Funeral services for Andrew Hobbs OSBURN, 68, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with family and friends officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. OSBURN was born on June 1, 1942, in Muskogee to Earl OSBURN and Rhoda Elvira (HOBBS) OSBURN. He died on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Sherry Margaret McDANIEL on June 21, 1962, in Stilwell. Survivors include his wife, Sherry OSBURN of the home; one daughter, Nina; two sons, Andy and Kelly; four sisters, Earlene, Judy, Lura and Betty; one brother, Don; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Pauline, Richard, Son, Dewayne and Bob.

Graveside services for Reba Sue VEST ROWLAND, 74, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating. Mrs. ROWLAND was born on June 7, 1936, in Muldrow to Otto Heston VEST and Stella May (McKINNEY) VEST. She died on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, in Muldrow. She married Earl Martin ROWLAND on Oct. 9, 1953, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2008. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Kay; two sons, Randy Mart and Charles Edward; two sisters, Virginia and Brenda; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by one son, David Wayne ROWLAND, her parents, one sister, Mary SMOTHERS and four brothers, Hubert VEST, J.R. VEST, Otto Henson VEST Jr., and Billy VEST.

Todd Ryan RUTLEDGE, resident of Ponca City, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at Ponca City. Todd was born May 7, 1986, at Sallisaw, the son of Dennis Wayne RUTLEDGE and Barbara Sue (NYKERK) RUTLEDGE. He is survived by his fiancée, Beth KELLY and their daughter, Rymingtin; Ryann; his father, Dennis RUTLEDGE and wife, Susie BARBER of Muldrow; his paternal grandfather, Bud RUTLEDGE of Westville; a sister, Talina Sue; a half-sister, Sheriden; a half-brother, Trevor Kenton Wayne; two step-brothers, Raymond and Johnny; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, his paternal grandmother, Judy MONTGOMERY and his maternal grandmother, Shirley THOMPSON. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Tabernacle Church with Pastor Don Stanton presiding. A second service will be held at Lee’s Chapel near Muldrow at 10 a.m. Thursday with burial to follow in the nearby Lee’s Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. Bobby Ray SOUTHERN, 58, of Sallisaw died on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, in Sallisaw. He was born on Sept. 9, 1952, in Sallisaw to Donald Ray SOUTHERN and Thelma Lee (HARL) SOUTHERN. No formal service is planned. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SOUTHERN was a retired police officer and corrections officer. He married Pamela Gail FOREMAN on May 21, 1987, in Hutchinson, Kan. Survivors include his wife, Pamela SOUTHERN of the home; one daughter, Amber Skye; five sons, William Charles, Michael Ray, Bobby Ray Jr., Brian Keith and Justin Ray; four sisters, Linda, Brenda, Donna and Candace; four brothers, Ronald, Donald, Bill and Steve SOUTHERN; and 21 grandchildren.

Graveside services for Craig WARREN, 94, of Roland are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark. with the Rev. Jerry Green officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. WARREN was born on Jan. 13, 1917, in Booneville, Ark., to James Arter WARREN and Jeanie Agnes (CRAIG) WARREN. He died on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, in Fort Smith. He married Geraldine J. WRIGHT on July 12, 1941, in Yuma, Ariz. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine WARREN of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jim, and Barbara and Ron; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry Dale and Brenda; three sisters, Stella, Cansada and Della; one brother, Wesley; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Lizzie HENDRIX WEBER, 99, of Gans were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gans Bible Church with the Rev. Charles Sparkman officiating. Burial was at Dutch Mills Cemetery in Dutch Mills, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WEBER was born on March 18, 1911, in Gans to Joe Edward HENDRIX and Dosha HENDRIX. She died on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, in Sallisaw. She married Louis Fount WEBER on Oct. 29, 1929, in Christie. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1979. Survivors include one daughter, Lillie; two sons, Fount and Bill; one brother, Floyd; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Goldie LASLEY, two sons, Lloyd and Charles WEBER, her parents and five brothers.

Burial is at Liberty Cemetery, north of Roland under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. MONTGOMERY was born on Jan. 23, 1933, in Liberty to Huey Josh MONTGOMERY and Glenna (USELTON) MONTGOMERY. He died on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Vickie; one son, Mark S.; five sisters, Bettye, Lavera, Margie, Mary and Joann; one brother, Ricky; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nephews, family and friends.

Mr. ARMSTRONG was born on Sept. 27, 1926, in Fort Smith to Ples ARMSTRONG and Rosie PATE.. He died on Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Roland. Survivors include his wife, Leona (PLYMATE) ARMSTRONG of the home; one daughter, Janet; one sister, Frances; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Brian Owen BRESSMAN, 45, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Bro. Jerry Cheater officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. BRESSMAN was born on Jan. 4, 1966, in Bellflower, Calif., to Glenda Carol OWENS CASTEEL. He died on Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three sons, Jamie Owen, Nicholas Aaron and Zachary Thomas; his parents, Tom and Glenda CASTEEL; three brothers, Scott, Ronald and Robert; and two grandchildren.

Deborah Jane McMAHAN FOREMAN of Sallisaw was born March 31, 1950, in Muskogee to Cleo and Melba McMAHAN and passed away Friday, March 4, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark., at the age of 60. Deborah was preceded in death by her father Cleo McMAHAN and her mother Melba McMAHAN. She is survived by two sisters, Lucinda and Merle. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mallory-Martin Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Noel officiating, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Donald Wayne HARDBARGER, 59, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Revs. Leon Rosin and Thomas Still officiating. Burial was at Chucalate Cemetery near Greasy under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. HARDBARGER was born on Jan. 21, 1952, in Tahlequah to Ellis HARDBARGER and Sarah Jane (BEAVER) HARDBARGER. He died on Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Shelly RENFRO in 1992, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Shelly HARDBARGER of the home; one daughter, Ashley; one son, Bobby; two sisters, Norma and Shirley; one brother, Raymond; five grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Imogene HARDBARGER, Ramona HARDBARGER and Geneva HARDBARGER, one brother, Junior HARDBARGER and one grandchild.

Burial was at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. KLING was born of Oct. 11, 1938, in Fayetteville, Ark., to John W. BIVENS and Marietta (BROWN) BIVENS. She died on Friday, March 4, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Danny D. KLING Sr. on Sept. 26, 1959, in Fort Smith. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2007, in Fort Smith. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and David, Teresa and Scott, and and Cindy and Farrell; one son, Danny; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, John W.; and several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandchild, Remington JENNINGS.

Patricia Ann SMITH, 63, of Sallisaw died on Thursday, March 3, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born on Oct. 4, 1947, in Greenville, S.C., to Thomas EVANS and Oregha JUSTICE. No formal service is planned and cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  Survivors include her husband, Clinton SMITH of the home; three daughters, Charlotte, Paula, and Keri; one son, Dennis; three sisters, Shirley, Dale and Jackie; one brother, Gino; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Shirley Nan SPENCE, 71, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Redland Cemetery, south of Muldrow with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. SPENCE was born on Jan. 21, 1940, in Longbranch, W.V., to Fird Nan SOWDER and Goldie May (HUMPHREY) SOWDER. She died on Monday, March 7, 2011, in Fort Smith. She married Willie Ray SPENCE on Feb. 5, 1990, in Mena, Ark. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2007. Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy “Sissy”; three sons, Jimmy, John and R. Louis; three sisters, Millie, Veda and Mary; two brothers, Marshall and Harry; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Lisa Marie PEARSON TACKETT, 45, of Gore were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chandler Road Church of Christ in Muskogee with Mr. David Ellis officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home of Muskogee. Mrs. TACKETT was born on April 7, 1965, in Muskogee to George Donald PEARSON and Norma Lou (JARRARD) PEARSON. She died on Saturday, March 5, 2011. She married Ken TACKETT in 1984. Survivors include her husband, Ken TACKETT; one son, Kolby; one daughter, Kenna; her mother; one brother, Mark and wife Gail; two sisters, Gina and husband Devin, and Donna and husband, John; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Henry Irvine HOLMES Jr., 91-year-old Checotah resident passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, in Checotah. Henry was born on Sunday, April 13, 1919, in Leakey, Texas to H.I. and Myrtle (BROOKS) HOLMES. He met, fell in love and married Inez “Youvon” GAPEN on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1944, in Crawford, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jesse HOLMES and Donald HOLMES.  Henry is lovingly survived by his wife, Youvon of the home; two daughters, Myrna and husband, Butch, and Joyce A.; one son, Roger N. and wife Delonna,; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; other extended family; and a host of friends. Funeral services for Henry were held at 1 p.m. Friday at Checotah Church of Christ with Mr. Everett Dunn officiating. Committal prayers and interment followed in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the personal direction of John Garrett.

Graveside services for James Doodle McALISTER, 69, of Roland are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roland City Cemetery with the Rev. David Johnson officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. Mr. McALISTER was born on Aug. 20, 1941, in Roland to James Lloyd McALISTER and Wilma Lorene (DANIELS) McALISTER. He died on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, in Roland. Survivors include two sons, James Lloyd and Brian; one daughter, Patsy; two stepsons, Albert and Michael; one sister, Glenda and Richard;and one brother, Gary and Linda. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his fiancé, Valerie; two daughters, Rachel and Brandi; two sons, Nathan and Aaron; two stepdaughters, Melissa and Sara; his mother; three sisters, Pat, Rosalee , and Joyce; one brother, Johnny; and 12 grandchildren.

Shawn Money officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WELCH was born on Feb. 18, 1949, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Barney ALBERTSON and Irene PRATT. She died on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, in Sallisaw. She married David Voyd WELCH on Aug. 25, 1967, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include her husband, David WELCH of the home; three sons, Daniel, Dustin and David; three sisters, Francis PARKS of Greenwood, Ark., Susan GEHRING of California and Barbara WILLIAMS of Fort Smith; three brothers, Barney, James and Michael; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Elizabeth GORDON of Vian was born Sept. 24, 1919, in Maybell to George W. and Ader Holland (FRASIER) SMITH Sr., and passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, in Vian at the age of 91. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce and husband, John, and La Fonda and husband, Warren; three sons, Joe, Gilbert wife Mary, and Darryl and wife, Annette; one sister, Leona; two brothers, Anderson Jay and wife Louella, and George W. and wife Mae; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Ada PATRICK. Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Vian Baptist Church on (64 HWY) with the Rev. T.D. Drew and the Rev. James Jones officiating. He died on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 in Tulsa. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis PARKS of the home; children, Jeane and husband, Gary, Samie Jr., Ruth, and Kenneth and wife, Marla, and Barcie and husband, Jimmy; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty and husband Kerry, and Bonnie and husband, John; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert “Bob” PARKS, Billy PARKS and Scotty PARKS.

Pat PATE Sr. was born on Aug. 15, 1931, in Wellington, Texas to Bill and Sue PATE. Pat was preceded in death by three brothers, Whit PATE, Billy Joe PATE and Jim PATE, and one grandson. Pat is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jan PATE; one brother, H.D. and Pat “Pretty”; four sons, Tom and Joleta, Davy and Charlotte, Kevin and Cindy and Pate Jr. and Leah; special daughter-in-law, Karen; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Poteau with the Rev. Phillip McGehee officiating under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Funeral services for Tommy WANN, 39, of Gore were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lighthouse Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God with the Rev. William O. Armstrong officiating. Burial was at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. WANN was born on Aug. 15, 1971, in Muskogee to Henry and Margaret (PLUNKETT) WANN. He died on Sunday, March 13, 2011, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son, Bobby Lee; his father; sisters, Theresa and James, Terrie and Danny, and Ranee and Sam; and brother, Terry and Sherry. He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Robert WANN and Timothy WANN.

Mr. CRUZ was born on Feb. 15, 1966, in Bakersfield to Felix CRUZ and Margaret Judy (MELENDEZ) CRUZ. He died on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Valerie (MASON) CRUZ; three daughters, Alexis, Jessica and Victoria; one son, Danny Jr.; one grandson; his parents; one sister, Monica; one brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Dawnie; mother-in-law, Sandra; his pet and longtime companion, Lilly; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. DARROW was born on Sept. 23, 1926, in Pike City, Ark., to Bert Z. NEVILLE and Eva Carmen NEVILLE. She died on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in Sallisaw. She married John Henry DARROW. He preceded her in death in 1962. Survivors include four daughters, Janell, Betty, Mary, and Martha; two sons, Carl and John; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Delores Jane DARROW.

Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. INMAN was born on July 14, 1946, in Jasper, Ark., to Amos JOHNSON and Martha Catherine (WILLIAMS) JOHNSON. She died on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include three sisters, Annie, Dotha and Catherine; four brothers, John, Stephen, Jesse and Zeke; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William INMAN, her parents, one sister and two brothers.

Graveside services for Elizabeth Ann JORDAN, 81, of Muskogee were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Akins Cemetery with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. JORDAN was born on Dec. 27, 1929, in Tulsa to Patrick William RILEY and Tilda Arizona (GREEN) RILEY. She died on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in Muskogee. She married James JORDAN Jr. He preceded her in death in 1990. Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen; three sons, Patrick, James and Jack; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, David JORDAN, one brother, Patrick William RILEY and one granddaughter.

Mrs. PARSONS was born on Oct. 24, 1923, in Hanson to Elsie Emma (STAFFAN) MILLER. She died on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in Sallisaw. She married William Brice “W.B.” PARSONS on May 19, 1941, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death Jan. 9, 1992. Survivors include four sisters, June, Carol, Betty and Charlotte; and one brother, C.B. . She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Glynda Kaye STANFIELD and one son, Jerry PARSONS.

She died on Friday, March 18, 2011, in Sallisaw. She married Donnie Carl EDWARDS on Nov. 19, 1973, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 2008. Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy, and Goldie; and five brothers, Caulie, Bill, Pat, John and Gene. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Burial is in Muldrow Memory Garden Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. EMBERTON was born on May 6, 1951, in Pomona, Calif., to Howard Preston CLELAND and Betty Jean (DAVIS) CLELAND. She died Monday, March 21, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Perry Loyd EMBERTON in October 1985, in Muldrow. Survivors include her husband, Perry of the home; one daughter, Tina; one son, Carl; one stepdaughter, Crystal; three sisters, Mary and Dottie and Terry; and two brothers, Tommy and Larry. She was preceded in death by her parents, one stepson, Paul EMBERTON and one infant brother, Kenny CLELAND.

Graveside services for Vera V. EVANS LUCAS, 90, formerly of Marble City will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Marble City Cemetery with Pres. Michael Black officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. LUCAS was born on Jan. 30, 1921, in Marble City to William Henry CAVIN and May M. (CRAWFORD) CROUCH. She died on Saturday, March 19, 2011, in Bainbridge, Ohio. She married Lee Roy LUCAS on Nov. 4, 1989, in San Pablo, Calif. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2005. Survivors include one daughter, Erin; one stepdaughter, Roberta; one son, Richard; one stepson, John; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, her mother and stepfather, George and May CROUCH and her father.

Donald Woll PIPER, 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Sallisaw on Saturday, March 12, 2011 Don was born in 1928 in Kansas City, Mo., to Charles John PIPER and Louise (WOLL) PIPER. He is survived by his four children, Greg, Gary, Donna and her husband, Andrew, and Kevin and his wife, Cindy; and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Robert PIPER. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, at the First Christian Church with the Rev. David Morley officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Nancy Joann WALKER, 67, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Muldrow Memory Garden Cemetery with the Rev. Vernon Stone officiating under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. WALKER was born on Feb. 11, 1944, in Muskogee to Alford DAVENPORT and Louise (McDANIEL) DAVENPORT. She died on Saturday, March 19, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Horace “Dub” WALKER on July 16, 1962, in Wagoner. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2009. Survivors include three daughters, Joann, Jennifer, and Tracy; two sons, Joe and Darrell; one brother, Albert, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Carla Ann WALKER and her parents.

Funeral services for Larry Solon COLSTON, 56, of Okemah will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at the Dwight Mission Cemetery in Marble City under the direction of Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Military honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 1189 of Okmulgee. Mr. COLSTON was born on July 18, 1954 in Vian to Waddie and Bonnie (LITHUMKUM) COLSTON. He died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in Okemah. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Nancy COLSTON of the home; his father; six children, Earnest and wife, Jennifer, Felicia and husband, Tim, Thomas and wife, Shannon, Susan, Robbie and wife, Terra, and Timothy and wife, Julie; two sisters, Tish and Carolyn; five brothers, Watie Jr., Boe, Dosson, Jim and Raymond; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, two sisters, Mildred COLSTON and Imogene COLSTON and brother, Charles COLSTON.

Mr. EDWARDS was born on Feb. 16, 1930, in Nicut, to Albert William EDWARDS and Hettie L. (SEATON) EDWARDS. He passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gary, and Jeffrey and Dawn; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and John; five grandchildren; one sister, Sylvia; and two brothers, Darlus and Danny. He was preceded in death by his wife, Noma Lee (MITCHELL) EDWARDS, one son, Michael Ray EDWARDS and his parents.

James Carl ENGLAND, 80, of Fort Smith, Ark. died on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Fayetteville, Ark. Mr. England was born on Nov. 25, 1930, in Amarillo, Texas, to Tom ENGLAND and Tenny (JOHNSTON) ENGLAND. Burial of cremains is at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Eileen; two sons, Allen, and Douglas; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mellie Elizabeth BURROW VADEN of Sallisaw was born Jan. 3, 1937, in Iola, Kan., to George D. and Agnes (SHOCKEY) CHATTERTON and passed away Monday, March 21, 2011, in Sallisaw. She is survived by her husband, Douglas VADEN of Sallisaw; two daughters, Pattie and husband, Billie, and Connie and husband Steve; one stepson, Larry and wife Peggy; three sisters, Earlene and husband, Bob, and Roberta, and Ramona and husband, Butch; one brother, Charles and wife, Misako; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Eva Samantha IRVIN DODGEN was born Sept. 2, 1929, in Liberty. She grew up in Muldrow with two brothers, Bill and Dale and one sister, Carrie. She became Eva DODGEN on Feb. 7, 1954, when she married Edward DODGEN Jr. of Gurdon, Ark.  He preceded her in death in May 2000. Eva departed this world on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, , She is survived by three children, Larry, Theresa and Yvonne. They gave her 12 grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond. Burial service was at 2 p.m. Saturday at Decipher Cemetery in Gurdon, Ark.

Wayne W. HAWKINS was born May 1, 1920, in Brent community, the son of Thomas Melvin HAWKINS and Alta Josephine (AMOS) HAWKINS. Mr. HAWKINS passed this life on Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors are his wife, Nelda of the home; one daughter, Janis; three sons, Joe, Marty and Steve; two stepsons, Corey, and Randy; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Aileen Janis HAWKINS in 1990, his parents, a sister, Cleo POST and a brother, Dr. Amos N. HAWKINS. Mr. Holt was born on Dec. 3, 1967, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Loyd “Buddy” HOLT Jr. and Callie MATHIS HOLT BARNES. He died Friday, March 25, 2011, in Gans. Gary Warren LONGLEY Jr., died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at his home in Richland Hills, Texas, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Services for Gary Warren LONGLEY Jr., were held Monday at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. Burial followed in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. He was born May 26, 1969, in Olathe, Kan., to Gary W. LONGLEY Sr. and Connie (HUTCHINS) RATLIFFE. Gary met Sharon Lynn CURRAN of Bluffton, Ind. They were married on Nov. 6, 1994, in Tulsa. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Gary and Becky LONGLEY Sr., of Hulbert; his mother and stepfather, Connie and Bobby RATLIFF of Tulsa; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Andrew; stepsister, Rebecca; stepbrother, A.J.; father-in-law, David CURRAN; mother-in-law, Diane CURRAN; sister-in-law, Peggy; brother-in-law, Jim; three nephews,; and niece; and numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Ray Goodloe “Pete” PETERS, 94, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Akins Baptist Church with the Revs. Ed Baker and Vernon Smith and Mr. Joe Peters officiating. Burial was at Peters Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. PETERS was born on Aug. 22, 1916, in Seven Oaks to Lorenzo Manuel PETERS and Dora (FRYE) PETERS. He died on Thursday, March 24, 2011, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Maude Helen SHACKELFORD on March 2, 1941, in Wagoner. She preceded him in death on Dec. 15, 2008. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy, Kathy and Mary Ann; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by one daughter Dana Rhea, his parents, three sisters, Pluma WALTERS, Mary Lou CLAYBROOK and Anna Lee DEATHEROW, and three brothers, Grady, Arthur and Leon PETERS.

Mrs. STOCKDALE was born on May 6, 1921, in Sallisaw. She died Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Roland. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra, and Rae; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Julia BROOKS and William BROOKS, and one brother, William KING.

Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Chona TREDWAY of the home; one daughter, Toni and her husband, Don; one son, Kris and his wife, Cherry Beth; one sister, Charlene; one brother, Raymond; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert TREDWAY.
