Graveside services for Gladys Mae BROWN, 88, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at Fleetwood Cemetery east of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Dale Phelps officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.She was born on Dec. 31, 1915, in Densmore, Kan., to John HADDON and Lydia WINKLEPLECK HADDON. She died on Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, in Sallisaw. She married Dwight LeRoy BROWN in May of 1937, in Woodward. He preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 2003. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jay; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy D. and Joan and Norman and Kaye; three grandchildren; four sisters and one brother. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Vicki Lee BROWN.

Graveside services for Charley BUCK, 78, of Vian, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, at Redbird Smith Cemetery north of Vian, with David Teehee officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  He was born on May 17, 1926, in Notchietown, to Bud DYKES and Aggie BUSTER. He died on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, in Vian. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Polly Grass BUCK of the home; three daughters, Pearl and her husband Harold, Martha and her husband Thomas M. and Suzanne; one son, Charles Lee BUCK of Vian; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Nancy, Annie, Sadie, Marie and Marie. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis DYKES and Bert JAMES.

Funeral services for Loweta Masterson COTE, 80, of Schenectady, New York, formerly of Bunch, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, at The Daly Funeral Home in Schenectady, NY, with burial in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Naskayuna, NY. Mrs. COTE was born in Bunch. She died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, in Ellis Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Francis COTE; one son, Larry and his wife Nancy; one daughter, Sandy and her husband Thomas; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Gloria  and Helen; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Brittney Leighanne COX, 15, of Poteau, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Bob Lee Kidd Civic Center in Poteau, with the Revs. Keith Williams and Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Burial was in Heavener Memorial Park Cemetery in Heavener, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. She was born on Feb. 8, 1989, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Robert COX and Tammy COX. She died on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, in Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Poteau.  Survivors include her father of Vian; her mother; one brother, Cody; one half-sister, Katelin; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Judy "Nana and Pop" BRANCH; maternal great-grandparents, Fines and Goldie STURGEON; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Linda COX; and other relatives and friends, including her special friends, Tara, Ashley, Samantha, Crystal, Drue and Torey. She was preceded in death by one uncle, Jeff BRANCH; maternal great-grandparents, Henry and Mary BRANCH.

Funeral services for Lucille Marie DAVIS, 84, of Vian, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Vian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Nov. 8, 1919, in Gore, to William H. NATION and Pearl (CARTER) NATION. She died on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Tom C. DAVIS of the home; one daughter, Anna Marie and her husband Jon; one son, Tom and his wife Coleta; two brothers, Oscar and Raymond; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters and one son, Tim Davis.

Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.He was born on Oct. 29, 1916, in Williams, to Abner Franklin HANNA and Frances Emmaline (MOORE) HANNA. He died on Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife Odessa Johnson HANNA of the home; two daughters, Sue and Alberta; four sons, Larry, Jonathan, Vernice Jr., and Mike; 32 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Faye; two step-daughters, Nora and Jimmie; and four step-sons, Zenas, Adrian, Dan and DeShong.  He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and sisters.

Burial is in Dwight Mission Cemetery northwest of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on Dec. 7, 1974, in Buckland, Kan., to John E. LEAF Jr. and Linda J. Brokar LEAF. He died on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, in Sallisaw. He married Bobbie Nachell PULLIAM on Oct. 2, 1999, in Tulsa. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie LEAF of the home; one daughter, Lillian Marie; his parents; three brothers, Jacob E. and Aaron M. and Beau D.; maternal grandmother, Effie L. BROKAR; and one nephew.

Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.  He was born on March 11, 1905, in Dublin, Ark., to William Blevin SMITH and Savanah Ferby SMITH. He died on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, in Sallisaw. He married Bertha Mary Jane WHEELER on July 18, 1930, in Muldrow. She preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 1993.  Survivors include nieces and nephews, Harold and Virginia, Waltena, Gwen, Jacquetta and Sue, Charles, Dwayne, Gary and Nova; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, including.

Funeral services for Bernice Luda WHITE, 73, of Sallisaw, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Carl Williams officiating.Burial of cremains will be in Seabolt Cemetery north of Muldrow at a later date, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.She was born on June 1, 1931, in Dora, to Tom REEVES and Ruth KNIGHT. She died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, in Sallisaw. She married Roy L. WHITE in 1947 in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1971. Survivors include two sons, Lee Roy and Robert Allen; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Carl; one brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Bonita; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Survivors include one daughter, Lacy; two sons, Coy and Troy; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Eugene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey EVANS.

He died on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, in Stigler. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine CARTER of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Dewayne and his wife, Jennifer and Michael John and his wife, Nancy; three grandchildren; four sisters, Alberta, Helen, Viola and Rosetta; seven brothers, Lambert, Eugene, Melvin and Fred, Howard, Darrell and Charlie. MOLTHAN and Vivian Lucille (STROUP) MOLTHAN. He died on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, in Bokoshe. He married Naomi Edna McCULLOGH on March 14, 1959, in Miami. She preceded him in death on Oct. 4, 2001. He married Patricia Ann HERRON on March 10, 1951, in Van Buren, Ark. He died on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. BRANHAM married Lorene OLLIS on May 10, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Shirley Mae RICH on March 27, 1954, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mae BROYLES of the home; four daughters, Deborah, Sheila, Rita and Neta; one son, Alan; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, J.L. Survivors include one daughter, Nadene; three sons, Jess N., Howard O., and Delmar R.; seven grandchildren; 13 grandchildren; and one sister, Lou. She was preceded in death by her husband Neal CRUTCHFIELD on Sept. 22, 2002.

He died on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Neoma WHITTENBURG on Jan. 5, 1948, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Neoma HOUSTON of the home; three daughters, Liz, Dee and her husband Jay, and Lisa; two sons, Gary, and Danny and his wife La Rae; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Misia and Lilye; two brothers, Orland "Mutt" and his wife Barbara and Joe and his wife Jodie. She died on Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, in Sallisaw. Mrs. POINTER married Melvin FAULKNER on Aug. 24, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1955. She married her second husband, James POINTER in 1965. He preceded her in death in 1972. Survivors include one grandson, Fred Bradley.; one great-granddaughter; special niece, Carol; one daughter-in-law, Betty June; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including Dr. Bob, Stacy and Rev.
