Ellen ROWLAND, 79, of Sallisaw, was under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. ROWLAND died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include her husband, Wes ROWLAND of the home; one daughter, Debbie and husband Mike; three sisters, Sharyl and Bill, Belva, and Louann and Herb; two brothers, Bill and Dorothy, and Jim and Jerrie; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. BAKER was born March 20, 1947, in Catskill Mountains, N.Y., to Kenneth PALMER and Barbara (MAYNARD) PALMER. She died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Hugh BAKER July 28, 1992, in Reno, Nev. Survivors include her husband, Hugh of the home; one daughter, Paige; three grandchildren; mother, Barbara PALMER; one sister, Denise; one brother, Terry; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Tracy THOMAS and her father.

Mrs. CORBIT was born Dec. 27, 1934, in Muldrow, to Floyd Franklin FRASIER and Nancy Vina (EDWARDS) FRASIER. She died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, in Sallisaw. She married Billy CORBIT Sept. 17, 1983, in Akins. She died Thursday, September 1, 2005, in Vian. She married Ralph Jesse DANE Dec. 12, 1936, in Russellville. Survivors include her husband, Ralph J. Mr. THORNTON was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Vian, to Frank Alexander THORNTON, Sr. and Lucille (MONTGOMERY) THORNTON. He died Sept. 3, 2005, in Sallisaw. He married Margaret SWANGER Aug. 27, 1970, in Anaheim, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Margaret of the home; one son, Frank Ed; three daughters, Shelly, Laurie and Lisa; one step-son, Steven Marcus; 11 grandchildren; one brother, David; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Catherine.

She died Tuesday, September 6, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Leonard Eugene BELL Jan. 7, 1948, in Billings, Mont. He preceded her in death Nov. 3, 1982. Survivors include one daughter, Dora Marie; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Louise and Dollie Agnes; one brother, Myron Larue; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Stephen Louise DEWITT April 15, 1936, in Connersville. He preceded her in death Aug. 11, 1978. Survivors include one daughter, Viola; two sons, Floyd and Horace; one sister, Jeanette; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one daughter, Sallie Marie DEWITT.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Melissa and Donna, Kelly and Larry, and Kathy and Jim; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Anna, Mike and Laurel, and Marvin and Linda; one sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Charles; one son-in-law, Pat; 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. TYLER was born Jan. 19, 1937, in Sallisaw, to Ernest and Ruth (LANCASTER) TYLER. He died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, in Springdale. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tracy and David; one daughter, Debbie; two brothers, Bill and Jerry; one sister, Sharon; three grandsons; and five granddaughters. He was preceded in death by one son, Terry TYLER and two brothers, E.T. and Paul TYLER.

The family held a private service for Sadie STONEBRAKER, 85, of Fort Smith, Ark., on Tuesday, in Roland under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. Mrs. STONEBRAKER died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, in Fort Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Ethel, Irene and Patsy Ann; three sisters, Virgie , Iva and Ann ; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Maggie Jerrell COX and one sister, Ellen JOHNSON.

Graveside services for Jack Jr. TILLERY, 70, of Sallisaw, are being held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Lee's Chapel Cemetery, south of Muldrow, with Brother in Christ Charles Mahan officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. TILLERY was born Dec. 2, 1934, in Altus, to Jack TILLERY and Naomi (GRADY) TILLERY. He died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Nona Faye QUALLS, Nov. of 1960, in Poteau. Survivors include his wife, Nona of the home; one son, Billy Don; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
