Funeral services for Joyce Inez KILLION of Sallisaw, Oklahoma was born June 23, 1926, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Dock and Ethel (WITHROW) ROGERS and passed away September 25, 2009, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 83. She is survived by; one son Lowell Dale; one sister Grace; one brother, Garland and wife, Nita; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; two sisters, Louise and Lois ROGERS and three brothers, Barney, Raymond and Millard ROGERS.

Shirley (DUBACH) RAINES , 81, was born December 12, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Irene Napier. Mrs. RAINES passed this life on September 27, 2009 in Vian, Oklahoma. Survivors include two sons and one daughter -in-law: Frank, Gregory and Jeri; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren

Graveside services for Irma A GIBSON, 91, were held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 1 pm. at Memorial Park Cemetery Enid, Oklahoma . With Rev. Velmer Goebel officiating..  Mrs. Irma A. GIBSON was born February 19, 1918 in Fairmont, Oklahoma, the daughter of Martin F. MITTELSTAEDT and Helena (MEYER) MITTELSTAEDT. She married Cordova Arthur "Gib" GIBSON on November 10, 1935 in Fairmont, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2002 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. GIBSON passed this life on September 24, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Survivors include one daughter: Karen Marie; one grandson; one granddaughter; four great grandchildren; one brother, Robert; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends

Funeral services for James "Frog" SMITH, 70, were held Thursday, October 1, 2009, at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, Ok., with Rev Magellan O'Neal officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Burial was in Czarnikow Cemetery.  James "Frog" SMITH was born January 6, 1939 in Blue Mouse community, Oklahoma, the son of Willie SMITH and Eva (BREWER) SMITH. Mr. SMITH passed this life on September 28, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Survivors include three daughters: Angela, Kelly and Shelly; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers: Billy and Leo; He was preceded in death by his parents,  Willie and Eva SMITH, one grandchild, Cole SOUTHERLAND  and one brother: Fred SMITH.

Graveside services for Harry SCOUFOS, 66, were held at Box Cemetery, north of Vian, Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 11 a m, with Dr David Clewell officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  Mr. Harry SCOUFOS was born August 17, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Ok., the son of Harry SCOUFOS, Jr. and Alice (LYLE) SCOUFOS. He married Lucretia (CHAPMAN) SCOUFOS in 1969 and had one son, Fourth.. On January 1, 1995, he married Valda G. (GRIDER) SCOUFOS in San Antonio, Tx. Mr. SCOUFOS passed this life on September 27, 2009 in Vian, Ok. . Survivors are: wife: Valda of the home; one son and daughter in law: Fourth and Dr. Jennifer; two grandsons; mother: Dr. Alice CARY; one brother: Raymond Douglas; several other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his father: Harry SCOUFOS, Jr.

Funeral services for Lonnie E WILSON, 66, were held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 10 a m at the Oakridge Assembly of God Church in Salliaw, with Rev Gary Mullen, under the direction of Agnets Funeral Home in Salliaw.  Lonnie E. WILSON was born December 22, 1942 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the son of Howard Lonnie WILSON and Fannie (DUVALL) WILSON. He married Parma Elaine (WILKINS) WILSON on April 23, 1960 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Mr. WILSON passed this life on September 27, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Survivors include his wife, Parma of the home; two daughters, Tonya and Tyya; one son and daughter in law Lonnie and Tanya; four grandchildren; three brothers, Charles, J.T. and Dennis two sisters, Peggy and Judy;  He was preceded in death by his parents: Howard and Fannie WILSON and one sister: Darlene TAYLOR.

Funeral services for John E FULCE, 82, were held at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Muldrow on Saturday 26, 2009 at 10 a m, with  Rev Bill Sagely officiating. Burial was in Lee's Chapel Cemetery. Mr. John E. FULCE was born Jan. 26, 1927 in Kilmichael, Ms., the son of Jim Tom FULCE and Lucy (BEASON) FULCE. He was married to Marguerite Irene (GALLOWAY) FULCE on Jan. 5, 1954 in Poteau, Ok. She preceded him in death on Oct. 31, 1990 in Ft. Smith, Ar. He passed this life on Sept. 24, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Ar. Survivors inclue two daughters and one son-in- law,  Annette and David, and Lori;  four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Dave and wife, Helen,  and Frank and wife, Genell; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by wife, parents, two sisters, Cleo and Verlie, two brothers, Otha and Bobby, grandson: Dewayne WORKMAN, son in law: Jerry WEST, sister-in-law: Pauline SAGELY and brother in law: Paul GALLOWAY.

Mr. PRUITT passed this life on September 23, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. Survivors include one nephew, Donald and his wife, Aroonrak; two nieces, Diana and husband, Steve, and Michaelann and husband, John;  one sister-in-law, Linda; three great nephews; one great niece;two great great nieces; He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Walter Ervin PRUITT.

Anthony Williams, officiating. Shannon Bryan "Buzz" SOUTHERN was born January 11, 1989 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the son of William Bryan "Billy" SOUTHERN and Tammy Renee (LEWIS) SOUTHERN. Mr. SOUTHERN passed this life on September 22, 2009 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Survivors include his parents: Billy and Tammy SOUTHERN; one brother: Austin; grandparents: Bill and Marie SOUTHERN, Kenny and Suzie LEWIS, and the late Joyce H. LEWIS; aunts and uncles: Lisa, Steven and Sherry, Anna and John, Joe and Debbie; several cousins and other relatives and friends.

Burial is in Liberty Cemetery. Louella Morgan STAMPS was born February 1, 1935 in Leveland, Texas, the daughter of Whit MORGAN and Elsie BULLOCK MORGAN. She married Herbert Leon STAMPS on April 1, 1956 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1995 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. STAMPS passed this life on September 25, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Survivors include two daughters and one son in law, Tina and Dudley, and Louise and companion Greg; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four sisters: Joyce, Kathy, Regina, and Linda; five brothers, Carl, Harvey, Edmond, Glen and Joe; several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends She was preceded by her husband: Leon STAMPS and her parents: Whit and Elsie MORGAN.

Burial will be in Chuculate Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BOUDREAU was born July 11, 1949, in Tahlequah, to Felix PROCTOR and Louella (GONZALIS) PROCTOR. She died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Gail and her husband, Richard Stokes, and Kimberly Jo and her companion, Joshua; two brothers, Robert and Carl; a host of family and friends; She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, DeWayne PROCTOR and Charles PROCTOR.

Funeral services for F.M. “Boo” HEFLEY, 79, of Gore, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gore United Methodist Church in Gore with the Revs. Troy Clinesmith, Bill Buttram, Mark Howard and Craig Clark officiating. Mr. HEFLEY was born March 8, 1930, in Webbers Falls, to Maxie Ellis HEFLEY and Charlotte Allene (CARTER) HEFLEY. He died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Dorothy FIELDS, Jan. 4, 1950, in Van Buren, Ark. She preceded him in death, Jan. 28, 2005, in Gore  Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Donna, and Deborah and Keith; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia; one brother, Carl; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bob and Charles Wahoo HEFLEY.

Mr. HENSLEY was born Aug. 4, 1923, in Stilwell, to James William HENSLEY and Easter Lillie (WILSON) HENSLEY. He died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, in Sallisaw. He married Mary PAYNE, Aug. 28, 1945, in Arkansas. She preceded him in death Aug. 25, 1996. Survivors include his companion, Louise; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sue and Bob, Marilyn and Ken, and Melva; one son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Lori; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Bernice and Maygene; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other realatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela JAMISON, two sons, Marty and Dennie HENSLEY and his parents.

Mrs. LOWRIMORE was born Dec. 25, 1922, in Charleston, Ark., to Gusto MAIER and Childa Pearl (SHARP) MAIER. She died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, in Spiro. She married Marion Samuel LOWRIMORE, Sept. 22, 1943, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Marion of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Bernice and Van; one son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Linda; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Clara and Josephin; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth; and a host of friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Justin LOWRIMORE, one great-grandson, Colton J. Mize LOWRIMORE, four sisters, Edith GOODMAN, Vivian MANTOOTH, Judy CLARK and Janie THIGPEN and one brother, George MAIER.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce PHELAN of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Darrell and Betty, Roger and Sandy, and Michael; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; eight sisters, Marian, Janie, Susie, Judy, Mary, Sally, Rita and Joan; three brothers, Leon, T.J. and Johnny; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Mr. ROGERS was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Mineral Springs, to James Madison ROGERS and Nettie (Stella) ROGERS. He died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Helen WOOD, Feb. 1, 1944, in Sallisaw. She preceded him in death Jan. 21, 2000, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Deanna, and Joetta and Rev. Jimmy; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Dennis and Rita, Marty and Amy, and Mickey and Cindy; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Artie and Louise; two brothers, Ted and George Washington; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Burial is in Flute Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. SCRAPPER was born July 14, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, to Jim Guppy and Flora OLIVER. She died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Jed SCRAPPER of the home; one daughter, Brandy and her husband, Christopher; two sons, Jimmy and his wife, Kim, and Zachary; one step-son, Justin; parents, Jim and Flora GUPPY; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. SMITH was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Sallisaw, to Millard Austin MORRIS and Fannie (DUVAL) MORRIS. She died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Robert Francis SMITH, May 26, 1972, in Alice, Texas. He preceded her in death, May 3, 2002, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one sister, Margaret; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services for Anita Jean SUMMITT, 54, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bluffton Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Stacy officiating, under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Dardanelle, Ark. Mrs. SUMMITT was born June 27, 1955, in California, to Robert L. and Nina (ADAIR) HUDSON. She died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Eugene SUMMITT; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Steven; two sons, Josh, and Jeremy and fiancé, Katie;  nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts and uncles.

Adelheid Nancy BRANTLEY TOY, 52, of Sallisaw, died on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009. No formal service is planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. TOY was born June 11, 1957, in Augsburg, Germany, to Lester J. and Heidi K. BRANTLY. Survivors include her husband, Kevin M. TOY; daughter, Alana K.; mother, Heidi K. BRANTLEY; sister, Rose Marie and her husband, Leonard; four brothers, John and his wife, Nore, Robert, David and his wife, Sonja, and Michael and his wife, Jaime; sister-in-law, Teresa; and 15 nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Belfonte Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. EAGLE was born April1, 1966, in Tahlequah, to Richard EAGLE Sr. and Lydia (BYRD) EAGLE. He died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, in Muldrow. Survivors include his mother, Lydia EAGLE; three sisters, Brenda, Barbara and Linda; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Richard and Marcella, Jimmy and Tracy , Mike and Marsha, and Joe and Leroy; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Wilkie and G.B. EAGLE. .

Burial was in Short Mountain Cemetery, in Cowlington, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. MAXWELL was born Feb. 19, 1925, in Tucker, to Mount Etna and Flora Belle (YOCUM) MAXWELL. He died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, in Poteau. Survivors include three nephews, Jack, Larry and Harold; two nieces, Sue and Paulette; three sisters-in-law, Irene, Margaret, and Lila and her husband, Wendal ; and two brothers-in-law, Clay and his wife, Barbara, and Joe and his wife, Judeen. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Madge, one son, Dwight, two daughters, Terri and Pamela, two brothers, J.C. and Loyd MAXWELL, two nephews, Ronnie and Jerry MAXWELL and two nieces, Jean MOORE and Pat EDWARDS.

Mr. RIDDLE was born Aug. 10, 1943, in Liberty, to Jess Willard RIDDLE and Dessie Arzona (CASTEEL) RIDDLE. He died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Brenda Jean PALMER, April 8, 1963, in Stilwell. Survivors include his wife, Brenda RIDDLE of the home; one daughter and one son-in-law, Lisa and Danny; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Steve, and Robby and Shellie; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Christine and Cletis; two brothers, Jess Murl and Carl; and a host of nieces, nephews and other realtives and friends. Burial will be in the Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. STEVENSON was born Aug. 5, 1920, in Van Buren, Ark., to Alex STEVENSON and Ida WILLIS. He died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, in Crown Point. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Miller BOWERS; two daughters, Stephanie and Shannon; one sister, Edice Ann; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Survivors include her husband, Ray; one daughter, Rebecca; one son, James Edward; parents, Mary Ann and Lonnie MITCHELL Sr.; one sister, Linda; two brothers, Lonnie Jr. and Tommy; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Marland Dale FLOYD, 75, of Ponca City, formerly of Akins, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Worship Center of the First Baptist Church with Russell Aday officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. Mr. FLOYD was born July 14, 1934, in Akins, to E.W. and Beulah Vesta (WICKETT) FLOYD. He died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, in Ponca City. He married Mary Lou CHASTAIN, Sept. 6, 1953. Survivors include two sons, Michael Dale and Mark and his wife, Nadine; two grandchildren; two grandsons; one brother, Dr. Don; one sister, Mary Ellen; and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one infant brother, Bobby.

Burial was in Lee’s Chapel Cemetery, in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. HOLLOMAN was born Oct. 26, 1930, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Archie Lee HOLLOMAN and Nellie Myrtle (CLARK) HOLLOMAN. He died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, in Fort Smith. He married Mildred Faye GREEN, June 30, 1950, in Fort Smith. She preceded him in death, Jan. 13, 2006, in Muldrow. Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Magolee and Ray, and Jeanne; one sister-in-law, Geneva; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one son, Russ HOLLOMAN, his parents and one brother, A.W. HOLLOMAN.

Mrs. HOOVER was born April 6, 1936, in Webb City, Ark., to Walter Lee BEARDEN and Lorene WINKLES. She died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, in Roland. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy, of the home; two daughters, Shirley, and Althea and her husband, Jim; two sons, Charles Richard and his wife, Kay, and Clayton Allen and his wife, Sheila; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mr. BENGE was born Nov. 15, 1976, at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nev., to Linda and Gary HORTON. He died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, in Nashville, Tenn. Mr. BENGE was a 1995 graduate of Sallisaw High School, a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2004. He was an accomplished musician, mastering seven instruments, and a top salesman for the Nissan Corporation. Survivors include his parents, James and Linda BENGE of Sallisaw; one brother and his wife, SSgt. Patrick J. HORTON USMC and Crystal HORTON and their son, Spencer; two sisters, Tonda BENGE of London, England and Michelle BENGE JONES and her seven sons, Robert, Joshua, Brandon, Braydon, Sean, DJ and Austin of Stockton, Calif.; grandmother, Betty Jean BENGE of Sallisaw; aunts and uncles, Cathy and Max MUTERSPAUGH, Indianapolis, Ind., Emily and Charles BARRIENTOS, Midway, Ga., Carol MILLER SPARKS, Nev., Ernest BENGE of Oroville, Calif. and Michael BENGE of Sallisaw; and many cousins.
