Funeral services for Malcom Ward COOPER, 86, of  Muldrow, formerly of Seminole, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Seminole, with Dr. Kelvin Mosley officiating.  Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, under the direction of Swearington Funeral Home in Seminole.  Mr. COOPER was born June 20, 1912, in Columbia, Miss., to Cornelius Vanderbilt COOPER and Ida June (WARD) COOPER.  He died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 19998, in Fort Smith. He married Lela Mae HOWARD March 2, 1934.  Survivors include his wife, Lela Mae COOPER of the home; three sons, Malcolm H., Jerry and Jimmy; three daughters, Nelda, Sandra  and Ardath; one brother, Ted; two sisters, Sarah and Ruth; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Edward "Ed" Julius HICKELHEIM, 79, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Blackgum, with  the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating.  The body will be cremated under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. HICKELHEIM was born Feb. 22, 1919, in St. Louis, Mo., to Edward and Ellen (LEIZENBY) HICKELHEIM. He died Thursday, Oct.29, 1998, at his home.  He married Kay WILSON May 9, 1957, in St. Louis. Survivors include his wife, Kay HICKELHEIM of the home; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Edna and David, Ella and Jerry, and Gail, Robin and David, and Tammy and Charlotte; two  sons and daughters-in-law, Edward "Skip" and Gracie and Kelly and Sherry; 17  grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Violet and Leona; and other brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Bertie Ellen WALLACE RIGGS, 92, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Maple Freewill Baptist Church, near Muldrow, with the Revs. Lloyd Summerhill, Dale Doss and Kendall Ross officiating.  Burial was in Maple Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. RIGGS was born Nov. 21, 1905, in the Maple community, Sequoyah District, Oklahoma, Indian Territory, to  John Wesley WALLACE and Rosie Mildred (NORMAN) WALLACE.  She died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at her home.  She married James Walter RIGGS July 10, 1926, in the Maple community. He preceded her in death March 4, 1995, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Arvel; one son and daughter-in-law, Wadie Lee and Patsy; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances and Reecie; and one brother, Lonzo.  Mrs. RIGGS was also preceded in death by one son, Edmond ROSS, April 28, 1997, in Fort Smith.

Funeral services for Ruby M. SUTER, 73, of Bonanza, Ark., are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Ark.  Burial is in White Bluff Cemetery in Bonanza, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.  Mrs. SUTER died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two daughters, Twana June and Marilyn; four sons, Larry Gean, Billy Joe, Charles Ray  and Bobby Allen; one sister, Cecelia; two  brothers, Cecil and Lewis; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jean TACKETT, 58, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the  Revs. Mike McKinney and Al Ruckman officiating.  Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. TACKETT was born July 31, 1940, in Grenada, Miss., to Wayne COLE and Ruby (YIELDING) COLE.  She died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Tom TACKETT Jan. 20, 1956, in Calhoun City, Miss. Survivors include her husband, Tom TACKETT of the home; two daughters, Janet Carol and Teresa Lynn; one grandson; one sister, Geraldine; two nephews; three nieces; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. TACKETT was preceded in death by one brother, Chester W. COLE.

Funeral services for Noma Lee FULLBRIGHT, 86, of Hatwell, Ga., were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Brian Zinck officiating.  Burial was in Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. FULLBRIGHT was born June 4, 1912, in the Maple community, to John and Carrie (KELTON) TAYLOR.  She died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, in Royston, Ga.  She married Floyd Franklin FULLBRIGHT May 8, 1935, in Webbers Falls.  He preceded her in death June 15, 1990.  Survivors include one son, Danny; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Venita; and two brothers, Tom Cass and Jack. Mrs. FULLBRIGHT  was also preceded in death by one son, Billy Mack FULLBRIGHT, and one brother, Clayton TAYLOR.

Funeral services for Velva Okla GRINSTEAD, 77, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mrs. GRINSTEAD was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Perry, Ark., to Horace Greeley LONG and Mattie Dell (BRYANT) LONG. She died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married William Vern GRINSTEAD on April 21, 1938, in Russellville, Ark. He preceded her in death Dec. 14, 1995. Survivors include three daughters, Tava, Shirley and Lee; one son, Ralph ; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ocie and Odessa .

Funeral services for William Leonard LEAF, 74, of Wichita, Kan., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary in Wichita.  Burial was in White Chapel Cemetery in Wichita, under the direction of Smith Family Mortuaries in Wichita.  Mr. LEAF  was born March 18, 1924, in Pitcher, to Charley and Jula Adeline Belle (YOUNG) LEAF.  He died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, in Wichita.  Survivors include his wife, Alma; one son, Steve; one daughter, Kathie; step-father, Roy; three brothers, Richard, Frank and Donald; two sisters, Loretta and Doris; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Freck "Glenn Utah" MILLER, 77, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Mr. MILLER was born July 9, 1921, in the Miller Ridge community, to Irene MILLER. He died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998, in Sallisaw. He married Clara Bell HARRELL June 1, 1977, in Poteau. Survivors include his wife, Clara B. MILLER of the home; four daughters, Kwajalein, Quannee , Cherokee and Chyma Leigh .; two sons, Shawnee and Karin .; two step-daughters, Carolyn and Marilyn ; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three half sisters, Lois, Patsy and Robbie .Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Merel RITTER, 74, of Blackgum  are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Blackgum, with the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating.  Burial is in Box Cemetery, north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. RITTER  was born Oct. 6, 1924, in Blackgum, to Albert Birch RITTER and Lela Ethel (MCFARLAND) RITTER.  He died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, in Sallisaw.  He married Lahoma Virginia FAULK Feb. 27, 1946, in Reno, Nev.  Survivors include his wife, Lahoma RITTER of the home; two daughters, Letha  and Trina; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilma  and Ruby; and five brothers,  Lovely, Gerald, Lynn, Glyn, and T. J.  Mr. RITTER was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman RITTER and Billy RITTER.

Funeral services for Clessie CHOATE SHORT, 84, of Blackgum are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Blackgum, with the Revs. Gary Hamby and Dale Ritter officiating. Burial is in Box Cemetery, north of Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. SHORT  was born Feb. 18, 1914, in the Blackgum community, to Samuel David CHOATE and Elsie Elizabeth (MILAM) CHOATE.  She died Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, in Gore.  She married Grover Cleveland SHORT. He preceded her in death Nov. 24, 1988. Survivors include two sons, Sam and Paul; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Liley, Alice, Golda and Jean; and one brother, Cooie. Mrs. Short was also preceded in death by one son, Grover Cleveland SHORT Jr. in 1941.

Graveside services for Maurice "Dude" STORY, 70, of Parsons, Kan., are being held at 2 p.m.  Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons, with the Rev. Kathleen Ketchell Ferris officiating.  Mrs. STORY  was born Jan. 7, 1928, in Goodnight, Texas, to William M. DAVES and A. Maude (PATCHELL) DAVES.  She died Sunday Nov. 1, 1998, at the Labette County Medical Center.  She married William V. STORY on May 31, 1946, in Albuquerque, N.M.  Survivors include her husband, William V. STORY of the home; one son, Vance; five granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; and three sisters, Anne, Lucy and Billie.  Mrs. STORY was preceded in death by one son, Jerry on April 16, 1993, and five brothers and three sisters. Arrangements are under the direction of Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons.

Graveside services for Edman Jr. SULLIVAN, 75, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Buffington Cemetery, west of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Freddie Howard officiating.  Mr. SULLIVAN was born Jan. 3, 1923, in Oklahoma, to John and Pearl (WOLF) SULLIVAN.  He died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998, in Sallisaw. He married Betty L. BAUGH Jan. 26, 1993, in Ada.   Survivors include his wife, Betty SULLIVAN of the home and one cousin, Milton.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Ellen WILSON, 73, of Eufaula were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester, with the Rev. Jim White officiating.  Burial was in Tannehill Cemetery, under the direction of Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.  Mrs. WILSON was born Oct. 6, 1925, in Richville, to Manley F. SPARKS and Beulah (MCDOUGAL) SPARKS. She died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, in Tulsa. She married Oren Wilson Feb. 14, 1972, in McAlester. He preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1982. Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Verdon and Marjorie and Art; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John "J. O." and Allie, Bill and Maxine, and Verlon and Jo; and two step-children, Bob and Gary.

Funeral services for Mary Dixie WISDOM, 78, of Lubbock,  Texas, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at White Memorial Chapel in Lubbock, with the  Rev. Jim Gertl officiating. Burial was in City of Lubbock Cemetery, under the direction of White Funeral Home in Lubbock.Mrs. WISDOM was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Sipe Springs, Texas, to Gray Walter and Nora Ethel (WILLIAMS) WATKINS. She died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, at Lubbock Hospitality House in Lubbock. She married Ted WISDOM Feb. 18, 1972. He preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1979.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Kay and Larry B.; five grandsons, and seven great-grandchildren.Mrs. WISDOM was preceded in death by one son, Mike MCDONALD in April 1995.

Burial was in Liberty Cemetery, north of Roland, under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. BARNES was born Oct. 22, 1929, in Sallisaw, to Noah Dallas BARNES and Golda Lee (LONG) BARNES. He died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen BARNES of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Valley; one son and daughter-in-law, David P. and Brenda; three sisters, Sophia , Beatrice and Mildred; five brothers, Eddie ,Robert , Easter, Earl and Dale ; four grandchildren; and one uncle, Jimmy.

Funeral services for Jacqueline Laverne COLLINS, 43, of Roland were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with the Revs. Daniel Clayton and Brown officiating. Burial was in Lattimore Cemetery, south of Roland, under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. COLLINS was born Jan. 22, 1955, in Roland, to Jesse COLLINS Jr. and Dovie Mae (SHEPARD) COLLINS. She died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. Survivors include her mother, Dovie Mae COLLINS; three sisters, Virginia, Veretta, and Vicky; and three brothers, James, Robert D. and Keith.

Funeral services for Jess F. CORDER, 94, of Webbers Falls were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lake road Church of Christ in Gore, with Harvey Young officiating.  Burial was in White Cemetery in Gore under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. CORDER was born Nov. 15, 1903, in Hedgar, Ark., to Dave and Emma CORDER. He died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1998, at the Gore Nursing Home. He married Mae HENDRIX March 21, 1926, in Webbers Falls. Survivors include his wife Mae CORDER of the home; his children, Lark, George, Avon, Aleta, Flora Bell,Betty Jo; 27 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Burial was in Gans City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral home in Muldrow. Mr. COWAN  was born May 20, 1913, in Gans, to Benjamin Franklin COWAN and Bessie ESTELLE (LUTHER) COWAN. He died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his former wife and friend, Anna Jo; two daughters, Sally and Sheryl; three sons, Larry, Wayne and Thomas; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Lillian; and one brother, Leonard.

Bobby Mason officiating.  Burial is in Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mr. DeWITT was born March 22, 1922, in Booneville, Ark., to John Lewis DeWITT and Sarah (TIDWELL) DeWITT. He died Monday, Nov. 9, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He married Myrtle Mae RIDDLE Oct. 14, 1950, in Fort Smith. She preceded him in death Aug. 5, 1994. Survivors include four daughters, Frances, Linda, Mary Kaye and Carolyn; one son, Doyle; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Lois Glen FRIZZELL, 81, of Heavener were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park in Heavener.  Mr. FRIZZELL died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, in the Muskogee Veterans Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Johnny, Glenn and Mike; two brothers, D. B. and Reno; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  Arrangements were under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home in Heavener.

Graveside services for Talforn Curtis LOLLIS, 74, of Napa, Calif., were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 15 at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa.Mr. LOLLIS was born March 1, 1924, in Blackgum, to John and Madge LOLLIS and was the nephew of the late Verda COLLINS. He died Monday, Aug. 10, 1998, in Napa.Survivors include two sons, Jerry and Dennis; two sisters Glendora and Nema; two brothers, Lodie and Troy; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Arrangements were under the direction of Richard Pierce Funeral Service in Napa.

Funeral services for Edward Eugene McELROY, 55, of Allen, Texas, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, south of Ozark, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren. Mr. McELROY died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, in Garland, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Sally McELROY of the home; two daughters, Michelle ., and Stephany; one son, Eric; his father, Russell ; three sisters, Marsha , Brenda , and Glenda ; two brothers, Bruce and Don; one grandchild, Nicole; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Melvin Kenneth ROBERTS, 35, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Northside Church of God in christ in Fort Smith. Burial is in Washington Cemetery in Fort Smith.  Mr. ROBERTS died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, in a Pine Bluff, Ark., hospital.  Survivors include one son, Kenneth Bailey; his father, Samuel; four sisters, Mattie, Tracy, Tina and Samantha; and two brothers, Johnny and Cornelius.

Graveside services for Doris June WILSON, 63, of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roland City Cemetery, with the Rev. Joe Taylor officiating.  Mrs. WILSON died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998, in a local hospital. Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly; two sisters, Mary and Maxine; one brother, Ira; and four grandchildren. Mrs. WILSON was preceded in death by her husband, R. C. WILSON, and two sons, Dewayne and Michael PITZER.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

Mr. BRATULICH was born March 12, 1906, in Chicago, Ill., to August Herman BRATULICH and Mary (PELICAN) BRATULICH. He died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, in Sallisaw. He married Winifred Lucille BECKMANN Sept. 22, 1927, in Eveleth, Minn. She preceded him in death Oct. 3, 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Dawn ; one son, Albert ; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jennie ; and one brother, Henry . Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Alma P. COKER, 80, of Muldrow are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mallory Wheeler Chapel in Sallisaw, with Walter Jones officiating.  Burial is in Muldrow Garden of Memories Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. COKER was born April 13, 1918, in Mayes County, to Joseph Newton HASELWOOD and Addie (PILKINGTON) HASELWOOD. She died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at Muldrow Nursing Home.  Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Regetta Faye, and Maudie and Jimmy; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Doris; five grandchildren.

Funeral services for William Edward "Bill" McDONALD, 63, of Longview, Texas, are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Blackgum, with the Rev. Dale Ritter officiating.Burial is in Box Cemetery, north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. McDONALD was born Feb. 24, 1934, in Buffalo, N. Y., to Martin A. "Red" McDONALD and Helen (STOCKER) McDONALD. He died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, in Longview. Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Ann , Teresa Leigh , and Kellie Marie; four sons, Billy, Terry, Jimmy, and Brent; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Nancy; and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Georgia VanHooser ROUSSEAU, 84, of Gore died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, in Gore. She was born Dec. 22, 1913, in Holdenville, to George and Berta (SAMUELS) VANHOOSER.  She married Ralph ROUSSEAU,  who died in 1979.  Survivors include one sister, Joan; two brothers, Vance and Otice H.. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Services for the Rev. Dr. Eldridge L. MILLER of Sallisaw, pastor of Sallisaw's First Baptist Church for over 23 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the  church.   Dr. MILLER, 71,  died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998, in a Fort Smith, Ark. hospital.  Burial will be in the Sallisaw City Cemetery,  under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Dr. MILLER was born to Dr. George Daniel MILLER and Hazel Beatrice STONE MILLER on Jan. 24, 1927, in Nashville, Tenn.    He married former Jene Bryce SMITH on Feb. 1, 1947, at the Inglewood Baptist Church in Nashville.   Survivors include his wife, of the home; four sons, Harold S. and Joann,  Herbert D. and Angela, Robert E. , and Norman O. and Cynthia; five daughters, Rebecca and Robert L., S. Linda and Mark, Susan and Kevin J., Carol and Tod A. and Anna and Michael L.; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Robert O. ; one sister, Evelyn; and step-mother, Mary Lee.

Funeral services for Robert Perry JAMES, 57, of Grapevine, Texas, formerly of Tulsa, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in Tulsa.  Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn Chapel in Tulsa.  Mr. JAMES  was born Feb. 26, 1941, in Vian, to Elmer and Faye JAMES.  He died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, of cancer.  Survivors include his wife Shirley Kenney COLWELL JAMES; one son and daughter-in-law, D. Scott and Brenda; one daughter, Susan ; three grandchildren; four brothers, Charles, Geary, Larry and Steve; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mr. JAMES was preceded in death by his parents.

Dale Phelps officiating.  Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. BESE was born April 15, 1927, in Enid, to  Henry and Tena (GIRTSEN) KROCKER.  She died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, in Vian.   She married Alvin BESE March 2, 1947, in Enid.  He died March 28, 1989.   Survivors include three daughters, Jenifer, Diane and Renee; two sons, Dewey and Dwight; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Arlene, Cathy, Velma and Betty; and two brothers, Richard and Bobby.

Graveside services for Joanne BROWN, 58, of Lawton will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Box Cemetery, north of Vian with Bro. ALEXANDER  and Cornelia Victoria Elizabeth (HANCE) ALEXANDER.  She died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998, in Folsom, Calif.  She married Ronald BROWN July 1, 1962, in Texas.  Survivors include former husband and friend, Ron BROWN;  one daughter, Robyn; three sons, Doug, Ty Alexander and Brady; seven grandchildren; one sister, Louise; and two brothers, Wallace P. and Harvey G.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for William Arlen DECKER, 72, of Muldrow will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, with the Rev. Raymond Hood officiating.  Burial is in Cottonwood Cemetery, south of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.   Mr. DECKER  was born July 18, 1926, in Muldrow, to Lon L. DECKER and Edna (VAUGHN) DECKER. JENNINGS.   He died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at his home.   Mr. DECKER and his wife, Josephine were married Feb. 4, 1952, in  Fort Smith.   Survivors include his wife, Josephine DECKER of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Peter Arlen and Jonna; three grandchildren; one sister, Sonja; and one brother, Grover.

Funeral services for Michelle Lynne GAGE, 25,  of Roland were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.   Burial was in Roland Cemetery, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.  Miss GAGE died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in a local hospital.  Survivors include her parents, Vickie and Allen; and one brother, Tommy.

Funeral services for Dorthy LANE, 92, of Tulsa were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Iron Bridge Church, with Bro. Robert Stiles officiating.  Burial was in Iron Bridge Cemetery near Keota, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.  Mrs. Lane was born Jan. 19, 1906, in Arkansas to  Levi and Holly (SUMMER) DAVIS.  She died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998, in Tulsa.   Survivors include three daughters, Zula, Mary and Hazel; three sisters, Ada, Daisy and Mittie; two brothers, Junior and Frank; 20 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren.   Mrs. LANE was preceded in death by her husband, William "W. H." LANE,  two sons, Walter and Dee; four  grandchildren, Debbie, Duane, James and Violet; five great-grandchildren, Ricky, Mandi, Angel, Roland and Clayton and three brothers, John, Harmon and Ted DAVIS.

Graveside services for Velda Dortha LAWSON, 77, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Round Mountain Cemetery, with Dale Ritter officiating.  Mrs. LAWSON  was born July 8, 1921, in Greenwood Ark, to Willie and Lucille (HUGHES) WALKER.  She died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at Vian Nursing Home.  Survivors include her husband, Emmit LAWSON of the home; one daughter, Dortha; three sons, Richard, Bill and Jerry; two sisters, Aline and Mary; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Jerry Lee and Monroe Lowrimore officiating.  Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. LEE was born May 5, 1912, in Wilson Rock, to Lafayette and Lorena (ANDERSON) TURMAN LEE.  He died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, in Vian.   Mr. LEE and his wife, Alice Maxine were married in 1956.  She preceded him in death June 24, 1997.  Survivors include former wife and friend, Gracie LEE; eight daughters, Patsy, Betty, Margie, Jaynell, Norma, Dorothy, Gaylene and Denise; six sons, Floyd, Jerry, Jimmy, Michael, Dennis and Timothy; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Inez and Ruby; and one brother, Carl.

Polvado and Monroe Lowrimore officiating.  Burial was in Akins Cemetery,  northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.   Mrs. LOWRIMORE  was born July 29, 1958, in Sallisaw, to Bill Gordon RICHARDSON and Juanita Louise (BRYANT) RICHARDSON.  She died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.   She married Ronnie Dean LOWRIMORE   July 22, 1982, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Dean LOWRIMORE  of the home; one daughter, Shawnda Renee; two sons, Jason and Nathan; one grandson; her parents, four sisters, Helen, Charlotte, Sandy and Janet; and one brother, Bill Ray.

Graveside services for Elmer Lee MATHEWS, 65, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Seabolt Cemetery, with Edward Baker officiating.  Mr. MATHEWS  was born Sept. 6, 1933, in Pitcher, to William and Ethel (RAY) MATHEWS.  He died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Muldrow Nursing  Home.  Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law,  Diane and Larry, and Beverly, and Karen, and Denise and Randy; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Rosemary and Kevin and Karen; one  sister, Marie; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Golda Bell MATLOCK, 91, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Mark Merrill officiating.   Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. MATLOCK  was born May 16, 1907, in Charleston, Ark., to Samuel and Rosetta (MARRIES) HENRY.  She died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, in Muldrow.  She married Edward MATLOCK Nov. 15, 1925, in Arkansas.  He preceded her in death March 8, 1967.   Survivors include one daughter, Jean; seven grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Amanda and Ola.  Mrs. MATLOCK  was also preceded in death by two sons, James MATLOCK and R. O. Samuel MATLOCK and one grandson, Eddie Joe MCCONNELL.

Funeral services for Herman Steely WORLEY, 93, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church in Sallisaw with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.    Mr. WORLEY was born Jan. 24, 1905, in Pine Knot, Ky., to Jesse and Lydia (WHITE) WORLEY.  He died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, in Sallisaw.   He married Lula Carraway BLACK Jan. 5, 1933, in Sallisaw.  She preceded him in death Nov. 24, 1995.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia Lou and David M.

Funeral services for Lavon UNDERWOOD, 73, of Lavaca, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston, Ark., with the Rev. Jack Masterson officiating.  Burial will be in Island Cemetery, east of Lavaca, under the direction of Smith Mortuary in Charleston.  Mrs. UNDERWOOD was born April 10, 1925, in Ozark, Ark., to Sam and Alfe (REEVES) THOMPSON.  She died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at her home.   Survivors include her husband, Paul "Pete" UNDERWOOD of the home; two daughters, JoAnn and Gina; one son, Paul  T.; three sisters, Deloris, Lillian and Pat;  three brothers, Thurman, Jack and Bob; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Harvell David ALLEN, 78, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Copic Baptist Church in Nicut, with the Rev. Floyd Kester officiating.   Burial is in Blackjack Cemetery, northwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.   Mr. ALLEN was born Dec. 29, 1919, in the Blackjack community, to Dave and Susie (WOODWARD) ALLEN.  He died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, at his home.  He married Minnie Marie TURNER July 21, 1941, in Fort Smith, Ark.    Survivors include his wife, Minnie  ALLEN of the home; four daughters, Velma Leona, Glenda Kay, Frances and Jeanie Marie; five sons, Douglas Ray, Bernis Harvell, Shannon Buel, B. Eual and Michael; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one sister, Aileen; one half-sister, Erma; and two half-brothers, Ernest and J. R..  Mr. ALLEN was preceded in death by one son, Lex Bernard ALLEN on May 22, 1991, in Nicut.

Funeral services for Mary Frances CUDE, 70, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Mrs. CUDE was born Dec. 17, 1927, in Corsicana, Texas, to Pete HIGHNOTE and Mary HIGHNOTE MINZE.  She died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, in Muldrow.  She married Archie T. B. CUDE Sept. 21, 1942, in Houston, Texas.  He preceded her in death Feb. 1993.   Survivors include seven daughters, Doris, Delia, Linda, Donna, Debbi, Evelyn and Frances;  three sons, Wayne, Clark "Bud", and Travis; 67 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lena; five brothers, Wayne, Keith, Marion and J. D. and several nieces and nephews. arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Robert James GREEN, 88, of Muldrow were held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, with the Revs. Dale Doss and Tim Ohls officiating.  Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mr. GREEN was born July 10, 1910, in Muldrow, to Ora Winfred GREEN and Emma Melissa (KIRK) GREEN.  He died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He married Mildred Pauline ROWLAND Dec. 17, 1929, in Fort Smith.  She preceded him in death Oct. 3, 1992.   Survivors include one daughter, Betty; two sons,  Paul and Jerry; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alta.
