Funeral services for Shirley  G. BRANT, 77, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m.  Tuesday at Agent Chapel  in Muldrow  with the Rev. Loyd Graham officiating .  Burial  was in Riverside Cemetery in Ralston, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mr. BRANT  was born July 23, 1921, in Ralston, to Frank BRANT and Emma (TETER)  BRANT.  He died Saturday, June 26, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He married Velma N. MEDLOCK  March 24, 1951, in Van Buren, Ark.  Survivors include his wife, Velma BRANT of Muldrow; one daughter, Zagonyi; two sons, Shirley George Jr.  and Wayne; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Leroy, Walter and Wilson.  He was preceded in death by  three sisters, Anna GREENSHIELD, Gladys CAPSTICK and Ilena LAUGHTER; and one brother, Darrell BRANT.  

Funeral services for Mary Ethel BRIGHT, 57, of Hot Springs, Ark. were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs, with Bro. Charles Cozart officiating.  Burial  was in Crestview Memorial Park, under the direction of Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.  Mrs. BRIGHT was born April 2, 1942, in Texas, to William H. "Bud" ROSS and Geneva "Smokey" (GLASS) ROSS. Who preceded her in death.  She died Sunday, June 20, 1999, due to heart and lupus complications.  Survivors include her husband, Shelby BRIGHT of Hot Springs; one daughter, Shellie; two sons, Darrin, and Ross; four grandchildren;  four brothers; six sisters; and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. BRIGHT was preceded in death by two brothers, Buddy Don ROSS  and William "Pete" ROSS.  

Funeral services for Warren G. CHANDLER, 76,  of Roland are being held at 1 p.m.  Wednesday, at Putman Memorial Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.  burial is in the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  Mr. CHANDLER died Saturday, June 26,1999, in a Fort Smith hospital.  Survivors include his wife, Veronica CHANDLER  of the home; four daughters, Anna, Lisa, Sabrina and Yvonda;  four sons, William, Earl, Richard and Randy; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Vera.

Funeral services for Bonnie CHRISCO, 89,  of Stigler, formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler, with the Rev. Bill Fitzer officiating.  Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.  Mrs. CHRISCO was born March 25, 1910, in Sallisaw, to Samuel Drew KNOX and Mary (CLAUNCH) KNOX.  She died Tuesday, June 29,1999, in Stigler.  Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Johnny, Mary Ann and Bill, and Shirley and Don; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, L. E. "Cotton" CHRISCO; one daughter, Wilma Lyne HARRIS, one sister, Floy PETERS; and two brothers, Roy and Robert KNOX.  

Funeral services for Willie Elizabeth "Bill" GOINS, 83, of Stigler were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Main Street  Baptist Church in Stigler, with the Revs. Donnie Crittendon and Roy Edge officiating.  Burial was in Stigler Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.  Mrs. GOINS was born Jan. 28, 1916, in Keota, to William Ernest COX and Dora Blanche (SHARP) COX.  She died Sunday, June 27, 1999.  Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Martha Lee , Mary Kay and Jim, and Susy and James ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Taze Boyd, and Gary and Darlene; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Beecher; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Wilda and Paul and Joe; and one sister-in-law, Jayne.  

Graveside services for Hazel COUSINS HALE, 69, of Dallas, were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Fleetwood Cemetery, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Mrs. HALE was born April 29, 1930, in Bristow, to Clayton L. COUSINS and Julia (MCEVER) COUSINS.  She died  Wednesday, June 23, 1999, in Denton Regional Medical Center in Denton, Texas.  Survivors include  one sister, Lila M.; one nephew and his wife, Scott and Teresa;  and two great-nieces, Kristi and Kimmi. Arrangements were under the direction of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.  

Funeral services for Tommy HARMON, 31,  of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.   Burial was in the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.  Mr. HARMON died Sunday, June 27, 1999, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include his wife, Karen of the home; one daughter, Mollie; two sons, Andy and Nathan; his father and step-mother, Willard and Judy;  his mother and step-father, Betsy and Bill; and one brother, Jim.  

Funeral services for Margaret PALMER HOWARD, 88,  of Fort Smith, Ark., will be held at 10 a.m.  Friday at Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith. Cremation is under the  direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.  Mrs. HOWARD  died Sunday, June 27,1999, in a local hospital.   Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law,  Marjorie Ann and Nancy and Marshall;  two sons and one daughter-in-law,  Everett and Sandra K., and  Eddie;  one step-son and his wife, James and Hollene;  12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many friends.  

Graveside services for Leonard Vowell JONES, 74, of WArner were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Warner Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Clifford Hyslope officiating.  Mr. JONES  was born Oct.t 2, 1924, in Webbers Falls  to Mylie (RAY) and Jess "Tittle" JONES.  He died Saturday, June 26, 1999, at St. John's  Medical Center in Tulsa.  Mr. JONES married May MCCRARY Sept. 21, 1947, in Checotah.  Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law,  Wayne and Janice; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Norma and Danny, Lorreta and Kenneth, Cynthia and Pat, and Nancy Jean; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie ; two sisters-in-law, Janet  and Della Mae; lifelong friend, Marvin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Arrangements were under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls.  He was preceded in death by his wife, May JONES; his parents; and one brother, Boyd JONES.

Funeral services for Troy Allan MATLACK, 24, of Rockwall, Texas, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Tim Dreier officiating.  Burial was in Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home, Inc.  in Sallisaw.  Mr. MATLACK was born April 16, 1975, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Stanley Allan MATLACK and Julie Ann (BOWMAN) MATLACK.  He died  Saturday, June 26, 1999, in Dallas.  He married Trina Ann SEELY April 23, 1994, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include his wife, Trina Ann MATLACK of Rockwall; his mother and step-father, Julie and Gerald; his father and step-mother, Stanley and Vel ;  paternal grandparents, Elizabeth  and Beulah; maternal grandparents, Bill and Gwen, and Charley and Sherry; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judy and Dub ; two step-sisters, Michelle and Marsha; one sister-in-law, Tina; and one step-brother, Rodney.

Graveside services for Jerry Jamell MERRILL, 67, of Pocola were held at 11 a.m.  Tuesday at Fleetwood Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw with Revs. Joe Fowler and Charles Sparkman officiating.  Mr. MERRILL  was born June 17, 1932, in Sequoyah County, to Daniel Ode MERRILL Sr.  and Prilla Audrey (NIMMO) MERRILL.  He died Saturday, June 26, 1999, in Rogers, Ark.  Survivors include one daughter, Angelia; two sons, Jeff and Mike; five grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel and Emma; three brothers, Jess, Larry and Wayne; and friend and companion, Alene.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Nadine OWENS, 62,  of Keota are being held  at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Keota, with the Revs. Tommie Parker, Elbert Owens and Mark Cook officiating.  Burial is in Keota Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.   Mrs. OWENS was born Nov. 20, 1926, in Keota, to Ira P. Copeman and Delila MCCLARY.  She died  Tuesday, June 29, 1999, in Stigler.   Survivors include two daughters, Ima Jean and Nelda; two sons, Herbert and Elbert; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Georgia; two half-sisters, Melba and Leta Faye; three half-brothers, Charles, Eddie and Mike; four sisters-in-law, Lillie Mae, Gerry and Thelma and Betty; and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. OWENS was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert R. OWENS.  

Funeral services for Lula Mae SHOATE, 87, of Lewisville are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harris Chapel Baptist Church in Lewisville, with the Rev. R. C. Triplett officiating.  Burial is in Lewisville Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Quinton.  Mrs. SHOATE was born Aug. 18, 1911, in yahola, to James Liather BROKENBAUGH  and Mary (FARMER)  BROKENBAUGH.  She died  Saturday, June 26, 1999, in a McAlester hospital.  Survivors include four sons, Horace M. Sr.  , James Lathen Sr., Troy R. Sr. and Billy; five daughters, Ella L., Esther M., Mary L., Christine J. and Augistin; 31 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Theodore Roosevelt HALL and Walter SHOATE; and two sons, Samuel L. HALL in the Korean War and Isiaah Herman WILSON in the Vietnam War.   

Funeral services for Gladys Marie THOMPKINS, 79, of Waldron, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Quachita Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial is in Hawkins Cemetery in Parks, Ark., under the direction of Martin Funeral Home  of Waldron.  Mrs. THOMPKINS died Sunday, June 27, 1999, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital.  Survivors include two daughters, Edith  and Clarine; four sons, Edward, Johnnie, Lowell and Lester;  24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Fern and Melba.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence THOMPKINS; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John COSSFY; and three brothers,

Graveside services for Leveda M. WILLIAMS, 77, of Spiro were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Hope Cemetery, with the Rev. Rick Thompson officiating.  Mrs. WILLIAMS was born Dec. 5, 1921, at Spiro, to Willie SMITH and Velma (WELKER) SMITH.  She died Saturday, June 26, 1999, in a local  nursing home.  Mrs. WILLIAMS  married Leo WILLIAMS  who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, , Grady and Billy SMITH.   Survivors include two daughters, Sue and Carol; one  son, Michael; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.

Funeral services for Dewey Ed MARTIN,  58, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Tim Ohls officiating.   Burial was in Seabolt Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home Inc. of Muldrow.  Mr. MARTIN was born July 4, 1940, in Muldrow, to Clarence Adolph MARTIN Sr. and Alice Pauline (CHISUM) MARTIN.  He died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.   Mr. Martin Married Patricia Lou FLANAGAN on April 29, 1960,  in Stilwell.  Survivors include his wife, Patricia Martin; one daughter and son-in-law, Patrice and Kevin; two grandchildren; one sister, Paula Carol; and one brother, Dr. Clarence A. Jr..

Funeral services for Dana Marie ROBERTS, 23, 9f Hackett, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Hackett Assembly of God Church in Hackett.  Burial was in Old Union Cemetery in Hackett, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood.  Mrs. ROBERTS   died Monday, June 28, 1999, in Hackett.  Survivors include two sons, Jessie Dale and William Henry; her mother, Florence; her father, Henry; her paternal grandmother, Leona; her maternal grandfather, Carl; three sisters, Teresa, Kathy and Frances; four brothers, Henry Allen, Timothy , William and Michael.  

Funeral services for Lena Mae SISK, 81, of Roland are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Moore Cortner Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester, Tenn.  Burial is in Keith Springs Mountain Cemetery  in Franklin  County, Tenn.,  under the direction of Moore Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester and Agent Funeral Home Inc. in Sallisaw. Mrs. SISK  was born April 17, 1918, at Bean's Creek, Tenn., to John Arnold GREEN and Robie Anna GREEN. She died Sunday, June 27, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include one daughter, Rita Ellen; two sons, Marvin "Buck" and Ed;  eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Lillie Oplie, Dean and Essie; and three brothers, J. E. , Joe and John.  Mrs. SISK was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lawrence SISK Jan. 11, 1981; a two-year-old son, Don Sisk and one brother, Lawrence GIFFORD.

Funeral services for Earnest BARNES, 69, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lee's Chapel Church south of Muldrow.  Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery near Muldrow, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  Mr. BARNES   was born Feb. 24, 1930, in Bradford, Ark.  He died Friday, July 2, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.   Survivors include his wife, Cherokee Barnes of the home;  two daughters, Patsy and Donna; one son, Gary ; one grandson; his mother, Josie; two sisters, Edith and Dovie; and four brothers, Leon, Herbert, Vernon and Alton.

Funeral services for James  Calvin HAYWOOD Sr., 84, of Muldrow are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Tommy Jordan officiating.  Burial is in Lee's Chapel Cemetery, south of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home Inc. in Muldrow.  Mr. HAYWOOD  was born June 19, 1915, in Muldrow, to Oscar HAYWOOD  and Ada (RAMEY) HAYWOOD.  he died Monday, July 5, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark.  He married Dollie May ENGLAND Jan. 21, 1934, in Muldrow.  She preceded him in death June 15, 1994.  Survivors include one daughter, Wanda; two sons, David and J. C.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruby.  Mr. HAYWOOD  was also preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Jean HAYWOOD and Myrtle Sue  WOODWARD; one son, Jimmy Lee HAYWOOD;  three sisters; and one brother.  

Funeral services for Ila Mae OWENS, 77,  of Gans are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God Church  in Gans, with the  Revs. Dale Wendlandt and Joe Fowler officiating.  Burial is in Gans Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home, Inc. in Sallisaw.  Mrs. OWENS was born May 27, 1922, in Van Buren, Ark., to George Lewis COOKSEY and Stella (FRANKLIN) COOKSEY.  She died Monday, July 5, 1999, in Marshall, Texas.  She married Ruben Artist "Sonny" OWENS on Sept. 17, 1938, in Van Buren.    Survivors include her husband, Ruben Owens of the home; three daughters, Artie, Linda and Karon; five sons, George Artist, Jimmy, Ronnie, Bobby and Jackie; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Imogene and Geneva.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Stella Maud OWENS on Jan. 14, 1940; and two brothers, Harley COOKSEY and George "Son" COOKSEY.

John K. POHLMAN, 75, of South Haven, Kan., died Friday, July 2, 1999, in South Haven.  Burial was in Yates Center Cemetery in Yates Center, Kan., under the direction of Culbertson-Smith Mortuary in Wichita, Kan.  Mr. POHLMAN was born June 24, 1924, in Pratt, Kan., to Fred Augustine POHLMAN and Ella May THOMPSON.  Both preceded him in death.  Survivors include two sisters, Gertrude and Louise; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Billy Dale RAMSEY JR., 35, of Fort Smith, Ark. are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.  Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction  of Putman Funeral Home.  Mr. RAMSEY died Monday, July 5, 1999, at his home.  Survivors include one son, Billy "William" III; his mother, Wanda; one sister, Tranella; two brothers, Chris  and Steve; and one halfbrother, Jamie.  

Funeral services for Thelma REISWIG, 92, of Stigler were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church.  Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.  Mrs. REISWIG was born April 3, 1907, in Ninnekah, to William WHITE  and Manervia CARTER.  She died Thursday, July 1, 1999, in Stigler.  Survivors include one daughter, Carol; one son, William Roy; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Ralph.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver REISWIG; her parents; one sister, Pearle BURKE; and one brother, James WHITE.

Funeral services for Glenda Kay ROGERS, 56, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Rodney Roberson, and Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home Inc in Sallisaw.  Mrs. ROGERS was born Nov. 17, 1942, in Keokee, Va., to Otis CLARK and Vida CLARK.  She died Friday, July 2, 1999, in Sallisaw.  Mrs. ROGERS  married Fred A. ROGERS Sept. 17,. 1998, in Eureka Springs, Ark.  Survivors include her husband, Fred A. Rogers of the home; one stepson and wife, Marty and Jana ; one sister, Nell; and one brother, Paul.  She was preceded in death by three brothers.  

Funeral services for Joseph Eugene SWARTS, 64, of Monroe  are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Springhill Baptist Church in Monroe, with the Rev. Bob Garrett officiating.  Burial is in Monroe Cemetery, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.  Mr. SWARTS was  born Aug. 10, 1934, in Pawhuska.  He died  Monday, July 5, 1999, at his home.  He married Anita BETTARINI, May 2, 1957, in Leghorn, Italy.   Survivors include his wife, Anita of the home; one daughter, Sonia; four sons, Robert Gino, Richard and Carl; 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Corretta; and one brother, Carl.

Funeral services for Neta Faye "Sissy" WHITE, 50, of Poteau were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, with the Rev. Joseph Nguyen officiating.  Rosary was at 7 p.m. Monday at Evans Chapel.  Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.  Mrs. WHITE was born April 2, 1949, in Pocola, to Paul SMITH and Roberta SMITH.  She died Sunday, July 4, 1999, in Poteau.  Survivors include her husband, Russ WHITE of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Bobby, and Lisa and Rick; three grandchildren; her mother, Roberta; three sisters, Betty, Sandra and JoAnn; and six brothers, Don, Lloyd,  Bill, Billy Don, Jimmy and Roger.  She was preceded in death by her father, Paul SMITH, and one sister, Paula SMITH.

Graveside services for Glennie W. WILSON, 58, of Spickard, Mo., were held at 10 a.m. Friday at North Evans Cemetery, east of Spickard.  The Rev. Shannon Munday of Ft. Morgan, Colo. officiated.  Mrs. WILSON was born June 23, 1941, in Vian, to Holley B. and Telitha (WELCH) SANDERS.  She died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at her home.  Mrs. WILSON married W. A. WILSON Oct. 27, 1963, in Spickard.  Survivors  include her husband, W. A. Wilson of the home; one daughter, Tonya; three sons, Mark, Mike and Denver; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother-in-law, Freda; three sisters, Kathryn, Mary and Jane; three brothers, Bill, Tom and Sonny.  She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, John, Mose, Charles, Gus and Jack SANDERS.

Funeral services for Nettie Iretta BRACKETT, 86,  of Sallisaw are being held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Sallisaw, with the Revs. Leon Breashears and Royce Martin officiating.  Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. BRACKETT  was born Jan. 18, 1913, in Sallisaw, to Noah SPARKS  and Effie (SLATER) SPARKS.  She died  Wednesday, July 7, 1999, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital.   She married Ira C. BRACKETT on August 24, 1929, in Marble City.  He preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1989.  She was also preceded in death by one son, Gerald Glen BRACKETT in January  1936.   Survivors include four sons, and three daughters-in-law, Ira C. Jr. and Roy L. and Nancy, Charles  L. and Maxine, and Peary P. and Juanita; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Loyaluia and Meldonna; three brothers, Jack, Woody and Noah; and other relatives and friends.  

Graveside services for Harold BRANSCUM, 73, of Spiro were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Spiro City Cemetery, with the Revs. Robert Hill and Randall Newby officiating.   Mr. BRANSCUM was born Oct. 18, 1925, in Fort Coffee, to James Brady BRANSCUM and Effie (PALMER) BRANSCUM.  He died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital.  Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jean BRANSCUM of the home; two daughters and  sons-in-law, Linda and Bill, and Sandy and Tom; one son, Wade; one stepdaughter, Marla and husband, John; two stepsons, Lynndell and wife, Kristie, and Randell and wife, Natalie; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeannie and husband, Denver; and one brother, Deryl and wife, Lulavell.  Services were under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.

He died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, in a Fort Smith, Ark. hospital.  Survivors include his wife, Juanita (BRYANT) RICHARDSON of the home; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Helen and Buck, Charlotte and Steve, Sandy and David, and Janet; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Vickie; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Versie ; and two brothers, Thurman and Garvin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Christine LOWRIMORE in 1998, and Shirley RICHARDSON in 1951, and one sister, Matilda WALLS in 1998.

Bill Armstrong officiating.  Mr. BRYSON was born Nov. 10, 1921, in Gore, to Daniel Claude BRYSON and Velma Janice  "Callie" MCGINNIS CARTER.  He died Friday, July 9, 1999, in Muskogee.  Survivors include six daughters, Ann, Sharon, Bobbie Sue, Wanda, Carolyn and Winnie; two sons, Daniel "Buster" and John; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four brothers, John, George, Arthur Floyd and Jimmy.  Services were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Gore.

Leslie HINES, 98, of Las Cruses, N. M., formerly of Sallisaw, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, in Gloucester, Va.  Mr. HINES was born May 6, 1901, in Gardner, Texas, to Richard "Dick"  and Hattie (LANE) HINES. He married Bernice Cherry WINTER June 5, 1927, at her home in Sallisaw. She preceded him in death Nov. 7, 1989.  He is survived by two daughters, Corynne and Paula; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Willie Mae ; He was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.  Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Las Cruses, with assistant minister Jeannie Lutz and Ed Bachschmid officiating.  Mr. HINES was cremated and placed in the columbarium at the church.  

Graveside services for  Madeline J. JAMES, 80, of Bossier City, La., formerly of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. July 5, at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Bossier City.  The Rev. D. L. Danields  officiated.  Mrs. JAMES died Saturday, July 3, 1999, in Bossier City.  Survivors include two grandchildren, Russell and his wife, Lucinda, and Michael; one son-in-law, Joe D. and his wife, Glena; and two brothers, C. H. and Eathel; she was preceded in death by her husbands, Angus OSWALT and Jesse JAMES; one daughter, Trudy L. HENDRICKS in 1943.  Survivors include her husband, Elmer of Davenport; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dennis; three granddaughters; other survivors include four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.  She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Louise; her parents; four brothers, Raymond, Paul, Foreman and R. She preceded him in death Feb. 10, 1969.  Survivors include three nieces, Thelma Pearl, Irene and Nadine; and one sister-in-law, Mattie.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Clarence LEWIS on May 3, 1980 and one nephew, William Lloyd LEWIS in December 1997.

Ken Wolf and eulogists Darin Morgan and Brant Followell officiating.  Burial was in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, northeast of Muldrow,  under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. MORGAN was born Aug. 2, 1922, in the Mineral Springs community to Dave and Elsie (STOCKTON) BULLOCK.  She died Saturday, July 24, 1999, in Roland.  She married Whit MORGAN May 28, 1951, in Clovis, N. M. He preceded her in death July 23, 1980.  Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Edmond and Regina, Glenn and Marsha, and Joe and Marina, and Carl and Carolyn; three daughters and sons-in-law,  Cathy and Brant, Linda and Mike, Regina and Tim; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  

Funeral services for Glenn PARRET, 47, of Yukon, formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Smith and Turner Funeral Chapel in Yukon.  Burial was in Yukon Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. PARRET was born Nov. 23, 1951, in Nowata, to Odis PARRET and June PARRET. Survivors include his wife, Gwen PARRET of the home; his parents, Odis and June;  and one daughter, Jennifer.
