Funeral services for Tip N. STEWART, 81, of Vain will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Vian Free Will Baptist Church, with the Revs. Larry Miller and Vernon Smith officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vain, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. STEWART was born April 27, 1918, in Sequoyah County, to Ralph and Mary (WARNEKE) STEWART. He died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999, in Vian. He married his first wife, Esther Irene SIFFING Dec. 31, 1940, in Fort Smith, Ark. She preceded him in death Dec. 20, 1976, in Vian. He then married Brenda HOLCOMB May 22, 1984, in Miami. Survivors include his wife, Brenda STEWART of the home; one daughter, Linda ; two stepdaughters, Edna and Robin; two sons, Joe and Keith ; five stepsons, Jimmy , Gerald, Bobby, Jimmy and Billy; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Ann; and one brother, Cecil. Mr. STEWART was also preceded in death by two brothers, Noble and John STEWART, and one stepson, Kenneth WARNEKE in 1986.

Graveside services for Hazel May ALLEN, 74, of Barling, Ark., formerly of Muldrow, were held at 9 a.m. Monday at Blackjack Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow, with Bro. Charles Guillory officiating. Mrs. ALLEN was born Nov. 14, 1924, in Sequoyah County, to William Albert SOUTHERLAND and Pearl Lee (SANDLIN) SOUTHERLAND. She died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Harold C. ALLEN, July 11, 1941, in Moffett. Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Sue , Amy , Candy , and Lisa; one son, Charles Dwight; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita "Peggy"  and Nadine; and three brothers, Robert "Jack", Alfred , and Charles Ray . Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.

Graveside services for Terry A. BRANNON, 52, of Yale are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Blackjack Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow, with Bro. Dub Mowery officiating. Mr. BRANNON was born Dec. 10, 1946, in Oklahoma City, to Foil N. BRANNON and Dorothy Dean WADE. He died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in Oklahoma City. . Survivors include his companion, C.J. of the home; two nephews, Paul David and Larry ; two nieces, Tammy and Kimberly R; and one sister, Carolyn Sue . Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for John Wesley BROOKS JR, 76, of Blackgum community, are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Blackgum, with the Revs. Jimmy Waldrop, Phillip Holt and Laymon Garrison officiating. Burial is in Box Cemetery, north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. BROOKS was born Oct. 20, 1922, in Weatherford, to John Wesley BROOKS Sr. and Eliza Jane (BARNES) BROOKS. He died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, in Blackgum. He married Vivian Rosie Alline DAVIS Nov. 14, 1957, in Gainesville, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Vivian BROOKS of the home; seven daughters, Barbara, Peggy , Vivian , Lula, Shawn , Teresa, and Sandra; four sons, John Wesley III, John Wayne, James Charley, and Billy Joe; 31 grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy, and Bertha . Mr. BROOKS was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Hubbard Clay COWDEN, 89, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. COWDEN was born April 10, 1910, near Braggs, to William F. COWDEN and Nancy Jane (BLANKENSHIP) COWDEN. He died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, in Muskogee. He married Pauline Vera ELLIS May 27, 1942, in Muskogee. Survivors include his wife, Pauline COWDEN of the home; and two sisters-in-law, Lois and Mable .

Mr. John Crawford FLUMERFELT, 72, of Sallisaw, formerly of Texas and Michigan died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Pontiac, Mich., to Hube B. FLUMERFELT and Leah B. (CRAWFORD) FLUMERFELT. He married Mary Jane AUGUSTINE Dec. 1, 1951, in Wixom, Mich. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane FLUMERFELT of the home; and one sister, Nancy Jane. Mr. FLUMERFELT was preceded in death by one son, Joseph FLUMERFELT in 1987. Local arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Albert L. HOLT, 88, of Gore were held at 1 p.m. Monday at he Lighthouse Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Gore, with the Revs. William O. Armstrong, William McGarity and Ray Hale officiating. Burial was in Fields Cemetery in Porum, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls. Mr. HOLT was born Oct. 3,1 910, in Tahlequah, to Charley Jackson HOLT and Nancy Jane (DODY) HOLT. He died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, in Gore. He married Jewell COSPER May 20, 1931, in Stigler. Survivors include his wife, Jewell HOLT of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Oleta and James W., Mary Ann and William, and Cowanda and William O. ; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy Herman and Shirley Ann; two sisters, Wynona and Eva Jane; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Betty Gene LYLES, 72, of Fort Smith, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Mrs. LYLES died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at her home. Survivors include her husband, Virgil L. LYLES; seven daughters, Christie, Carolyn, Charlotte, Christal, Catherine, Cindy, and Cora; five sons, Chris, Ray, Curtis, Virgil A. and George; one sister, Millie; 30 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Jack Edward OGLE, 68, of Sallisaw died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at his home. Mr. OGLE was born Nov. 8, 1930, in Oklahoma City, to Harold A. OGLE and Joyce Fisher (FORD) OGLE. Survivors include his wife, Karen OGLE of the home; three sons, Kevin, Kent and Kelly; eight grandchildren, Abigail, Katelyn, Kane, Jackson, Chandler, Sayre, Merritt and Avery; and one sister, Billie A celebration of Mr. OGLE's life will be held Monday in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services for Charles "Chock" Edward PRATT, 57, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 24 at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Revs. Harvey Rogers and Ted Stamps, and Larry Edwards officiating. Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral home in Muldrow. Mr. PRATT was born July 2, 1942, in Muldrow, to Vernon Anderson PRATT and Wanda Lucille (PLANK) PRATT. He died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, at his home. He married Mary Jane (HUTTON) PRATT June 5, 1968, in Ft. Hood, Texas. She preceded him in death in 1990. Survivors include one daughter, Leisha Gail; four grandchildren; his mother, Wanda (PLANK) PRATT ASHER ; two sisters, Barbara and Theresia; six brothers, James, Vernon Jr., Bill, Lloyd, Jesse, and Kendall. Mr. PRATT was also preceded in death by his father in 1961, and one brother, Joe ASHER in 1992.

Memorial services for C.B. PRICE, 66, of Liberty are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Victory Temple Pentecostal Church in Roland, with the Rev. Don Varble and Tommy Treat officiating. Private burial will be near McAlester, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mr. PRICE was born May 23, 1933, in Jack Fork, to Charles Bud PRICE and Mary Elizabeth (BAILEY) PRICE. He died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Geraldine Katie "Jerry" SCRIBNER May 11, 1952, in Newport, Ore. Survivors include his wife, Jerry PRICE of the home; two daughters, Carolyn Juanita and Shawna June; five sons, Robert E., Daniel Joseph, Carroll Russell "Rusty", David Bud, and Raymond Carroll; 14 grandchildren ; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Mary Elizabeth PRICE; two sisters, Lorene and Juanita; and three brothers, Joe, Jackie and Eugene.

Graveside services for Melvin Earl SHOCKLEY, 71, of Poteau were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Oakland Cemetery Pavilion in Poteau, with Phil Powers officiating. Mr. SHOCKLEY was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Mayville, Ore. He died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Betty SHOCKLEY of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jody; two sons and daughters-in-law, Monte and Rita and Jeff and Connie; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.

Funeral services for Wanda Estleen SMITH, 58, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Gore, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gore, with the Bishop Duwayne Briley officiating. Burial is in Stevenson Cemetery, near Gore, under the direction of Agent Funeral home in Gore. Mrs. SMITH was born April 11, 1941, in Gore, to Joseph Silas HUNT and Elza (STEVENSON) HUNT. She died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, in Mesa. She married Claude Elmer SMITH SR. Jan. 6, 1958, in Lordsburg, N.M. Survivors include her husband, Claude Elmer SMITH Sr. of the home; three daughters, Sandra Darlene, Martha Sue and Lisa Ann; one son, Claude Elmer Jr.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elza Mae, Erma and Phillis; and eight brothers, William L. Joseph I., Danny R., Glen L., Arthur C., Walter L., Jerry F., and Benny C. Mrs. SMITH was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Funeral services for William "Frank" STOTTLEMYRE, 82, of Cookson were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cookson United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Marilyn Schellhamer officiating. Burial was at 3 p.m. Monday at Prague City Cemetery, under the direction of hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah. Mr. STOTTLEMYRE was born June 15, 1917, in Anita, Iowa, to Oscar Ellsworth and Alice May (OSMAN) STOTTLEMYRE. He died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, in Tahlequah. He married Augusta MIZERA July 16, 1940, in Prague. She preceded him in death Sept. 11, 1922. Survivors include his sister, Rosalie .; one brother, Clyde; and friends. Mr. STOTTLEMYRE was also preceded in death by one son, Mike STOTTLEMYRE; three sisters, Bertha TURNER, Elsie SHOPE and Edna Mae RODEBUSH; and one brother, Cecil STOTTLEMYRE.

She died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married John BARNES March 10, 1999, in Sacramento, Calif. Survivors include her husband, John BARNES of the home; two daughters, Geneva and Carla; seven sons, Orvil, Jimmie, Johnny Jr., David, Tom Robert and Mike; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jewell and Lorene; and two brothers, Elbert and James.

Graveside services for Karen Gaye BURLING, 49, of Oklahoma City were held at 1 p.m. Friday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Brian Zinck officiating. Mrs. BURLING was born July 12, 1950, in Edmond, to Tim PETERS and Helen (NESBILL) PETERS STACK. She died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include her husband, Glen BURLING of Oklahoma City; one son, Kevin; her mother, Helen; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Graveside services for Johnny CAPEHART, 76, of Arkoma are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roland City Cemetery. Mr. CAPEHART died  Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, Ruth of the home; two daughters, LaRita and Becky; three sisters, Virginia, Iva and Francis; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements ae under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.  

Funeral services for Carl Donald FRIX Jr., 77, of Muskogee were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Muskogee, with Dr. David Becker officiating. Entombment will follow at the Mousoleum of Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, under the diretion of Bradley Funeral service in Muskogee. Mr. Frix was born March 6, 1922, in Stigler to Edith (JOHNSON) and Carl FRIX Sr. He died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999. Mr. FRIX married Priscilla Dean LOWE in 1950. Survivors include his wife, Priscilla FRIX; two sons, Gary and Kem; one daughter-in-law, Paige; five grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Ann; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Naomi and Lora, and L.B. and Helen; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mr. FRIX was preceded in death by one son, Dr. Carl Donald FRIX II; his parents; and one brother Billy Joe FRIX.   

Funeral services for Betsy (WILDCAT) JONES, 72, of Gore were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Gore High School gymnasium, with the Rev. Allison Phillips officiating. Burial was in Webber Cemetery in Notchietown, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls. A wake service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Notchietown. Mrs. JONES was born Feb. 25, 1926, in Notchietown, to Charldee WILDCAT and Dargie (BUSTER) WILDCAT. She died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999, in Muskogee. Survivors include her husband, Johnson SMITH of the home; her children, David, Phyllis, Betsy Annette, Robert "Tiger" Jr.; one sister, Lillie; one brother, Jess; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; Mrs. JONES was preceded in death by one son, Charles MARSHALL, and one granddaughter, Tina Rachell MARSHALL.

Mrs. JONES was born Dec. 9, 1911, in Caney, to Lewis Leland MITCHELL and Flavis Ethel (YEAGER) MITCHELL. She died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in Poteau. She married Herbert William JONES Aug. 21, 1926, in Tyro, Kan. He preceded her in death March 15, 1993. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Lee and Myrle, and Georgia A. and Marshall; one son and daughter-in-law, Herbert Walter and Wilma; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ellen; and two brothers, Lewis Leland Jr. and George Warren. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Ray N. McEVER, 66, of Bethany were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Council Road Baptist Church. Burial was in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Smith and Kernke Funeral Directors in Oklahoma City. Mr. McEVER was born April 26, 1933, in Broken Bow. He died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; his children, Rick and Michele, Rob and Jan, and Jeannie and Mark; five grandchildren; shis siblings, Jimmy, Jerry, and Rodney; several Sallisaw residents;  Mr. McEVER was preceded in death by his birth parents, Gladys (ANDERSON) and Burl BATSON; his adoptive parents, Missouri (ANDERSON) and Bob McEVER; and his siblings, Kenneth ANDERSON, Frank McEVER, and Zona RICHARDSON.

Graveside services for Robert Lee PATRICK, 81, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, with the Rev. John Maxwell of Saints George and Alexandra Orthodox Church officiating.  Mr. PATRICK died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in a local hospital.  Survivors include is wife, Katina Loris PATRICK; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Wayne, Gail and Robert E. and Jane and John H.; two granddaughters and one grandson;  three great-grandchildren;several nieces Arrangements were under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

Graveside services for Jessie Ruth SCHEUERMAN, 72, of Gans were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Mrs. SCHEUERMAN was born Jan. 1, 1927, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Jessie Dennis FULLER and Elois WRAY FULLER. She died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in Roland. Survivors include two sisters, Facilla and Neata; two brothers, Jerry Lee and Larry Joe; and several  nieces and nephews. Mrs. SCHEUERMAN was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon P. SCHEUERMAN in 1967, and one brother, Dennis FULLER in 1974.

Deloris APPLEWHITE, 55,   of Rogers, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 12w, 1999, at Bentonville Manor Nursing Home in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Sept. 20, 1944, in Sallisaw, to Eugene and Hazel McMAHAM SUTTERFIELD.  Survivors include two sons, Josh and Gerald; two daughters, Karen and Nita; 10 brothers and sisters; and eight grandchildren. Cremation is under the direction of Burnes Funeral Home in Bentonville.

Funeral services for Dorothy Mae "Granny" ATKINSON, 78, of Carlsbad, N.M., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bokoshe Methodist Church. Burial was in Miner's Cemetery in McCurtain, under the direction of Denton-Funchess Funeral Home of Carlsbad. Mrs. ATCHINSON was born Aug. 8, 1921, in McCurtain to Benjamin and Blanche (SELF) SPROUSE. She died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Donald M. ATKINSON; one son and duaghter-in-law, Kennith M. and Linda; two daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara and San, and Ray; two brothers, William G. and Horace; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Pearl DAVIS, 93, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, with the Rev. Steve Connelly officiating. Mrs. DAVIS was born April 1, 190, in Vian Oklahoma, Indian Territory, to Squirrel and Nannie (BOLIN) FIELDS. She died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in Vian. Survivors include two nieces, Edna and Sadie; four nephews, Sam Ed., Billy Joe, Norman and Charley; and several great-nieces and nephews. Mrs. DAVIS was preceded in death by her husband, Alex DAVIS. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Ouita Pearl Jean HUGHES, 63, of Roland died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, in a local nursing home. Survivors include two sisters, Jo Leta and Frankie; and one brother, Jerry. Cremation was under the direction of Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

Mr. KENNEDY was born July 9, 1920, in Vian, to Richard and Pearl (ANDERSON) KENNEDY. He died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, in Pocola. He married Ruth A. BURROUGHS May 12, 1951, in Pickett, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Ruth A. KENNEDY of the home; three daughters, Carol and Connie and Mary ; two sons, Richard and Larry Jo; 12 grandchildren; and one sister, Betty. . Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Opal THOMPSON MARTIN, 74, of Wichita, Kan. formerly of Vian, are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Blackgum Harvest Time Temple, with the Revs. Chris Armer and Alden Ruckman officiating.  Burial is in Box Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls. Mrs. MARTIN was born Jan. 17, 1925, in Vian, to Johnny RAY and Ellis Catherine (HALLMARK) RAY. She died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in Hayesville, Kan. Survivors include her husband, Jessie MARTIN of the home; children, Donald, Robert, Nina, Webster, Michael, David, Curtis, and Mickey; two brothers, Floyd and Melvin; six sisters, Essie, Bessie, Catherine, Betty, Minnie and Becky; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. MARTIN was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley CRUM, in 1992.

National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Mr. MITCHELL died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Edith of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law, Rena Nicole and Jason, and Lindsay; one son, Cody Andrew; his mother, Iva Clarious; two sisters, Betty and Sue; two brothers, Lonnie and Thomas; and one grandchild, Dagen Marshall Aaron.

Funeral services for Mary L. PRICE, 95, of Hartshorne are being held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mills Fuenral Home Chapel in Hatshorne, with the Rev. Douglas Brown officiating. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery, under the direction of Mills Fuenral Home. Mrs. PRICE was born Oct. 22, 1903, in Terrel, Texas, to Joe and Mary (PHILLIPS) BAILEY. She died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in a McAlester nursing home. She married Charles Gran "Bud" PRICE in 1922 in Holdenville. He preceded her in death in 1965. Survivors include three sons, Jack, Gene, and Joe; two daughters, Lorene, Juanita; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. PRICE was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Connie PRICE in 1965; one son, Carrol PRICE on Oct. 3, 1999; and one sister, Allie NICKELS in 1972.

Funeral services for Rick RAIGOZA, 54, of Stigler, formerly of Sallisaw, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mallory Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler. Burial will be in Mountain Home Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler. Mr. RAIGOZA was born June 25, 1945, in Sallisaw, to Alberto Brady RAIGOZA and Leatrice (HOLCOMB) RAIGOZA. He died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, in Midwest City. Mark Allen THOMISON, 32, of Hope, Kan., formerly of Sequoyah County, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999, northeast of Hope, as a result of a farm accident. He was born Dec. 28, 1966, in Wichita, Kan. to Clifford Starling THOMISON and Edna Ida May (CANADY) THOMISON. Mr. TOMISON was a farm hand. Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home; two stepdaughters, Jennifer and Jessica; one sister, Peggy; three brothers, Phillip, George and Lyle; seven nieces; and many great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Lester Lee ROBINSON, 73, of Sallisaw were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Mr. ROBINSON was born Oct. 30, 1925, in Humonsville, Mo., to George Washington ROBINSON and Jessie Lee (MOLDER) ROBINSON. He died Friday, October 22, 1999, in Sallisaw. He married Goldie Mae GRANT in 1946 in Fort Smith. She preceded him in death in 1992. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Elvera June and James; one son, George; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Goldie, Nadine, Margie and Glesner; and one brother, Joe. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for retired Oklahoma Highway Patrolman and Clinton City Police Chief B.D. "Bill" WEEDON, 69, of Clinton, formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Oct. 20, at the First United Methodist Church in Clinton, with the Revs. Larry King, Bennie Waller and Clayton Hughes officiating.  Burial was at 2 p.m. in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Vici, under the direction of Stanley-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton. Mr. WEEDON was born Oct. 5, 1930, in Englewood, Kan., to Jessie Lee WEEDON and Hazel Augusta (FORD) WEEDON. He died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife, Ahlois of the home; two sons, and daughters-in-law, Billy Lee and Perrie Beth, and Rick and Jill; one daughter and son-in-law, Gayla and Doug; one sister, Betty; one brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Sibil; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jess WILDCAT, 83, of Gore were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. L. B. Wildcat officiating. Burial was in Webber Cemetery in Notchietown, under the direction of Millsap Funeal Service in Webbers Falls. Mr. WILDCAT was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Notchietown, to Charldee and Dargie (Buster) WILDCAT. He died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, in a Gore nursing home. Survivors include one sister, Lillie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for William J. L. GARNER, 81, of Roland were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Mr. GARNER died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, in Roland. Survivors include one daughter, Norma Sue; one son, Cecil; two sisters, Joe Edna and Helen; three brothers, Roy, Alex, and Marvin; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
