Funeral services for Helen Louise CATON, 79, of Van Buren, Ark., were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Van Buren. Rosary was held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mrs. CATON died Saturday, July 27, 20002, in a local nursing home. Survivors include her husband, Dolphas Dale CATON of Van Buren; five daughters, Patricia, Barbara, Beverly, Diana and Catherine; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Ann.

Graveside services for Bonnie COOK, 81, of Keota, are being held at 10 a.m., Thursday, at Old Cache Cemetery in Keota, with the Rev. Mark Cook officiating, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. Ms. COOK was born Nov. 16, 1920, in Star, Okla., to Arthur Elbert COOK and Vesta Hattie (PRIDMORE) COOK. She died Saturday, July 27, 2002, in Spiro. Survivors include one brother, Thomas and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Beulah HARDT and Ocie ISOM; and three brother, Leonard, Elbert and Vance COOK.

Funeral services for Richard "Dick" JOHNSON, 66, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Van Buren, Ark. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, Ark. With full military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. Mr. JOHNSON died Sunday, July 28, 2002, in a local hospital. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann JOHNSON of the home; two daughters, Kathy and Karen; one son, Kenneth; four stepsons, James R., Benny and David and Mark; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; two sisters, Mary Ann and Debbie; and one one brother, Jim.

Funeral services for Dona Mae McGUIRE, 68, of Roland were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at First Freewill Baptist Church in Fort Smith, Ark., with Revs. Dale Gallaher and Gilbert Pixley officiating. Burial was in Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. Mrs. McGUIRE was born July 26, 1934, in Fort Smith to Jeff Brown and Letha (HUGGINS) BROWN. She died Saturday, July 27, 2002, in Fort Smith.   She married Alfred J. McGUIRE on May 26, 1951, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband Alfred of the home; two sons, James and Donnie; three daughters, Ann, Kathy and Peggy; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Isabell; one brother, Wade; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Gisele R. McMAHAN, 77, of Ringold, formerly of Gore, are being held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Revs. Tommy Ballard and Junior Garrett officiating. Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. McMAHAN  was born Sept. 14, 1924, in Belgium. She died Saturday, July 27, 2002, in Paris, Texas. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She married Willard R. "Bud" McMAHAN on Oct. 14, 1946, in Belgium. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1971. Survivors include one son, Johnny; one sister-in-law, Helen; one brother-in-law, Raymond; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends in the United States, France and Belgium.

Funeral services for Neva M. MOORE, 73, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Dwain Hardbarger officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. MOORE was born March 10, 1929, in Nicut to Will POLECAT and Clara (NELSON) POLECAT. She married John Edmond MOORE on March 1, 1947, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1992. Survivors include two daughters, Alice and Terry; two sons, Johnny Dale and Curtis; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brother, George and Jack POLECAT and one sister, Alice POLECAT.

Graveside services for Mozelle O'NEAL, 75, of Sallisaw, are being held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, in Sallisaw City Cemetery, with Rev. Jason Helmbacher officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. O'NEAL was born Sept. 2, 1926, in Clarksville, Ark. to Monroe Leslie "Buddy" JOHNSON and Robbie (BLACKBURN) JOHNSON. She died Sunday, July 28, 2002, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Reggie and Melinda; two daughters and sons-in-law, Zelinda and Donnie, and Debbie and Warren; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Lynville and Margaret; her step-mother, Mildred JOHNSON; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Tom POINDEXTER, 76, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw by the family. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. POINDEXTER was born July 31, 1925, in Bibbs, to Jim POINDEXTER and  Pearl (WORLEY) POINDEXTER. He died Thursday, July 25, 2002, in Sallisaw. He married Emma Jean JORDAN in 1949 in Stilwell. She preceded him in death on Oct. 18, 1987. Survivors include four daughters, Verna Lee, Pam, Shelly and Kelly; three sons, Joel, Perry Leon and Eldon Ray; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald and Ben; and two sisters, Maggie and Wilma June.

Funeral services for Richard Coker POWELL, 77, of Horseshoe Beach, Fla., formerly of Muldrow, were  held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2002, at Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chapel in Cross City, Fla., with the Revs. James Butler, Sammy corbin and Eric Randall officiating. Burial was in Butler Cemetery in Horseshoe Beach under the direction of Rick Gooding Funeral Home in Cross City. Mr. POWELL was born Nov. 4, 1924, in Muldrow to Leonard and Ruth POWELL. He died Wednesday, July 24, 2002. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Fran POWELL of Horseshoe Beach; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and his wife Marian; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon, Tina and her husband Steve and Andrea and her husband Paul; three brothers, Robert, Gene and John; six sisters, Lily and Pat, Floy, Toinette, Sue and Faye; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Dennis POWELL and one sister, Vivian PFLIGER.

Funeral services for Glen SHAW, 59, of Spiro, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Harvest Hill Assembly of God in Spiro, with the Rev. Andrew Jones officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. SHAW was born May 19, 1943, in Spiro to Thomas Franklin SHAW and Dorothy (ROWAN) SHAW. He died Saturday, July 27, 2002, in Fort Smith, Ark. He married Loretta BREASHERS. Survivors include his wife, Loretta "Rita" SHAW of the home; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Saba, Darlynn and her husband Greg, Elisa and her husband Brian, and Michelle and her husband Virgil; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randall, Damon and his wife Tammy, and Michael Shane and his wife Shawnee; nine grandchildren; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and his wife Ruby, Leon and his wife Pat, and George and his wife Brenda. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lucretia LONG.

Funeral services for Louise BALL, 74, of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Burial is in Mt McCurry Cemetery, near Rudy, Ark., under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Mrs. BALL died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, in a local hospital. She married B.C. BALL on Nov. 24, 1945, in the Kibler United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2002. Survivors include four daughters, Anita, Debbie, Beverly and Teresa ; five sons, Jack, Ken and Bill, Wes and Eddie; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jack and Jerry.

Funeral services for Maggie Faye BILYEU, 70, of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at the Landmark Holiness Church in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Johnny Watkins officiating. Burial is in Seabolt Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. BILYEU was born Aug. 31, 1931, in Bunch, to Tom RIGGS  and Florida (LONG) RIGGS. She died Thursday, August 1, 2002, in Vian. She married Bennie Wayne BILYEU on May 10,1 949, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include her husband, Bennie of the home; three daughters, Deloris and Dorothy, and Ladonna; two sons, John and Norvan; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ralph. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bennie Wayne and Bobby Ray BILYEU; one great-grandson, Benjamin THOMPSON.

Floyd YANDELL, 72, of Sallisaw, died Sunday, July 28, 2002, in Sallisaw. Cremains will be buried in U.S. National Cemetery, in Springfield, Mo., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. YANDELL was born Oct. 10, 1929, in Branson, Mo. to James YANDELL and Rena (ROWE) YANDELL. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth; one son, Timothy; 6 grandsons; 3 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy; and two brothers, Arnold and James Huland.

Funeral services for Julia Mae CORRELL, 92, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Rev. Jason Helmbacher officiating. Burial  was in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CORRELL was born Dec. 29, 1909, in Sallisaw to Robert G. PORTER and Annie (CARRIKER) PORTER. She died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Perry CORRELL on July 2, 1945, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1990. Survivors include her niece who she raised, Betty and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services for Bula May FARIES, 75, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 11 a.m., Friday, at  the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Mrs. FARIES died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, in Fort Smith. Survivors include one daughter, Pat; three sons, Bob, David and Bill; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Martha  and Wanda.

Funeral services for Judy FRAZIER, 44, of Spiro, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Mallory Chapel in Spiro, with Rev. Johnny Overton officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. Mrs. FRAZIER was born Sept. 23, 1957, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Darrell STAMPS and Frances (WILKINS) STAMPS.  She died Friday, Aug. 2, in Spiro. She married Jerry FRAZIER. Survivors include her husband, Jerry of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Miranda and her husband Ronald; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn; her parents, Darrell and Frances; two sisters, Terry and Tammy; one brother, Stephen; and five nieces. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Thelma WILKINS.

Funeral services for Charles Loyd HACKER, 70, of Skiatook, formerly of Sallisaw, were held Friday, Aug. 2,  at Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso, with the Rev. Jim Stratton officiating. Burial was in Osage Gardens in Skiatook, under the direction of Mowery Funeral Services in Owasso. Mr. HACKER was born Jan. 30, 1932, in Minco, Okla. to Benjamin Franklin and  Rose Lee (MITCHUM) HACKER. He died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, in his home. He married Bonnie LONG on April 7, 1956, in Tahlequah. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Dale  and his wife, Kris; one daughter and son-in-law, Durenda Jo and her husband David; five grandchildren; one brother, William; and two brother-in-law, Thomas and Carl.

Funeral services for Pearl May HARVELL, 97, of Muldrow were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Eastside Freewill Baptist church in Muldrow, with Revs. Bill Adcock and Anthony Williams officiating. Burial was in Upper Camp Creek Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. HARVELL was born Jan. 11, 1905, in Ole Remy,  Okla., to Joseph Edgar RUCKMAN and Mattie Leona (PREWETT) RUCKMAN. She died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, in Muldrow. She married Horace A. HARVELL on Dec. 22, 1919, in Liberty. He preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 1972. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma and Paul, Ethylee and Charles, Charlene and Paul, and Juanell; one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Louise; one daughter-in-law, Odell; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Norman; She was also preceded in death by one son, Delmar Bee HARVELL.

Funeral services for Tommy HOPPER, 55, of Spiro, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, at Mallory Chapel in Spiro, with Rev. John Earnhart officiating. Burial was in Old Cache Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. HOPPER  was born Sept. 1, 1946, in Bokoshe, to Russell Floyd HOPPER and Gladys Mae (HAMILTON) HOPPER. He died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, in Bokoshe. He was a mechanic. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, David HOPPER and his wife Ellen of Gans. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The infant son of Todd and Tami (DINSMORE) MARTIN was born Aug. 5, 2002, in Tulsa. He died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, in Tulsa. Survivors include his parents, Todd and Tami MARTIN of the home; maternal grandparents, Pete and Sherry DINSMORE; paternal grandparents, Doug and Kathy MARTIN; maternal great-grandfather, Ernest GRIMES; paternal great-grandparents, Marvin and Eula MARTIN; paternal great-grandfather, Loyd MUNN; two uncles, Chad and his wife Christy, and Blake; one aunt, Stephanie and her husband Conley; and three cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Ellen GRIMES; maternal great-grandparents, Edna and H.A. DINSMORE; and paternal great-grandmother, Edith MUNN. 

Graveside services for Homer G. McWILLIAMS, 67, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Rocky Point Cemetery, north of Sallisaw, with Rev. Bernice Ramey officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. McWILLIAMS was born June 2, 1935, in Millington, Tenn., to Daniel Spurgeon McWILLIAMS and Gracie Lee (JOHNSON) McWILLIAMS. He died Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, in Sallisaw.  He married June GREEN in Aug 1990 in Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife, June of the home; two daughter, Debbie and Crystal; five sons, Mark and Homer, Steve, Kelly and Travis; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Sue, and Helen and Norma Faye; and several nieces nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Daniel Elton NANCE Sr., of Muldrow, will be held at 11 a.m., Aug. 10, 2002, Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. NANCE was born April 15, 1915, in Van Buren, Ark., to Kersey NANCE and Amelia (RUCKS) NANCE. He died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, in Sallisaw. He married Dovie McCLAIN. Survivors include his wife, Dovie NANCE of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Edna Mae and her husband Johnny; one son and daughter-in-law, Waymon and his wife Minnie Louise; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Ocie, Margaret and Cecil. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Necola NANCE; and one sister, Nanett BROCKINGTON.

Burial is in Tamaha Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler. Mr. JOHNSON was born April 6, 1923, in Tamaha, Okla. to Van JOHNSON and Ida (BRIMAGE) JOHNSON. He died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, in Roland. Survivors include two daughters, Cathy and Marilyn; one son, Danny; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Roxie.

Graveside services for Maud ROSS RISLEY, 88, of Vian, were held at 11 a.m., Friday, at Box Cemetery, north of Vian, with Rev. Alan McBride officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. RISLEY was born April 6, 1914, in Cookson to Joseph ROSS and Maletha (THORNTON) ROSS. She died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, in Vian. She married Clifton Willis RISLEY on Dec. 29, 1934, in Cookson. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1988. Survivors include three daughters, Alice, Allene and Shirley; four sons, Donald, Carmel, Norman and Robert; 29 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Merle. She was also preceded in death by one son, Roy RISLEY; one grandson, Joyle Lee RISLEY; and one granddaughter, Janice LAYMON.

Funeral services for Lawrence D. "L.D." SPRINGWATER, 83, of Gans, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, at First Assembly of God church in Gans, with Rev. Charles Sparkman and Harold McKeehen officiating. Burial was in Gans Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SPRINGWATER was born Nov. 23, 1918, in Gans to Henry SPRINGWATER and Jesse (RHOADS) SPRINGWATER. He died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, in Gore. He married Katie Ruth ROGERS on May 25, 1939, in Gans. Survivors include his wife, Katie SPRINGWATER of the home; four daughters, Peggy, Carolyn, Janice and Pansy; three sons, Randy, Gary and Teddy; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel and Edith; and two brothers, Henry Jr. and Bud. He was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Wayne SPRINGWATER on July 3, 2002, and Cletus D. on July 14, 1988, one daughter, Debra Jo on Sept. 21, 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy CRUISE of the home; six daughters, Sue, Bobbie, Samantha, Donnita,  Jean, Loretta, Jean and Loretta; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Tony and Tommy.

Funeral services for Juanita Louise DAVIS, 77, of Sallisaw, were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Rev. Brian Zinck officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. DAVIS was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Cherokee County to Millard RHOADES and Marie (CAYWOOD) RHOADES. She died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, in Greenwood, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Charlene; two sons, Cal and Matt; five grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; four sisters, Alene, Catherine, Christine and Doris; two brothers, Ray and Bill; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin WHITEKILLER, and her second husband, J.B. DAVIS.

Funeral services for Lesli Renee DREW, 42, of Tulsa, formerly of Vian, were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Tulsa, with Rev. M.L. Bailey officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. DREW was born July 7, 1960, in Amarillo, Texas to Virgil WILLIAMS and Auddria (COLBERT) WILLIAMS.  She died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, in Tulsa. Survivors include one daughter, Renee; three sons,  Kenneth Neal, Anthony Maurice Jr., Edward Leodis; her father, Virgil D. WILLIAMS; two brothers, Ronald and Carlton; and one sister, Sheila. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Maurice DREW Sr.; her mother and father-in-law, Grover and Alma Lee DREW.

Wilma COLCLOUGH JOHNSTON, 84, of Sallisaw, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, in Sallisaw. No services will be held at the request of the late Ms. JOHNSTON. Burial will be in Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Ms. JOHNSTON was born June 17, 1918, in Sallisaw to John Smith COLCLOUGH and Louisa (DUVALL) COLCLOUGH. Survivors include her niece, Ruth and dear friend, Carrie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert JOHNSTON.

Burial was in Lowes Creek Cemetery in Cecil, Ark. under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. JONES died Thursday , Aug. 8, in a local hospital. Survivors include her husband, George of the home; one daughter, Roberta Lynn; one son, Danny; four grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Patsy Ann; three stepsons, Michael A., Steven E. and Danny Wayne; her mother, Ethel Mae HARMON; and one sister, Virginia Ann.

Funeral services for Cornelia Mae KIRK, 82, of Broken Arrow, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, at First Baptist Church in Muldrow, with Revs. David L. Jones and Tim Ohls officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. KIRK was born Jan. 6, 1920, in Muldrow to Everett MIZE and Birtie Bell (COLE) MIZE. She died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, in Broken Arrow. She married Robinson A. "R.A." KIRK on June 21, 1941, in Sallisaw. Survivors include her husband, R.A. KIRK of the home; one daughter  and son-in-law, Zondra and Lynn; one son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Linda; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charley. Former Sallisaw resident Shirleen Louise MABE, 67,  died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, in Tulsa. She was born on Nov. 30, 1934, to Manford CLEVENGER and Nora Pearl (HINES) CLEVENGER LANDY in Mounds, Okla. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy L. MABE; and one son, Danny POTTER..  She is survived by one son, Tim; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Maurice V. CREECH,  91, formerly of Sallisaw, requested his cremains be interred in Hutchinson, Kan. Mr. CREECH was born Oct. 28, 1911. He died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, in Lakewood, Colo. He married Roberta BOHANNON COLEMAN on March 25, 1960. She preceded him in death in September 2001. Mr. SHOFNER was born Dec. 2, 1926, to Charley SHOFNER and Willard (PLANK) SHOFNER, in Redland. he died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, in Muldrow. Mr. SHOFNER married Almeda REESE in 1954 in Yuma, Ariz. She preceded him in death on Jan. 28, 1998. Survivors include two sons, Jack and Jeff; one step-son, Jennings; one step-daughter, Debbie; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five sisters, Emma, Edith, Betty, Jane Kay, and Jennie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. CLARK (SHOFNER) was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Dale SHOFNER and Bud KING.

Funeral services for Dick SPECK, 72, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at McKey Baptist Church, with the Rev. Curtis Bias officiating. Burial was in Summerfield Cemetery, in Summerfield under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. SPECK was born Feb. 21, 1930, to Jack L. SPECK and Verna Belle (SPENCER) SPECK in Vian. He died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, in Sallisaw. Mr. SPECK married Wanda Sue BLANKENSHIP on Feb. 23, 1957, in Holsum Valley. Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of the home; one daughter, Renee; one grandson; four sisters, Evelyn, Billie, Bobbie, and Margie; one brother, Tom; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Mr. SPECK was preceded in death by one sister, Gladys SPECK.

Wilma Deana STUART, of Gore died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002. At her request, no services will be held. She will be cremated and place next to her husband at Ft Gibson National Cemetery. She was an artist and a member of the muskogee Art Guild. She was married to Delbert E. STUART for sixty years. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2000. Survivors include one daughter, Diane; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ida mae (CLOUD) TATUM, 62, of La Porte, Texas, were held at 10 a.m., Aug. 19, at St. Pius v. Catholic Church in Pasadena, Texas, with the Rev. Rivers Patout officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas, under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Pasadena. Mrs. TATUM was born Nov. 5, 1939, in Austin, Texas, under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Pasadena. Mrs. TATUM was born Nov. 5, 1939, in Austin, Texas, to Robert Cecil "Buster" CLOUD, and Mary Ann (BROWN) BRIGGS. She died Friday, Aug. 16, 2002, in Austin. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Richard E. TATUM; two daughters, Ruth Ann and Mary E.; one son and daughter-in-law, James G. and Carol; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one aunt, Catherine; two  cousins, both of Austin; three stepdaughters, Mollie, Leslie and Lisa; and other loving in-laws, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Laura VANN, 95, of Muldrow, will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, at Agent Chapel in Muldrow. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, in Roland, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. VANN was born June 16, 1907, in Sequoyah County, Indian Territory to Nathaniel WILLIAMS  and Nancy (SYKES) WILLIAMS. She died Friday, Aug. 25, 2002, in Muldrow. She married Frank VANN in 1959, in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1970. Survivors include five daughters, Juanita, Dorothene, Sharon, Frankie Mae and Mary Jane; three sons, Berlin, Charles Sr., and Nathaniel; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
