Graveside services for Ollie L. ANDERSON, 84, of Hobbs, N.M. were held Monday at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hobbs, under the direction of Memory Gardens Direct Services in Hobbs. Mrs. ANDERSON was born February 27, 1913, in Marble City, to Buck and Minnie BALL. She died Friday, February 20, 1998, at her home. She married Bruce "Boots" ANDERSON November 13, 1935. He preceded her in death March 1989. She was a member of the Hobbs Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include one daughter, Patsy; one brother Ed; one sister Mary Jane; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. ANDERSON was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Fred BALL and Barney BALL, and two daughters, Norma NEITHERCUT and Wilma HANN.

Edgar L. ALLEN, 80, of Placerville, Ca., formerly of Muldrow, died Monday , March 2, 1998, in Placerville. Mr. ALLEN was born Feb. 3, 1918. He married Cleatus LABASS and was a Veteran of World War II. After 25 years Mr. Allen retired from the Hollywood Police Department and moved to Placerville.
Survivors include his wife, Cleatus; one daughter, Judy; three grandsons, two sisters Aileen and Erma ; and three brothers, David, Ernest, and Harvell.

Funeral services for William Harvey ELLIS, 74, of Webbers Falls were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Millsap Funeral Chapel in Webbers Falls with Harvey Young officiating. Burial was in Gore City Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. ELLIS was born May 11, 1923, in Henryetta, to Acie Edward ELLIS and Viola (MCGEE) ELLIS. He died Friday, Feb. 27, 1998, at his home. He married June MOORE on May 29, 1959 in Poteau. Survivors include his wife, June ELLIS of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Frieda; one daughter and son-in-law, Rachelle and Ralph; two brothers, Billy and Charles; two sisters, Neota and Opal; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Catherine ELLIS who raised him from the age of 10, and two brother, Edward ELLIS and Albert ELLIS.

Funeral services for Alma WHITMIRE KEITH, 86, of Muskogee were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bradley Belltower Chapel, in Muskogee with he Revs. Dick Galusha and Dale Ritter officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, under the direction of Bradley Funeral Service of Muskogee. Mrs. KEITH was born Aug. 10, 1911, in Braggs to Calvin and Elizabeth (BLEVINS) WELLS. She died Sunday, March 1, 1998, in the Muskogee Regional Medical Center. Survivors include one brother, Elmer; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Albert and Sandy, George and Mary, Joe and Rita, and Raymond; one daughter-in-law, Charmis, wife of the late Gilbert WHITMIRE; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Mrs. KEITH was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Clifford, Homer, Bill and Raymond WELLS, two sisters, Ora and Ann, husband, Al KEITH, and one son, Gilbert WHITMIRE.

Funeral services for Clyde M. MITCHELL, 71, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the the Long Community Building, with the Rev. Steve Spyres officiating. Burial is in Long Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. MITCHELL was born March 13, 1926, in the Long community, to Sidney N. MITCHELL and Stella M. (BISWELL) MITCHELL. He died Monday, March 2, 1998, in Sallisaw. He married Eunice BROWN May 21, 1947. She preceded him in death Feb. 13, 1980.  Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Diana, Steve and Jeannie, Randy and Cathy; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Roleta, Billie Jean and Barbara; and several nieces and nephews.

Joseph A. RIGNEY, 77, of Mulvane, Kans., formerly of Sallisaw died Feb. 27, 1998. Rosary was held at 7:30 Monday at the Senter-Smith Mortuary in Mulvane. Mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael's Church in Mulvane. Survivors include his wife, Audrey (HUTCHENS); two daughters, Rose Marie and JoAnn; one sister Mary; four brothers, Edward, James, Andrew and Michael; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services for Dawes "Dutch" SOURJOHN, 76, of Gore were held at 1 p.m. Monday the the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Braggs, with the Rev. Jack Carner and Carolyn Rickner officiating. Burial was in South Bethel Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls. Mr. SOURJOHN was born Sept. 23, 1921, in Gore, to Levi and Fannie "Banty" SOURJOHN. He died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, in Sallisaw. Survivors include two sons, A. R. and Stanley "Teen"; six daughters, Ima, Patrica, Joan, Phyllis, Brenda and Carloyn; one brother, Stanley; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mr. SOURJOHN was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ola SOURJOHN, one daughter, Pauline WASHINGTON, and one son, Billy WASHINGTON.

Funeral services for Clara L. EYESTONE, 86, of Chandler are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, with Bro. Keith Cole officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Chandler, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. EYESTONE was born Sept. 8, 1911, in Gainsville, Mo., to W. P. and Coda Alma (WALLACE) GLADDEN. She died March 4, 1998, in Chandler. She married Harold EYESTONE Feb. 6, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1983. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Phyllis; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Wayne, and Gloria and Mike; four brothers, Troy, Billy, Boy and Eddie; one sister, Myrtle; and other relatives and friends. Mrs. EYESTONE was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Ruby (COLLINS) FRAZIER, 86, of Webbers Falls are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls, with the Rev. Phil Pack officiating. Burial is in Vaught Cemetery in Webbers Falls, with the Rev. Clifford Hyslope officiating. Mrs. FRAZIER was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Pulaski, Tenn., to Jessie M. COLLINS and Minnie B. COLLINS. She died Wednesday, March 4, 1998, at Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Linda; one daughter Delores Gail; two granddaughters; three sisters, Louise, Lillie and Lizzie; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. FRAZIER was preceded in death by her husband, Duffy FRAZIER, her parents, four brothers and two half brothers. Arrangements are under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls.

Funeral services for Jencie (FLANAGAN) MORTON, 91, of Stilwell were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Hart Memorial Chapel in Stilwell, with the Rev. Roger Haney and Dr. R. Dwayne Canner officiating. Burial was in Stilwell City Cemetery, under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell. Mrs. MORTON was born July 4, 1906, in Indian Territory, to Daniel Milton FLANAGAN and Bertha Ellen (SAYLOR) FLANAGAN. She died Wednesday, March 4, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Stilwell. She married William Guy MORTON July 5, 1923, in Sequoyah County. He preceded her in death Oct. 3, 1966. Survivors include two sons, Billy Lynn and Neil; three grandsons; five granddaughters; one brother, Olen; one sister, Maude; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Morton was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dean, Thel and Dallas, and a great-grandson, Alexander JASER.

Funeral services for Ester REAVIS, 87, of Moffett are being held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial is in Roland Cemetery, under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith. Ms. REAVIS died Wednesday, March 4, 1998, at her home. Survivors include five sisters, Myrtle, Erma, Rada, Freida and Almeda; one brother, Elmer; 28 nieces and nephews; and a number of great-nieces and nephews, and friends. Ms. REAVIS was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Leona REAVIS, one sister, Ruby HELLER, and three brothers, L. Z. REAVIS, Sherman REAVIS, and Frelin REAVIS.

Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, Ark., under the the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. RUSSELL was born June 30, 1937, in Fort Smith, Ark. to Joe and Opal (GIBBS) RICHMOND. She died Thursday, March 5, 1998, in Muldrow. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Richard; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ricky Joe and Lynda and Billy Don; two grandchildren; two sisters, Bobby Jo and Mary Kay; one brother , Jimmy Lee;

Funeral services for Walter H. SUSSEK of Roland will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow. Burial will be in the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home.  Mr. SUSSEK was born April 13, 1923, in Seven Mile Creek, Wisc., to William and Alma M. (STEFFIN) SUSSEK. He died Wednesday, March 4, 1998, in the V. A. hospital in Muskogee. He married Laura B. HILL in Fort Smith, Ark., July 1, 1987. Survivors include his wife, Laura SUSSEK of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Jessie and Keith; one step-daughter, Caroline; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Janet, and Chris and Martha; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary and her husband George, Annette, and Linda; three brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Patricia, Donald and Margaret, and Paul and Marlene; aunts and uncles, Charles and Mary, and Emilie; three sisters-in-law, Beatrice, Jean, Elanor; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends. Mr. SUSSEK was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert SUSSEK, Arthur SUSSEK and Edward SUSSEK.

Funeral services for Aubrey Mayo WAGGONER, 80, of Austin, Texas, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial United Methodist Church in Austin. Burial was in Decker United Methodist Church Cemetery in Austin, under the direction of Weed-Corley Fish Funeral Home. Mr. WAGGONER was born Feb. 5, 1918, in Knobbs Springs community, Lee County, Texas, to Max WAGGONER Sr., and Pearl WAGGONER. He died Monday, March 2, 1998. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Betty (DENTON) WAGGONER; one daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Thomas; one grandson; one granddaughter; one sister-in-law, Lauritta; and two brothers-in-law, Jim and Frank.

Graveside services are pending in Newberry, S. C. for John Mechem WHEELER, 86. Mr. WHEELER died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, in a Dallas nursing home. A memorial service is planned later in Newberry. He was born March 24, 1911, in Sallisaw to Will Watie WHEELER, Jr. and Jessie Emma (MECHEM) WHEELER. He was the grandson of W. W. WHEELER Sr., co-founder of Sallisaw. Mr. WHEELER was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Lee, in May 1988. Also preceded in death by three brother, Mr. WHEELER is survived by one sister, Martha Shannon; and several nieces and one nephew.

Frank YOUNG, 65, of Lawton died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, in Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. Private family memorial services are being held at a later date. Mr. YOUNG was born June 21, 1932, in Oklahoma City, to Marlie Allen YOUNG and Fannie Mae (HAMILTON) YOUNG.  Survivors include two sons, David Paul and Steven Carl; three daughters, Laurie, Virginia and Linda; three brothers, Gene, Roy and Bobby; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Edna Jane COKER, 82, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Revs. Merle Dry, William Sowells and O.E. Bryant officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow. Mrs. COKER was born March 13, 1915, in the Maple community to Coleman A. and Maude (HURT) GIPSON. She died Friday, March 6, 1998, in Fort Smith. Ark. She married Hugh Wesley COKER, Dec. 24, 1935, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death March 31, 1993. Survivors include four daughters Tessie, Virginia ; Maudie, and Peggy; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister Linnie ROGERS of Muldrow; and one brother Andy J. GIPSON of Muldrow.

Funeral services for Vera Bell DOLLAR, 89, of Sallisaw were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Bill Fuller officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. DOLLAR was born Sept. 17, 1908, in the Ole Remy community to Arthur and Annie Pearl (BLACKARD) SAGELY. She died Friday, March 6, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married A.Y. DOLLAR, Dec.1, 1929, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband ; one daughter, Mary Jane; three sons, Robert, Tom and Jim; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva and Mary ; and one brother, Joe.

Funeral services for Shirley D. IRVIN, (male) 79, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Magellan O'Neal officiating. Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. IRVIN was born June 25, 1918, in Liberty, to Sedalia IRVIN. He died Sunday, March 8, 1998, in Muskogee. Survivors include two aunts, Bessie and Ester.

Graveside services for Billy Ray KEITH, 49, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fleetwood Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating. Mr. KEITH was born Aug. 24, 1948, in Sallisaw to Ray and Dollie (CORBIT) KEITH. He died Saturday, March 7, 1998, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son, Billy Ray; his mother Dollie of the home; one brother, Sam; and one nephew, Curtis. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Graveside services for Levi McCOY, 96, of Vian were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cherokee McCoy Cemetery, north of Vian, with Crosslin Smith officiating. Mr. MCCOY was born Nov. 11, 1901, in Sequoyah County, Indian Territory, to Alec and Sophronia (LEE) MCCOY. He died Monday, March 9, 1998 in the Vian Nursing Home. Survivors include one daughter, Sophronia; one grandson, Greg; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Morgan. Arrangements were under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Haskell MILLER, 88, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Dr. Mike Taylor officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. MILLER was born March 24, 1909, in Miller Ridge, to Ben and Mary (RILEY) MILLER. He died Thursday, March 5, 1998, in Henryetta. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Jo; one granddaughter, Paulette; two great granddaughters; and four sisters, Lillian, Bernice, Lena and Cleo.

Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. MOORE was born June 5, 1926, in Spiro, to William McKinley and Rosie May (TAYLOR) HIGGINS. She died Monday, March 9, 1998, in Spiro. She married Vance MOORE Feb. 18, 1946, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Vance of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Judy; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Randy and Paula; one great-granddaughter, Alexandria; one brother, Gene; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Phillis Yvonne "Vonnie" WALTERS, 51, of Roland will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses-East Congregation in Fort Smith, Ark. with Wayne Hyman officiating.  Mrs. WALTERS was born Aug. 8, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Ras Sindle and Ruby (WILLIAMS) SCOGGINS. She died Saturday, March 7, 1998, in Fort Smith. She married Harold Dean WALTERS Sept. 9, 1964, in Hot Springs, S. D. Survivors include her husband, Dean of the home; one son, Paul; two daughters, Becky and Debbie; five grandchildren, and her mother-in-law, Lula Mae WALTERS.

Memorial services for Rev. Jack BREWER, 72, of Bakersfield, Ca. are being held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rosedale Pentecostal Church of God in Bakersfield. Rev. Brewer was born Feb 10, 1926, in Stilwell to Dave and Era BREWER. He died Friday March 13, 1998 in Bakersfield. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Avanell; two sons, Randy and Timothy BREWER: one daughter Kimberly Roberts, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. Arrangements are under the direction of Hillcrest Memorial Mortuary in Bakersfield.

Graveside services for Lerah G. CURTIS, 89, of Harrah were held March 13,  at the New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah.  Miss CURTIS was born Oct. 17, 1908, in Sallisaw, to Felix Wade and Maude Alma (ADAIR) CURTIS.  She died Tuesday, March 10, 1998.  Survivors include one sister, Nola Mae; two nephews, Mark and Dick; and one niece, Mary Jane.

Funeral services for Thomas Jackson MCDANIEL, 76, of Muldrow will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at Merritt Funeral Service Chapel in Eufaula. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, under the direction of Merritt Funeral Home in Eufaula. Mr. MCDANIEL was born April 20, 1921, in Wister, to Jeff and Florence MCDANIEL. He died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at Sequoyah Manor Nursing Home in Sallisaw. He married Virgie BREWER, July 17, 1947, in Roswell, N. M. Survivors include his wife Virgie of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Russell and Brenda and Joel; two daughters and sons-in-law, Della Ann and Watie Jr. and Nancy Loraine and Larry; five sisters, Ava, Betty, Helen, Lucille and Bebble; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Cletis Reecie CHAPMAN ASBILL, 86, of Sallisaw were held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Northview Cemetery, with Wayne Efurd officiating. Mrs. ASBILL was born Oct. 10, 1911, in New Home, Sequoyah County, to Will and Mattie (HARRIS) CHAPMAN. She died Thursday March 12, 1998, at Sequoyah Manor Nursing Home in Sallisaw. She married Pitchford ASBILL in 1928 and was a homemaker. He preceded her in death Nov. 3, 1966. Survivors include one son Gilbert; one daughter-in-law, Zula, four grandchildren. Mrs. ASBILL was also preceded in death by one son, Charles ASBILL, July 27, 1994. Arrangements are under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Fern FARRELL, 92, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Bill Fuller officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Ms FARRELL was born Dec. 31, 1905, in Bakersfield, Mo. to La "Babe" and Nancy (PLUMLEE) CARRINGTON. She died Monday, March 16, 1998, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one sister Mary; one niece Jan; two nephews, Robert and Bill; four great-nieces, and two great-nephews.

Funeral services for Eugene Homer FLUTE, 64, of Flute Springs are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Marble City Gymnasium, with the Rev. Leroy Reid officiating. Burial is in Flute Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. FLUTE was born Aug. 21, 1933, in Sequoyah County, to John FLUTE JR. and Mollie Mush (CATRON) FLUTE. He died Sunday, March 15, 1`998 in a Fort Smith hospital. He married Carrie FOGG in 1954. Survivors include his wife Carrie FLUTE of the home; one daughter Jeannie; one son, Georgie Mack; two sisters Sarah and Betty; three brothers, Thomas, Charley, and Johnny Mack; one adopted brother, Calvin; six grandchildren.

Graveside services for Nancy Luellen (DEBORD) BRANSCUM SULLIVAN, 58, of McCurtain will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Liberty Cemetery, northwest of Roland. Mrs. SULLIVAN was born Feb. 4, 1940, in Ardmore to Fred Lee and Frankie Marie (DOWD) DEBORD. She died Monday, March 16, 1998, in McCurtain. She married her first husband, Joe Henry BRANSCUM, August 26, 1955, in Ardmore. He preceded her in death Sept. 24, 1988. She married he second husband, Charles Dean SULLIVAN, March 29, 1989, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Charles Dean of the home; three daughters, Debra, Barbara, and Thelma; two sons, Clifford and Doyle; three step-daughters, Susan, Joanne and Pat; two step-sons, Danny and Russell; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; three sisters, Betty, Louise and Faye; one brother, David. Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. DAVIDSON was born Nov. 12, 1915, in Sequoyah County, to Burgin and Lettie (WOODRING) ISRAEL. She died Wednesday, March 18, 1998, at Fort Smith, Ark. She married Frank DAVIDSON, May 22, 1960, in Miami.He preceded her in death Jan. 24, 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Patty; two sons, Douglas and Randy; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother Frank. Mrs. DAVIDSON was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Paul SHORE in 1990.

Funeral services for Oaks LOCUST, 53, of Vian are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Vian Creek Baptist Church. Burial is in Barnoskie Cemetery, north of Vian under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. LOCUST was born June 29, 1944, in the Evening Shade community, north of Vian, to Jess and Ella (BEAVER) LOCUST. He died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at his home. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa and Mindy; two sons, Quintin and MvHayv; seven grandchildren, Larry, Ashley, Justin, Randall, Brooke, Reba and Dillion; three sisters, Myria, Edyth and Paula; six brothers, Mike, Louis, Leslie, Vincent, James and Charles. Mr. LOCUST was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Abraham LOCUST.

Funeral services for Barnes D. ROBERTS, 73, of Sallisaw are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church with Robert Palvado officiating. Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. ROBERTS was born March 21, 1924, in Akins to Willie Gray and Neoma (BARNES) ROBERTS. He died Monday, March 16, 1998, in Sallisaw. He married Vada V. WEBB in 1950 in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Vada of the home; one brother, Curtis; two sister, Doris and Callie;

Graveside services for Nick CARTER, 50 of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cottonwood Cemetery, south of Muldrow, with the Rev. Jack O'NEAL officiating. Mr. CARTER was born July 12, 1947, in Sherman, Texas, to Willard and Billie Adive (HUGHES) CARTER. He died Sunday, March 22, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Norma Jean CARTER, Dec. 17, 1967, in Stigler. Survivors include his wife, Jean CARTER ; two daughters, Tina and Glenda , four sons, Vernon CLOUD, Nick Adam CARTER, James TAYLOR , and Joe CHRISTIAN ; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wendy and Kathy and eight nephews and three nieces. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Cleo FULLBRIGHT, 69, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Hugh Harris and Dr. Mike Taylor officiating. Burial was in U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. FULLBRIGHT was born Jan. 20, 1929, in Daisy, to George Washington and Lula Mae (MCCURDY) LOOPER. She died Saturday, March 21, 1998, in Sallisaw. She married Billlie Ray "Bill" FULLBRIGHT, July 24, 1967, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband Bill of the home; two daughters, Wanda and Linda; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Climmie and Mildred and one brother Elton.

Funeral services for Anna Mae LUCAS, 79, of Sallisaw were held at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Derrick Horne officiating. Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. LUCAS was born May 15, 1918, in the Blackjack community, to Charles Henry and Pearly Alice (JACKSON) FISHER. She died Friday, March 20, 1998 at her home. She married William Raymond "Bill" LUCAS, Oct. 5, 1936, in the Short Community. He preceded her in death, Sept. 29, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Bonita and Betty; three sons, Ray, Michael and David; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Gladys, Edna, Eurith and Chris; and one brother, Bill .

Funeral services for Lola Faye WOODS, 73, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Cottonwood Free Will Baptist Church near Muldrow. Burial was in Cottonwood Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Ms. WOODS died Thursday, March 19, 1998, in a Fort Smith hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Janice and Mickii; one son , Rocky; one step-son, Roy; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Jerry Carl COFFMAN Graveside services for Jerry Carl COFFMAN, 28, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Brent Cemetery, south of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Louis Brown officiating. Mr. COFFMAN was born July 9,1969, in Modesto, California to Edward Earl and Joyce Ann FOUTCH COFFMAN. He died Wednesday, March 25, 1998 at his home. Survivors include his parents, two sisters, Melissa and Lantha Pauline; one brother, Damon Edward; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. HOGWOOD. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Clifford P. FERGUSON, 78, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Muldrow First Baptist Church. Burial was in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark. Mr. FERGUSON died Wednesday, March 25, 1998 in a Fort Smith hospital. Survivors include his wife Lillian FERGUSON of the home; four daughters, Sue, Rhonda, Paulette, and Kay.; three sons Dale, Donnie and Jimmie; three sisters; three brothers, 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Mr. JOHNSON was born May 2, 1930 in Sallisaw, to Willie and Jane (WEAVER) JOHNSON. He died Friday, March 27, 1998 in Sallisaw. He married Imogene DUVALL, May 2, 1961, in Van. Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife Imogene of the home; one daughter, Loretta; two sons, Joe Andrew and Albert Eugene; five grandchildren; one sister, Juanita; and one brother, Enos. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Graveside services for Jessie SPRINGWATER, 86, of Gans are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fleetwood Cemetery, east of Sallisaw, with Rev. Charles "Sonny" Sparkman officiating. Mrs. SPRINGWATER was born Nov. 12, 1911, in Ola, Ark. to Clyde and Leigh (HOLMES) HERNDON. She died Wednesday, March 25, 1998, in Gans. She married Boyd SPRINGWATER Aug. 16, 1930, in Gans. He preceded her in death , March 3, 1996. Survivors include one son, Dave; three grandson, Rick, Anthony and Jim; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister Orphia; and one half brother, Bud. Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Lucy S. TAYLOR, 90, of Vian are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Vian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tommy Clark officiating. Burial is in Round Mountain Cemetery, west of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. TAYLOR was born Sept 4, 1907, in the Maple community, Sequoyah District, Oklahoma, Indian Territory, to Samuel LaFayette and Murtie (MATTHEWS) PARSLEY. She died Tuesday March 24, 1998, in Vian. She married William Thomas TAYLOR Dec. 3, 1925, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death Oct. 22, 1982. Survivors include one daughter, Billie June; two sons, Floyd and Donald; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Velma Ruth. Mrs. TAYLOR was also preceded in death by one son, L. D. TAYLOR.

Funeral services for Jack R. YOAKUM, 60, at Chouteau will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Locust Grove, with the Revs. Randy Hamill and Claude Blackford officiating. A second service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Rev. Bailey Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow. All services are under the direction of Rose Hill Funeral Home in Tulsa. Mr. YOAKUM was born March 18, 1937, in Muldrow, to Ray and Deloris YOAKUM. He died Thursday, March 26, 1998, at his home in Chouteau. Survivors include his wife, Merideth of the home his mother, Deloris; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Tom, Carla and Tom; two step daughters, Kim and Jennifer; seven grandchildren. Mr. YOAKUM was preceded in death by his father Ray YOAKUM, a sister, Wanda Faye YOAKUM.
