Funeral services for Caroline G. ALEXANDER, 79, of Porum, are being held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel in Stigler, with the Rev. Notchie Twist officiating, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Stigler.She was born on Dec. 13, 1924, in Plattsmouth, Neb., to George and Margaret (RUETTEN) MATHIS. She died on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, in Tulsa. Survivors include her husband, Andy ALEXANDER Sr.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and her husband Robert, Janice and her husband Andrew, Marion and her husband Gary, and Mona Lisa and her husband Marvin; one son and daughter-in-law, Andy Jr. and his wife Kim; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Lena Jo ALLBAUGH, 51, of Fletcher, were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at Elgin Assembly of God Church, with the Revs. Mike Caraway of Fort Smith, Ark., and Larry Thomas officiating. Burial was in Fletcher Cemetery, under the direction of Hodge Funeral Home of Fletcher.She was born on Aug. 3, 1953, in Elgin, to George and Elizabeth ALLBAUGH. She died on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2004, in a Lawton hospital.   Survivors include two sons, Steven and James; five grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd and his wife, Allene, Wesley and his wife, Kay; two sisters, Frances and her husband Ralph, and Judy and her husband Martin; and several nephews and nieces.

Services for Glen A. ARMSTRONG, 92, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at the Vian United Methodist Church.The Rev. Vernon Lawrence officiated at the services. Interment was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under direction of the Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Military honors were provided by the Muldrow Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8384. Mr. ARMSTRONG died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, in Vian.He was born on June 5, 1912, to Robert Walker ARMSTRONG and Margaret Jane (EDMUNDSON) ARMSTRONG in Castle. He and his wife, Margaret (KING) ARMSTRONG, were married on Aug. 17, 1941, in Warner. She preceded her husband in death on Oct. 31, 2001. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Bill; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sally; one daughter-in-law, Carol; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Elvin L. CAMPBELL, 80, of Poteau, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, with the Rev. Keith Williams officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. He was born on June 30, 1924, in Bates, Ark. He died on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, in Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Cumile MINIARD on July 4, 1947. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred, Stoney and Carol, Winston and Melinda, and Harvey; daughters-in-law, Benna, Joetta and Annie; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one sister, Stella; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife on Nov. 30, 2003; two brothers, Jessie and Acey; two sisters, Laura and Zina Dale; one son, Albert; one daughter, Wilma; and two granddaughters.

Funeral services for Chester CARLSON, 77, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, with burial in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.He died on Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Margaret A. CARLSON of Fort Smith; three daughters, Sandra, Linda and Cheryl; two sons, David and Roger; two sisters, Pearl and Gladys. Mr. CARLSON was preceded in death by two sons, Chester CARLSON Jr. and Eugene CARLSON.

Monroe Lowrimore officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.He was born on Jan. 6, 1925, in Fairlee, Md., to Wilbert KENDALL and Elizabeth ANDERSON KENDALL. He died on Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, in Sallisaw. Mr. KENDALL married Lucille Julia SULLIVAN on Oct. 18, 1968, in Reno, Nev. Survivors include his wife, Lucille KENDALL of the home; three daughters, Kathleen, Julia and her husband Bobby, and Janie; five sons, Gary and his wife Stacy, and Milton, Richard, Bill  and Mike; 27 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marian and Pauline.

Survivors include his wife, Cuba KENNEDY of the home; one daughter, Debra Kay and her husband, Kenneth; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Leonard K., and Tim and his wife Louella; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Emily, Arlene, Lois and Rose Marie; two brothers, Olen and Loyd. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Willa Jean, Dorothy THOMAS, Neoma FULLER and one brother, Carl KENNEDY.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lori; two granddaughters; three sisters, Marion, Erma and Margaret; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mellie Ruth REED; and one sister, Lois RISENHOOVER.

James Berry WHITE, 79, Sallisaw, died on Sunday, Oct.31, 2004, in Sallisaw. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. WHITE was born on Jan. 7, 1925, in Sasakawa, to A.C. WHITE and Sarah (HOLLINGSHEAD) WHITE. Mr. WHITE married JoAnn STAFFORD WHITE on Jan. 7, 1950, in Holdenville. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn WHITE of the home; one daughter, Barbara; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Della.

Funeral services for Augusta Dobbs BANKSTON, 83, of Broken Arrow, longtime resident of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith. Burial were in Lee's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.She was born August 1, 1921, in Akins to Hugh and Dora Dobbs. She died Tuesday, November 2, 2004, in her home. She is survived by her daughters, Karen and Joy; sons, Timothy and Joey; brothers, Cleon and Charles; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Lee BANKSTON; six siblings, Clarence, Frank and H.D. DOBBS, Willie OGDON, Gladys HOLT and Ruby JOHNSON; four children, Alvin, Sharon, Wilma and David BANKSTON and two grandchildren, Tani and Dacia BANKSTON.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jerry; three step-sons, Alan and Judi, Delaine, and Dan and Mae; two brothers, Richard "Bill" and Isabelle, and Donald; two step-sisters, Lucille and Jane; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Marie; his parents; his step-mother, Mabel; one sister-in-law, Pat; and one step-daughter, Mary Jean.

He died Wednesday, Nov. 3 in his home. He is survived by his wife, Sally of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Dan; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Sarah; two grandchildren; and his mother, Nadine BURDETTE. Mr. GILL was preceded in death by his father, George; two brothers, Roger and Bob; and one son, John.

Survivors include two daughters, Juanita and Norene; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary; one half-sister, Edna Fay; one brother, Elmer; and three step-children, Lorraine and Roscoe and Jim. Born on Nov. 25, 1923, in Gore to George Alexander BARRICK and Emaline (HAIR) BARRICK, he died on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, in Gore. He married Sarah Imogene GREEN on June 27, 1950, in Fort Smith, Ark. She preceded him in death on June 27, 2000. Funeral services for Della Mae COKER SHACKELFORD, 82, of Roland, are being held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Trinity United Methodist Church, with Mr. Monte Johnson and Owen SHACKELFORD officiating. Burial is in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on July 25, 1922, in Muldrow, to Charles Wesley COKER and Alta Mitchell COKER. She died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married O.D. SHACKELFORD on Dec. 21, 1938, in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death by on Dec. 27, 1980. Survivors include two daughters, Judith Mae and Charlene and her husband Ken; one son, DeWayne and his wife Norma; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal and Neva; four brothers, Frank, Sid, Homer and John. She was also preceded in death by three brothers; and one sister; and one grandchild.

Funeral services for Hazel Ryan TROSPER, 83, of Redland community, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with Revs. John Wainwright and Wincell Akin officiating. Burial was in Redland Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Survivors include one daughter, Anna; one son, Joe; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry Dale TROSPER; three sisters, Elsie RYAN, Elvie RYAN and Lillie Mae LEWIS.
