Funeral services for Bessie Eagle CASON, 89, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mallory Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. George Byrd officiating. Burial is in Akins Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CASON was born on Sept. 11, 1920, in Scratchout to Henry and Louanna (SILK) EAGLE. She died on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn and her husband, Donald and Martha; two sons, John Edward and his wife, Linda, and Jerry Dean; one brother, Louieand his wife, Carol; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John David “JD” CASON, two sons, Ted and Roy Lee “Toby” WATERS and two brothers, Edward and Goodlow EAGLE.

Funeral services for George Alex DOUT, 75, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Sallisaw with the Rev. Bennet Peters officiating. Burial was at Ebenfield Cemetery in Okeene under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. DOUT was born on Oct. 17, 1934, in Okeene to Alex DOUT and Ruby (SCHNEIDNER) DOUT. He died on Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Marsha W. MARTIN on Aug. 5, 2000, in Eureka Springs, Ark. Survivors include his wife Marsha DOUT of the home; two daughters, Donnie and Angela; two sons, Randy and Alex; two sisters, Rosalie and Martha; and eight grandchildren

Funeral services for Samuel B. LESSLEY were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel. Brother Sam Nichols will share words of comfort. Burial with military honors followed at Woodlawn Cemetery. Sam was the youngest of three sons born to William Earl LESSLEY and Lelah (FAULKNER) LESSLEY on Feb. 20, 1918. Sam met and married Hazel TRIPP, daughter of Joe and Pearl (CASH) TRIPP. Sam and Hazel were married March 19, 1943. Sam was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Hoyt and Faulkner. He is survived by his wife, Hazel, of Claremore; daughter, Barbara and her husband Jack; son, Ronald and his wife, Meredith; three grandsons;  twp great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Loriene CHOATE, 87, of Marble City were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Marble City Holiness Church with the Rev. Wylie Cole officiating. Burial was at Dwight Mission Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CHOATE was born on Aug. 3, 1923, in Marble City to Alford KENNEDY and Emma (YAHOLA) KENNEDY. She died on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, in Gore. She married James Leon CHOATE in 1941, in Sequoyah County. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1957. Survivors include three daughters, Velma, Patsy and Redeana; two sons, Robert and Tom; two sisters, Louella and Jewell; one brother Thomas; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services for J.W. “Dub” NEAL, 78, of Muldrow will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Tommy Treat officiating. Burial will be at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. NEAL was born on Feb. 3, 1932, in Muldrow to Roy Emmitt NEAL and Edna Viola (JONES) NEAL. He died on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one brother, Rick; and three sisters, Martha G., Vergene and Betty.

Kendan Blake WAGNER of Muldrow was born on Sept. 9, 1990, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Joe RICHMOND Jr. and Lorie (WAGNER) DENNY and passed away on Sept. 5, 2010, in Rogers, Ark., at the age of 19. He is survived by his parents Lori (WAGNER) DENNY and husband Isreal DENNY of the home and Joe RICHMOND Jr. and wife Lori; one brother, Skeet; one sister, Samantha; two stepsisters, Tiffnay and Haley; maternal grandparents, Sam and Jean DUTY and Bud and Carol WAGNER; and paternal grandparents, Joe RICHMOND Sr. and Jan RICHMOND. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Victory Temple Church with the Revs. Shawn Money Mario Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery under the direction of the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Ralph Lee WILLIAMS, 92, of Roland died on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, in Roland. He was born on Sept. 7, 1917, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Albert N. WILLIAMS and Nettie Mae (LEE) WILLIAMS. No formal service is planned and cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Linda; one son, Ron; seven grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, and three brothers, Albert, Carl and Bernie WILLIAMS.

Jason Ravan officiating under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. BECKER was born on Nov. 23, 1929, in Springfield, Mo., to Jacob and Jewel (HURD) BECKER. He died on Thursday, Sept. 2 in Gore. He married Monzetta ROZELL on Feb. 14, 1987 in Reno, Nev. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Monzetta BECKER of the home; two sons, Bob and Larry; one daughter, Sharon; two sisters, Mary and Betty; two brothers, Larry and Jay B; five stepchildren, Valerie, Delta, Melanie, Stephanie, and Robert; and 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Saúl Garcia RAMIREZ, 24, of Tulsa will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Jim Murphy officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. RAMIREZ was born on Sept. 12, 1985, in Matias Romero, Juchitan, Oaxaco Mexico to Saúl Garcia and Enedina RAMIREZ. He died on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, in Tulsa. He married Kimberly Lynn SUMMERLIN on June 28, 2008, in Gore. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly GARCIA of the home; one daughter, Allison Dina; his parents; two sisters, Enet Garcia and Loyda Garcia; and two brothers, Jesús Garcia and Isaias Garcia.

Graveside services for Jeannie Marie PICKARD WATTS, 59, of Braggs were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the White Chapel Cemetery in Gore with Danny Cheney officiating under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mrs. WATTS was born on July 4, 1951, in Muskogee to Roy Gene and Eunice (TARPLEY) PICKARD. She died on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at her home. She married Jerry WATTS in Gore. Survivors include her husband, Jerry WATTS of the home; two daughters, Julie and husband, William, and Jeanette; three grandchildren; her parents; her brothers and sisters, David and wife Lisa, Cindy and husband Tim, Donna and husband Mike, and Glen and wife Jennifer; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Burial was at Gore City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. ALDERSHOF was born on Sept. 26, 1919, in Philadelphia, Pa., to George Andrew BURBAGE and S. Gertrude (MORRIS) BURBAGE. She died on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, in Muskogee. Survivors include her children, Kie “Katie” ALDERSHOF JOHNSON and David Van ALDERSHOF; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. ANDREWS was born on Sept. 14, 1988, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Stephen Lee ANDREWS and Karen Denise (WILLIAMS) ANDREWS. He died on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in Fort Chaffee, Ark. Survivors include his parents of the home; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Kristina, Kimberly and Blaine, and Cara and Chad ; one brother, Steve; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Burial was at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. Mrs. BROOKS was born on Sept. 13, 1915, in Mineral Springs to Mose Oliver PARRIS and Prudie (HOWELL) PARRIS. She died on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one son, Billy Ed; two brothers, Bill and R.H.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Riley BROOKS on March 22, 1962.

Funeral services for Crystal Gayle GANNAWAY GORMAN, 26, of Tulsa were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the chapel at Add’Vantage Funeral and Cremation Service in Tulsa. Burial was at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Stilwell. She was born on Jan. 24, 1984, in Tulsa to Freddie GANNAWAY and Wanda STAGGS. She died on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010. Survivors include her mother Wanda HALL; her father, Freddie GANNAWAY; step-parents, Lisa and Bobby WARNER and David HALL; son, Ethan William; daughter, Sage and her father, Josh; paternal and maternal grandparents; brother, Freddie Garcia GANNAWAY; sister, Erica Dawn; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services for Troy Wayne JAMES, 60, of Sallisaw will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Gans Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Charles Sparkman officiating,  Burial will be at Brent Cemetery, south of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. JAMES was born on Feb. 1, 1950, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Troy Newton JAMES and Sadie Aleese (THRELKELD) GOINS. He died on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, in Sallisaw. He married Emma Bell ATWOOD in May 1986, in Rison, Ark. Survivors include his wife Emma JAMES of the home; three daughters, Debra, Teresa and Angela; his mother; three sisters, Vickie, Connie, and Debbie; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Roland D. MILLER of Nicut was born on Feb. 22, 1933, in Michigan and passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife Maggie of the home; two daughters, Wanda,  and Rosa Lea and her husband, Fred; one son, Eugene; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Allen MILLER and two sisters, Mickey and Ila. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Roland. Burial followed at Seabolt Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Graveside services for Bonnie Gladys REESE, 96, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, Ark., with the Rev. Tommy Noel officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. REESE was born on Aug. 19, 1914, in Sallisaw to Frank HILLl and Sadie (SIMMONS) HILL. She died on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, in Vian. Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Thelma, Bertha and Cherry HILL; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Gracie HILL and five brothers, Robert “Mutt” HILL, James HILL, Melvin HILL, Fred HILL and Carl HILL.

Funeral services for Harland Jack SHAHAN, 85, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with the Rev. Mary Sue Mos, Pastor Jeff Allred and Gary Folsom officiating.  Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SHAHAN was born on June 13, 1925, in Scratchout to Arthur SHAHAN and Bonzie (EDWARDS) SHAHAN. He died on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Phyllis Patricia KEIFER on Aug. 20, 1948, in Sebastopol, Calif. She preceded him in death on March 10, 20000. Survivors include four daughters, Patricia, Harletta, Sandra and Deborah; one son, C.J.; five sisters, Loretta, Nadine, Betty, Maebelle and Veleta Gail; two brothers, Art and Charles; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Amber Dianne SOLNER, 33, were held at noon on Monday at Brent Cemetery with Sis. Betty Dunn officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. SOLNER was born on April 27, 1977, in Tahlequah to Henry W. DREADFULWATER and Kathy Ellen (PETREE) DREADFULWATER. She died on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors included her parents; one sister, Henryetta; and two brothers, Anthony and Dayton.

Survivors include his wife Melba TRUEBLOOD of the home; one son, Darin; and two grandchildren.

Burial is in Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. TURPEN was born on Feb. 13, 1935, in Davison to Loyd TURPEN and Florence (CARR) TURPEN. He died on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, in Sallisaw. He married Helen Sue BARRETT on June 3, 1991, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife Sue TURPEN of the home; three stepdaughters, Teresa, Pam and Becky; two sisters, Blanche and Marie; four brothers, Lee and Jim, Newell “Bo” and Mike; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Jo Ann WAGNER of Sallisaw was born on July 9, 1933, in Tulsa to Louie A. and Lela (JOHNSON) RIGGS and passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 77. She is survived by her husband, Donald of the home; one daughter, Jo Ella; one son, James; and one brother, Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Louie MILLER. Graveside services are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Burial is at Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler. Mr. CLOUD was born on July 13, 1922, in Kinta to Bert and Artie (SMITH) CLOUD. He died on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, in Tulsa.  Survivors include one daughter, Freda; three sons, Preston, Billy Don, Tommy; one brother, Jasper; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephew, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial is in Dwight Mission Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  Mr. RUARK was born on Aug. 2, 1926, in Vian to Charlie RUARK and Elsie (GOODWIN) RUARK. He died on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, in Sallisaw. He married Leota Violet (REID) TAYLOR on April 7, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Leota RUARK of the home; three daughters, Carol, Violet, and Shannon; two sons, David and Dennis; three brothers, Clayton, Frank, and Allen; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Wanda Beatrice (MATTINGLY) RUARK, two sons Rob RUARK and Leon TAYLOR, one sister, Gracie PINSON and one brother, Dee RUARK.

James Elbert SWIGERT, 77, of Sallisaw died on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, in Muskogee. He was born on July 1, 1933, in Longlane, Mo., to Samuel Richard SWIGERT and Ester Celene (CHAPMAN) SWIGERT. No formal services are planned and cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Survivors include, five daughters, Becky, Lesliee, Joyce, Vicki, and Kathern; one sister, Lucille; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Funeral services for Opal Marie BALL WOODS, 87, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brushy Holiness Church, north of Sallisaw, with the Revs. G.W. Birdsong and Lee Thornell officiating. Burial is at Brushy Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WOODS was born on March 27, 1923, in Brushy to Luwellen BALL and Minnie (BATES) BALL. She died on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, in Vian. She married Jesse James “Jess” WOODS on June 20, 1940, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2003. Survivors include two daughters, Delois and Sharon; one brother, Columbus; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Elva TAYLOR CARGILL, 99, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CARGILL was born on Nov. 19, 1910, in Sequoyah County to Lester TAYLOR and Maude (CHANCEY) TAYLOR. She died on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, in Vian. She married James Sebert CARGILL on July 8, 1928, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1961. Survivors include two daughters, Emogene, and Barbara; two sisters, Ruby and Neomia; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Emma Ruth JORDAN of Muldrow was born in Redland to Charley and Willard (PLANK SHOFNER on April 11, 1928, and passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 82. She is survived by one daughter, Pam; one granddaughter; and four sisters, Genny, Jane K., Betty Jewell, and Edith. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.R. JORDAN, and three brothers, Buddy KING of San Diego, Calif., Jerry Dale SHOFNER of Fort Smith and C.L. SHOFNER of Muldrow. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory in Sallisaw. No services are scheduled at this time.

Jesse Donald WILLIAMS of Muldrow was born Oct. 8, 1933, in Brent to Jess and Okla (SCOTT) WILLIAMS and passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2010 in the Veterans Center in Talihina at the age of 76. He is survived by, his wife, Carolyn Sue WILLIAMS of the home; one daughter, Felicia and husband Stanley; two sons, Donald and wife Sara, and Edward and wife, Ashley; three sisters, Mary and husband Rex, Sandra and husband Charles, and Pauline; three brothers, Paul, Sherwin and wife Linda, and Bill and wife Ruth,; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. His parents and one sister, Ruby SCOGGINS, preceded him in death. Funeral services are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Eugene Kester officiating. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Mrs. BALLARD was born on Dec. 14, 1945, in Chicago to Lambert Loveland ACEVEDO and Esther (ORTIZ) ACEVEDO. She died on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, in Tulsa. Survivors include her husband, Tom BALLARD; two sons, the Rev. Thomas and wife, Leanne, and Todd and wife, Debbie; two daughters, Zena and husband, Michael, and Laurie and husband, Mark; two brothers, Lambert and wife, Lupe, and Edmund; one sister, Sandra and husband, Jorge; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Patricia Ann McCONNELL, 75, of Muldrow will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29 at the First Baptist Church in Muldrow. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. McCONNELL was born on March 1, 1935, in Beatrice, Neb., to Harold A. MORGAN and Iris Edith (ESTEP) MORGAN. She died on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, in Muldrow. She married Ralph Dean McCONNELL on Jan. 17, 1967, in Orange County, Calif. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1996. Survivors include one daughter, Dawn Michelle; one stepdaughter, Diana Jean; one stepson, Chad Dean; two brothers, Norman and James Arthur; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her parents and one sister, Greta Jean STAFFER, also preceded her in death.

Brian Bedwell officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Dustin under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CRAWFORD was born on June 2, 1926, in Allen to Henry JONES and Mattie (ROGERS) JONES. She died on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married the Rev. Bural CRAWFORD in 1946, in Okemah. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1988. Survivors include two daughters, Burlene and Shirley; two sons, Jim and Mike; one sister, Kathryn; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Ronald Gene FIELDS of Muldrow was born on Sept. 13, 1943, in Albany, Ore., to Eugene and Emma (Erna) FIELDS and passed away Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, in Muldrow at the age of 67. He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda and Jodie; three sons, Eugene, Ron and Bill; his mother; two sisters, Juanita and Edie; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Jerrie FIELDS. Memorial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Mallory Chapel in Sallisaw. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Connie Lee HYATT, 62, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Bro. Eugene Christenberry officiating. Burial was at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. HYATT was born on Nov. 27, 1947, in Ventura, Calif., to Dewey William BEASON and Annie Lucille SMITH. She died on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, in Muldrow. She married Ferrell Eugene HYATT Sr. on Dec. 30, 1965, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include her husband Ferrell of the home; one daughter, Tina; four sons, James, Donald, Randy and Ferrell; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Skippy Lee INGERHAM, 65, of Sallisaw died on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, in Sallisaw. No formal services are planned. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  Mr. INGERHAM was born on April 3, 1945, in Tulsa to Garland INGERHAM and Iola (SILKEY) INGERHAM. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie; one son, Jody; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Ernest James “Ernie” JACKSON was born on Sept. 9, 1936, preceded by his parents, Ace Ernest JACKSON and Geneva V. (DAY) JACKSON HARVEL of Muldrow. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, in Kirkland, Wash. He is survived by his children, Rickey, Denis, Cynthia, Tim, Ivy and Derick and stepson, John; brothers, Ken and Mary, and Wayne and Nancy; ten  grandchildren. and preceded by Jacob. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Russell’s Restaurant in Bothell, Wash.

Graveside services for Alta Wayne MATTHEWS, 60, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw with the Rev. Curtis Bias officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. MATTHEWS was born on June 13, 1950, in Akins to David Jackson MATTHEWS and Lois Marie (TUNE) MATTHEWS. He died on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, in Muldrow. from Dykes Lumber. He married Betty Jean GARDENHIRE on July 3, 1989, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife Betty MATTHEWS of the home; five daughters, Angie, Lavada, Crystal, Betty, and Christy; eight sisters, Marie, Wanda, Mary, Donna , Betty, Dean, Darlene, and Eyvon; one brother, Otis; and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Vonda LaVon MORTON, 68, of Sallisaw are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with Bro. Kurt Henry officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. MORTON was born on Sept. 13, 1942, in Marked Tree, Ark., to Ollie McFERRIN and Essie (FRAZIER) McFERRIN. She died on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Kenneth Dean MORTON on May 10, 1959, in Anthony, N.M. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth MORTON of the home; one daughter, Kendra; one son, Kenneth Eugene; one brother, Gene; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death.

Graveside services for Alton Ray O’NEAL, 87, of Gore are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Box Cemetery in Vian with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. O’NEAL was born on Nov. 25, 1922, in Red Oak to William O’NEAL and Berth (WACKERLY) O’NEAL. He died on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, in Muskogee. He married Velma Maedell BAKER on Nov. 11, 1945, in Reno, Nev. She preceded him in death on Dec. 17, 2001. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra and Sharon; one brother, C.D.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Homer Irvin PREWETT, 80, of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roland Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Steve Gray and Dale Phelps officiating. Burial was at Liberty Cemetery north of Roland under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. PREWETT was born on Feb. 27, 1930, in Midway to Clifford PREWETT and Bessie (IRVIN) PREWETT. He died on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two sons, Preston and Brandon; one sister, Reva; one brother, Louie; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jesse L.E. WALKER, an infant, Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lee Creek Church. Burial was at Seabolt Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Jesse was born on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Roger WALKER and April QUALLS. He died on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his parents; one brother, Brayden; and his grandparents. His brother, Mathew Dale WALKER, grandparents and a cousin, preceded him in death.
