Funeral services for Jake DREW, of Vian are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Vian, with the Revs. Eugene Wright, J.D. Jones and T.D. Drew officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. DREW was born Nov. 8, 1905, in Vian, Indian Territory, to Josh and Susie (CREPO) DREW. He died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son; two sisters, Fannie Mae and Nellie; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. DREW was preceded in death by his first wife, Gussie O. FOREMAN; his second wife, Geneva DREW; eight sisters, Rosie WASHINGTON, Minnie SHINE, Lucy BROWN, Eunice SCARBOROUGH, Bessie ARMSTRONG, Sally DREW, Jennie DREW and Coy DREW; and two brothers, Pete DREW and Isaac DREW.

Graveside services for Harvey Ed MARTIN, of Broken Arrow, formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Mr. MARTIN was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Sallisaw, to Harvey and Cathaleen (THOMPSON) MARTIN. He died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, in Broken Arrow. He married Mary Jane CHANDLER in 1980 in Broken Arrow. Survivors include his wife, Mary MARTIN of the home; two stepdaughters, Diane and Clay, and Kathy and Jack; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Shirley and Fred, Sharley and Charles and Wilma; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Pat STEELEY ARNETT, of Roland are being held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mallory Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial is in Marble City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. ARNETT was born June 15, 1941, in Tahlequah, to Orville and Julia (GLASS) McMINN. She died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include three daughters, DeLain, Jennifer, and Amber; one son, Graig "Sonny"; one brother, James; her mother, Julia;  12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Lillird Billy BROWN, of Spiro were held at 1 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Spiro, with the Revs. Frank Morgan and Mike Shaw officiating. Burial was in Hoyt Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro. Mr. BROWN was born Sept. 12, 1917, in Hoyt, to William and Dixie (PRIMM) BROWN. He died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, in a Fort Smith Ark., hospital. Survivors include his wife, Eva Jewel (ARGA) BROWN of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and George, and Julia and Mack; three sisters, Hazel , Louise and Edith; five grandsons; and six great-grandchildren. Mr. BROWN was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Troy and Orville BROWN; and a half sister, Antone COTNER.

Funeral services for Billie L. CLARK, of Tahlequah were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tamaha Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Delmon Eakle officiating. Burial was in Tamaha Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler. Mrs. CLARK was born Jan. 10, 1935, in Keota, to C.A. McKINNEY and Ethel (WHITE) McKINNEY. She died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2000, in Tahlequah. Survivors include her husband, Raymond "Jack" CLARK of the home; two sons, Larry and Darrell; three sisters, Ina, Carol, and Cheryl; two brothers, Wayne and Kenneth; and four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Burial is in Box Cemetery, under the direction of millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls. Mr. HOUSTON was born Sept. 9, 1913, in Walnut Fork, Ark., to John Henry HOUSTON and Lottie (HALL) HOUSTON. He died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include one daughter, Lena; one son, T.W.; three brothers, Oather, Joe and Mutt; two sisters, Misia and Lilye; one grandson; three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Sarah Agnes JILES, of Vian are being held at 1 p.m Thursday at Round Mountain Church, west of Vian, with the Rev. Ted Hillyard officiating. Mrs. JILES was born March 20, 1923, in Canada. She died  Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, in Vian. She married Olen JILES Sept. 8, 1982, in Santa Ana, Calif. Survivors include her husband, Olen JILES of the home; one daughter, Jackie; three stepdaughters, Sue, Diane and Treasa; one son, Roy; two stepsons, Jerry and Ray; 24 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Hilda, Margarite and Sister Mary. Mrs. JILES was preceded in death by one stepson, Johnny JILES. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Judy JOHNSON, of Catoosa were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock House Church in Catoosa, with LaVonne Ashlock officiating. Burial was in New Home Cemetery in Peggs, under the direction of Kennard Funeral Service. Mrs. JOHNSON was born Sept. 29, 1944, in Muldrow, to Stanley and Grace (RIDDLE) COOK, formerly of Sallisaw. She died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, in Broken Arrow. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanice and Robert, Betty and Bill, and Kathy and Shane; two stepchildren, Darrel and wife, Tina, and Kelly; 16 grandchildren; three sisters, Carole, Barbara and Janice; two brothers, Rick and Gary; and other relatives around the Sallisaw and Muldrow area. Her parents preceded Mrs. JOHNSON in death.

Funeral services for Adler Eugene MALONE, of Sallisaw were  held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Akins Assembly of God Church, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. MALONE was born Jan. 5, 1918, in Tuckerman, Ark., to Wesley Clayton MALONE and Eva (McGOWEN) MALONE. He died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, in Sallisaw. He married Larah Estella WALKER July 18, 1988, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Larah MALONE of the home; one daughter, Lee; two stepdaughters, Lois and Myrna; one son, Wesley; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Olan H. McELHANNON of Webbers Falls were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Okmulgee City Cemetery, with the Rev. Marvin McElhannon officiating. Mr. McELHANNON was born Aug. 10, 1915, in Paden, to John P. McELHANNON and Donnie (LITTLE) McELHANNON. He died Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, in Okmulgee. He married Imogene FORREST Nov. 14, 1942. Survivors include his wife, Imogene McELHANNON; two sons, John W. and Olan Jr.; three sisters, Wilma , Lillie and  Ruby; one grandson; one step-grandson; one granddaughter; one step-granddaughter; three great-grandsons; four step-great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Millsap Funeral Home of Webbers Falls.

Funeral services for Thomas Joe McHENRY, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mallory Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Revs. Curtis Bias and Jimmy Goines officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. McHENRY was born Oct. 21, 1946, in Sallisaw, to Tom and Geneva (MILLER) McHENRY. He died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Helen (WEBSTER) McHENRY; one daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Darren; one granddaughter; one sister, Donnie; eight sisters-in-law, Georgia, Mary and husband, Bill, Faye, Kathy, Ginger, Patricia and husband, Richard, Mary and Judy; eight brothers-in-law, Jack and wife, Pete and Sabina, Ray and Donna, Ricky and wife, James and Rita, Danny, Rex and Stacy and Darrell; uncle Carnell; aunt, Myrtle; and several nieces and nephews. His parents; two grandchildren, Toni Jo and an infant; and one brother, Bob R. McHENRY, preceded Mr. McHENRY in death.

Francis "Bucky" POTOCHNIK, of Muldrow died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000, in a Fort Smith, Ark., Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at the home, north of Muldrow. Cremation is at Mid-South Crematory in Fort Smith, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. Survivors include his biological father, Don CLESTER; his parents, Karl and Ann-Louise POTOCHNIK; his grandmother, Mary; two sisters, Bethany and Leonett; two brothers, Karl M. and Danny; one niece; and one nephew.

Funeral services for Winnie RENFRO, were held at 2 p.m Monday at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home in Houston. Burial was in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, under the direction of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Mrs. RENFRO was born Nov. 24, 1923, in Sallisaw. She died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000. Survivors include one son, George; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Scott; one grandson; three sisters, Jesse, Eva and Eunice; one brother, Bill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard TURNER Sr., of Rudy, Ark., died Friday Sept. 29, 2000, at his home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery in Uniontown, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren. Survivors include his wife, Betty of the home; two daughters, Elaine and Chloe; one son, Richard Jr.; four sisters, Doris, Virginia, Francis, and  Clara; three brothers, Charles Ray and William and Melvin; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for India Wynona CARTER, of Sallisaw formerly of Bokoshe, were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Bokoshe, with the Rev. Robert L. Polvado officiating. Burial was in Old Bokoshe Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. CARTER was born July 13, 1908, in Jamestown, Ark., to Tom and Ethel (JONES) HAMPTON. She died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, in Sallisaw. She married Daniel CARTER Aug. 18, 1927, in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death in 1996. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Sue; one grandson; one granddaughter; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Opal, Betty, Violet, Chris and Ethel; two brothers, J.C. and Eugene; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mrs. CARTER was also preceded in death by one daughter, Margie Lue; and one great-granddaughter, Malinda Sue LAND.

Funeral services for Mary Grace VEIGEL, of Sallisaw are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating. Burial is in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. VEIGEL was born March 27, 1908, in Wyndmoor, Pa., to Harry and Anna (MOOCK) KERNEN. She died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, in Sallisaw. She married Frederick John VEIGEL June 14, 1931, in Wyndmoor. He preceded her in death May 21, 1984.  Survivors include three daughters, Grace, Jean and Judy; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Emma; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Mr. BELLAMY was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Depew, to Richard Martin BELLAMY and Lillian Willhelmina (NEUBAUER) BELLAMY. He died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Marjorie and Floyd and Laura; one niece; and one nephew. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

James Woodrow "Woody" CAMPBELL, of Sallisaw died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, in Sallisaw. Burial of cremains was at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. CAMPBELL was born Dec. 30, 1914, in Big Springs, Texas, to James and Lula Mae (CASTLE) CAMPBELL.  He married Joan CULLPEPPER COBB Aug. 5, 1981, in Wagoner. Survivors include his wife, Joan CAMPBELL of the home; one stepdaughter, Jana; two sons, James Patrick and Joe Keith; two stepsons, Bryan and Steve; six grandchildren; one brother, Castleberry "Cass"; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Betty Faye DUTTON, of Alma, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hight Cemetery, east of Mulberry, Ark., under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark, Ark. Mrs. DUTTON died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at her home. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Melvin Calvin DUTTON; three sons, Orvel, Jimmy and Calvin; four sisters, Mary, Ruthie, Norene and Carolyn; four brothers, Johnny, David, Floy and Jessie; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Mrs. DUTTON was preceded in death by one son, Paul PITTSER; one grandson, Teddy Wayne PITTSER; and one granddaughter, Elaine PITTSER.

Graveside services for Marguerette ESTEP, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Mrs. ESTEP was born Sept. 7, 1908, in Greenbriar, Tenn., to C.P. and Stella (BLACKBURN) DORRIS. She died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in Vian. She married Earl ESTEP Sr. in 1929 in Sequoyah County. He preceded her in death in 1970. Survivors include one daughter, Carol Kay; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Earl Jr. and Pat; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew; Mrs. ESTEP was also preceded in death by one son, Enoch Charles ESTEP; and one brother, Patrick DORRIS. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Gladys Jessie HAYES, of Brunswick, Mo., are being held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick, with Revs. Wendell Turner and Lanny Lybarger officiating. Burial is in Brunswick City Cemetery, under the direction of Gibson Funeral Home. Mrs. HAYES was born Dec. 20, 1910, in Osceola, Mo., to Stephen and Sarah (JOHNSON) BURKHART. She died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, at the Brunswick Nursing Home. She married James A. HAYES  Nov. 8, 1924, in Lexington, Mo. He preceded her in death July 10, 1967. Survivors include two sons, James and Carl; five daughters, Alice, Wilma, Kessie, Donna and DeEtta; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Grace; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. HAYES was also preceded in death by one son, Lee Roy HAYES; her parents; six brothers; three sisters; and three grandchildren.

Connie Nell McCONNELL, of Mansfield, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at her home. Funeral services are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Poteau First Assembly of God Church. Burial is in Vaughn Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Ark. Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" McCONNELL of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Davis, Christina and John,  Cori and Eddie; two sisters, Janice and Doris; one brother, Robert; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs. SPANGLER was born March 3, 1944, in Hackett, Ark., to William Benjamin SPANGLER Sr. and Ola (DRIVER) SPANGLER. She died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, in Stilwell. She married Oscar Dan FOSTER July 1, 1963, in Stilwell. She married her second husband, T.H. BUCKNER in 1979. Survivors include her companion, Eunah; children and grandchildren, Franklin Wayne, wife, Melissa, George Isaac, wife, Jeanne Lynne, Steven Eugene, wife, Susan Nanette, Lisa Danette, husband, Michael, William Oscar, Terria Ann, husband, Stephen Wayne, Jeffery Jason; two brothers, William Benjamin Jr., and wife, Lois and Newton Coldern and wife, Vicki; and 15 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Jewell SHADE Jan. 3, 1949. Survivors include his wife, Jewell BROCK of the home; three daughters; Barbara D., Kathy D., and Camenae L.; four sons, Thomas W., Donald L., Allen R. and Randall E.; five sisters, Lottie , Rosie Lee, Verna, Omie and Edith; one brother, Wyatt Jr.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Donald Gillett COBB, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Goddard United Methodist Church in Fort Smith. Burial is in Roselawn  Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  Mr. COBB died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jean COBB of the home; four daughters, Elizabeth Ann, Julie, Nancy, and Mary Jane; four sons, John D., Stephen Gillett, Ronald Eric and Christopher Lawrence; two sisters, Dorothy Lill and Nell; one brother, Frank; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Mr. COBB was preceded in death by one grandson, John William COBB.

Graveside services for Samuel B. TOPHAM, of Austin, Texas were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. TOPHAM died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in Austin. Survivors include two sons, Carruth and tristan; his parents, the Rev. Michael and Debbie TOPHAM; and one sister, Britt. Arrangements were under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. CARSON was born Oct. 11, 1926, in Akins, to Earl and Delia (GIPSON) CARSON. He died Friday Oct. 13, 2000, in Muskogee.  Survivors include is wife, Betty of the home; one daughter, Joy Lee; one son, Olen Jr., and wife, Loretta; two sisters, Inez, and Earlene; one brother, Dallas; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Mr. CARSON was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Joy Lee; and two brothers, John Henry and Garlan "Boss" Wesley CARSON.

Funeral services for Nancy E. COUGHLIN, of Sallisaw were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Jeff Polasek officiating. Mrs. COUGHLIN was born April 25, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Raymond and Pentranella (MOORE) BIEGEL. She died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, in Sallisaw. She married Ed COUGHLIN Oct. 8, 1955, in Southgate, Calif.  Survivors include her husband Ed of the home; one daughter, Laurie Ellen; three sons, Edward D. Jr., Kenneth Neal and John Raymond; 11 grandchildren; one great- grandchild.; three brothers, Bob, Phillip and Peter; four sisters, Dorothy, Betris and Betty, Cheryl; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Graveside services for Charlotte "Charley" DENNY, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Seabolt Cemetery, with the Rev. Floyd Kester officiating. Mrs. DENNY was born Jan. 20, 1927, in Kilgore, Texas. She died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, in Stilwell. Survivors include her husband, Eugene DENNY of the home; Mrs. DENNY was preceded in death by one son, Wayne DUDASCH.

Mrs. FULLER was born April 30, 1934, in Sequoyah County, to Cecil and  Dicie (GANTT) DAVIS. She died  Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon and Teresa; two sons, Bill and Danny; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva and Margie; one brother, C.C.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Ishmell Benton "Tim" HUGHART, of Webbers Falls were  held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls, with Bro. Jerry White officiating. Burial was in Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Home in Webbers Falls. Mr. HUGHART was born Feb. 13, 1925, near Braggs, to Flora and Clay HUGHART. He died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at Broadway Manor in Muskogee. He married Wileen COPE. Survivors include his wife, Wileen HUGHART of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Don, Donna and Ed, and Lynn and Darrell; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five brothers, Doyle, Silas, Paul, Marion and Douglas; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.  Mr. HUGHART was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Irie ROWAN,  Alta DUKE and Alice HUGHART; and one brother, Clifford HUGHART.

Burial is in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. KROTH was born Jan. 24, 1916, in Russellville, Ark., to Harry and Viola (LUNSFORD) SPENCER. She died  Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000,  in Sallisaw. She married Robert Luther KROTH Oct. 22, 1962, in Tyler, Texas. He preceded her in death Jan. 17, 1995. Survivors include three daughters, Margaret, Wanda and Hazel; six sons, Charles, Johnnie Lee, Lawrence, Archie, Wayne and Bruce; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. KROTH was preceded in death by a twin son, Brice B. DAILY.  

Funeral services for Robert Autho RUARK, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Robert L. Polvado officiating. Burial was in Dwight Mission Cemetery, northwest of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. RUARK was born Sept. 28, 1958, in Sallisaw, to Autho Junior RUARK and Wanda Beatrice (MATTINGLY) RUARK. He died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include one son,  John Robert RUARK of Sallisaw; his father, Autho RUARK; one sister, Carol; and two brothers, David and Dennis.

Pete A. CARMELL, of Alma, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, at his home. Graveside memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Friday with burial of cremains with military honors at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Flo of the home; three daughters, Cathy, Colleen and Tracie; one son, Mark; two sisters, Eva and Alice; five grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark.

Funeral services for Thelma D. CARR, of Roland were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Roland. Burial was in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. CARR died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, in Fort Smith. Survivors include one son, Robert E. Jr.; and two grandchildren.

Leslie "Buster" KING, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, in a local hospital. Graveside services are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, Ark. Miss PETERSON was born Sept. 20, 1976, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Ronnie Gene PETERSON and Carolyn Sue (OSBURN) PETERSON KING. She died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her father and step-mother, Ronnie and pam; her mother, Carolyn; two sisters, Keara and Brittany; three brothers, Eric, Derek and Devon; paternal grandmother, Edith; two aunts, Rachelle and Debra; and one uncle, Jimmy. Miss PETERSON was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, J.B. PETERSON; and maternal grandparents, Albert and Trudy OSBURN.

Graveside services for Robert Gene RIDINGER, of Gans are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sallisaw City Cemetery, with the Rev. Vernon Smith officiating. Military honors are provided by VFW Post No. 4518, American Legion Post No. 27 and DAV Chapter No. 83. Mr. RIDINGER was born March 16, 1926, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Robert S. RIDINGER and Marjorie L. (BECRAFT: RIDINGER. He died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, in Sallisaw. He married Marlene MUSE Nov. 4, 1946, in Reno, Nev. Survivors include his wife, Marlene RIDINGER of the home; three daughters, Penny, Patty L. and Nancy; three sons, Gerald, Richard, and Ed; 19 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara and Ann. Mr. RIDINGER was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Lee RIDINGER in 1987. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Bobby Gene SHAMBLIN, of Sallisaw died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, in Sallisaw. He was born June 7, 1951, in Arkoma to Vernie and Bonnie (GRIFFIN) SHAMBLIN. Survivors include one daughter, Amber Dianne; two sister, Emma Sue and Sharon; two brothers, Jack and Ray; and one grandson.  Mr. SHAMBLIN was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Robbie MORRIS; and one sister, Phyllis SHAMBLIN. Sybil "Nanny" (CRABTREE) COOK, of Van Buren, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, in Van Buren. She was born March 2, 1920, in  Memphis, Tenn., to Oscar Lee CRABTEE and Lillian Melinda (CONYER) CRABTREE. Survivors include two daughters, Susan and Lilly; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. COOK was preceded in death by her husband, William Price COOK; one sister, Ruby CRABTEE SULLIVAN; and five brothers, Wesley, Aubrey, Alvie, Noah and Oscar CRABTREE.

Funeral services for Molly Jane DeWEESE, of Tecumseh was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel in Tecumseh, with Victor Cope officiating. Burial was in Tannehill Cemetery, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh. Mrs. DeWEESE was born May 16, 1923, in Brent, to Frank and Alta (HAYES) KIDD. She died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, in Oklahoma City. She married Arley JOHNSON in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1946. She married Floyd DeWEESE in 1947. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1968. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Tim; two sons and daughters-in-law,  Eddie and Vena, and Jeff and Mattie; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Perry; and one brother and sister-in-law,  Jerry and Alta. Mrs. DeWEESE was also preceded in death by her parents; three children, Wilma JOHNSON, Charles JOHNSON and Freddie DeWEESE; and three brother Dewey, Don and Elmer HAYES.

Mr. FARMER was born May 7, 1921, in the Akins community, to Ira and Blanche (WALKER) FARMER. He died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, in Sallisaw. He married Ellen Marie WHITTENBURG Dec. 29, 1941. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Marie FARMER of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Wayne and Sandy, and Larry Joe and Lois; six grandchildren;   and seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mr FARMER was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Maurice "Buddy" FARMER in 1996.

Survivors include her husband, Herman KELTON; one son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Jean ; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys and  Norma; and many nieces and nephews. Burial is in Newkirk Cemetery in Jessieville, Ark., under the direction of Hot Springs Funeral Home. Mrs. PETTIT was born Aug. 4, 1942, to Charles C. CARR and Velma M. AULT CARR. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. RANDOLPH was born June 15, 1909, in Miller Ridge, to Jim and  Florence (SANDERS) MILLER. She died Friday, October 20, 2000, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Dee, and Kathleen and Junior; one son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Margaret; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. RANDOLPH was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Silas RANDOLPH on June 16, 1987; and one grandson, Merle McCLENDON.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. BROWN was born June 19, 1904, in Ethel,  Ark., to Walter and Hannah Ivory JOHNSON. She died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, in Vian. Survivors include three nephews, Calvin, Martin, and Archie; two nieces, Joan and Emma; and several cousins, and other relatives and friends.  Mrs. BROWN  was preceded in death by her first husband, Grant PETTIS; and her second husband, John B. BROWN.

Lorene HULL, of Spiro died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, in a Poteau hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1923, to Millard and Hester (NATION) THIGPIN.  Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Retha; three sisters, Irene, Mildred, and Joyce; one brother, Leonard; and two great- granddaughters, Felicitty and Tristan HULL/ Mrs. HULL was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Odus Earl MAXWELL; one sister; and one brother. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.

Burial was in Box Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. HUTCHINGS was born July 8, 1910, in Limestone, Ark., to Christopher and Narciss (HOUSTON) CASEY. She died Wednesday, October 25, 2000, in Sallisaw. She married Garrett HUTCHINGS on Sept. 26, 1928. He preceded her in death. Survivors include four daughters, Wilma, Virginia, Wanda and Linda; one sister, Vera; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. HUTCHINGS was also preceded in death by one son, Bill HUTCHINGS; one daughter, Angela Elain HUTCHINGS;  two sisters, Nettie NOE and Cressie STONE;  one brother, Ira CASEY; and three grandsons, Billy HUTCHINGS, Joey PHILLIPS and Neal VENABLE.

Mrs. NOE was born Sept. 11, 1919, in Akins, to Henry Charles GANN and Grace (FITZSIMMONS) GANN. She died Monday, Oct. 21, 2000, in Muskogee. She married Ray NOE who preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Dean, Darrell, Carolyn, Melba and husband, Lonnie; five brothers, Lawton, Chuck, Melvin, Jack and Dale; three sisters, Jean, Shirley and Polly; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Charles B. ROSS, of Fort Smith, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at his home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Hall Cemetery, near Natural Dam, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. Survivors include three daughters, Marilyn, Emma and Sharon; two sons, Charles and Clifton; two sisters, Myrtle and Roxie; four brothers, Tom, Alex, Bobby Joe and Odell; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. ROSS was preceded in death by two sons, Odell and John ROSS.

Graveside services for Leota Ada (WILSON) SUMPTER are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at Maxey Cemetery in Wister, with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Mrs. SUMPTER was born Nov. 12, 1921, in Wister. She died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at her home. Survivors include eight daughters, Betty, Judith Ann, Oradell, Claudette, Yvonne, Alenora, Joenell and Shirley Jean; four sons, Bobby Joe, Steve Ray, Auther Jay and Rocky J.B.; one brother, Vestal; two half brothers, Lee and Jack; 32 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. SUMPTER was preceded in death by her husband  Jay SUMPTER; one daughter, Jacqulyn Sue SUMPTER LUCAS in April 1999; one grandson; and two great-grandsons.
