Graveside services for Glen BURROW, 53, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, with the Rev. Roger McDougal officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. BURROW was born Feb. 26, 1956, in Tulsa, to Hubert BURROW and Carol Dorothene (HARRELL) BURROW. He died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Tulsa. Survivors include two daughters, Tiara Paige and Kady ; one son, David Wayn; three step-children, Rain, Monica and Jennifer; four grandchildren; parents, Dorothene and Robert NYSVEEN; two sisters, LaDonna and Connie; one brother, Larry; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Dawn M. DAVIS, 49, of Gore, were held Friday at Serenity Funerals and Crematory Chapel in Tulsa, under the direction of Serenity Funerals and Crematory of Tulsa. Mrs. DAVIS was born March 23, 1960, in Saginaw, Mich., to Robert L. HUMMEL Sr. and Eleanor HUMMEL. She died Saturday, July 25, 2009, in Tulsa. Survivors include her husband, Alan DAVIS of Gore; daughter, Crystal and son, A.J.; mother, Eleanor HUMMEL and Duke KEMERER; sister, Sandy and Mike; brother, Robert and Lonna; and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services for Mary Jean TREAT WILLIAMS, 81, of Muldrow, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with the Revs. Tommy Treat and Bobby Mason Sr. officiating. Burial is in Muldrow Memory Garden, in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. WILLIAMS was born July 6, 1928, in Muldrow, to Dewey TREAT and Myrtle (McKINNEY) TREAT. She died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married James C. WILLIAMS, June 12, 1959, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death, Sept. 4, 2007. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Darin; one sister, Maxine; one brother, Jack; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Ed COPELAND, 85, of Bunch, Okla., died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, in Fort Smith. He was born July 31, 1924, in the Copeland community in Oklahoma. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Agent Funeral Home Chapel in Sallisaw with burial at Marble City Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Edith; six daughters, Freda, Darlene, Rhonda, Marilyn, Sue, and Sandra; three sons, Gene, Mark and Bobby; two sisters, Ida, and Bertha; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Warren COPELAND, 81, of Sand Springs, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs. Mr. COPELAND was born April 23, 1928, in Sequoyah County, Indian Territory, in the community of Brent, to T.E. and Dora COPELAND. He died Thursday, July 30, 2009. Survivors include one son, Gary; daughters, Phyllis, Trisha, Traci and her husband, Kevin;eight grandchildren;eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred and Grace; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 64 years, Elsie COPELAND, sisters, Lenora FARGO and Nadine FOREMAN and son-in-law, Paul PERRY.

Funeral services for Charles Roy FINE, 84, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Akins Baptist Church in Sallisaw with the Rev. Vernon Smith officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. FINE was born June 17, 1925, in Sloans Chapel, to William FINE and Flora Daisy (CHEEK) FINE. He died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, in Sallisaw. He married Maggie Lou HILL, April 5, 1945, in Antioch, Calif. She preceded him in death, June 12, 1983, in Sallisaw. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Harold, Charity and Jerry, and Barbara and Tommy; one son, Roy; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys, Mable and Mary Hope; one brother, Billy; special friend, Doris; and several other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Jerry Max RICHARDSON, three sisters, Joyce PRICE, India FINE and Madge CHUCULATE and four brothers, Noel, Joel, Dale and Jack FINE.

Funeral services for Raymond Durant GREENWOOD Sr., of Tulsa, formerly of Keota, 68, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro with the Rev. Tommie Parker officiating. Burial was in Keota City Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Mr. GREENWOOD was born April 10, 1941, in Keota, to Eston R. GREENWOOD and Beulah Belle (CROOM) GREENWOOD. He died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter, Jana and her husband, Kelly; one son, Durant and his wife, Elizabeth; six sisters, Rosa Lee, Patrician, Jessie, Sybil, Shirley, and Cheryl; one step-sister, Virginia; two brothers, Richard and Charles; one step-brother, Harold; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Glenda Louise HUFFMAN, 66, of Sallisaw, died on Thursday, July 30, 2009, in Little Rock, Ark. No formal service is planned and cremation is under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. HUFFMAN was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Tulare, Calif., to William Wesley SNOW and Vivian Lucille (ALLEN) SNOW.   He married John E. HUFFMAN, Nov. 28, 1959, in Califonia. Survivors include her husband, John of the home; two daughters, Deborah A. and Sandra K.; one son, John E. II; one sister, Vivian; one brother, Thomas; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters.

She died Friday, July 31, 2009, in Tulsa. She married William “Billy” JAMES, Aug. 14, 2004, in Broken Arrow. Survivors include her parents; husband, Billy JAMES; son, Mason Nasharo; brother, David; grandparents, Karen and Cecil CHAMBERS, and Bob and Brenda MAXEY; and great-grandmothers, Stella MAXEY, and Pauline COUGHRAN.

Funeral services for DeKota William LEWIS, 17, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fellowship Christian in Muldrow with the Rev. Alton Barnes officiating. A second memorial service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at Rattan Gymnasium in Rattan Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mr. LEWIS was born Feb. 20, 1992, in Lawton, to Cindy LeAnne Lewis LEDFORD. He died Thursday, July 30, 2009, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his mother, Cindy LEDFORD; one sister, Sarah; three step-sisters, Brooke, Kimber and Brianna; three step-brothers, Corey, Trent and Kyle; step-father, Cory WILLIAMS; grandparents, Larry and Rita LEWIS, and Connie Ledford HARRIS and Max LEDFORD. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Gary LEDFORD.

Mrs. MATTOX was born March 8, 1960, in Sallisaw, to Henry “Hank” GAY and Betty Ann (MATTHEWS) GAY. She died Friday, July 31, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Larry; one son, Dallas; one grandson; one brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Pam; one niece and one nephew; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Coleta J. MILLER, 88, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sallisaw with Pastor George Ellis officiating. Burial was in Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. MILLER was born Nov. 3, 1920, in Akins, to Bonnie Ann STEWART. She died Thursday, July 30, 2009, in Sallisaw. . She married Noah Don MILLER, April 17, 1937, in Akins. He preceded her in death, Nov. 5, 1972 in Sallisaw. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Renai and Steve, Shirley June and Roger, Bonnie Sue and Jim, and Shery Diane and Rick; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Don L., and Charles Gaylon and Lena; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dortha Nell MILLER and her parents.

Burial is in the Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. NOWLIN was born Jan. 18, 1931, in Tahlequah, to Len A. CARRINGTON and Nancy Elizabeth (FAREL) CARRINGTON. She died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, in Muskogee. She married Phillip Edward “Phil” NOWLIN, May 25, 1950, in Muskogee. He preceded her in death, March 4, 2008 in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Mark; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dr. Bob and his wife, Mary M., and Bill; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; three great-granddaughters; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister, Fern FARRELL.

Survivors include one son, Brian; mother and step-father, Debra and Neal REMER; step-mother, Delores HAWK; grandmother, Nina PRUITT; two sisters, Michelle and Stephanie Lynn; one brother, Christopher Dan; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Burial was in Drake Stand Cemetery, west of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. REAL was born Sept. 18, 1955, in Sallisaw, to Silas Eugene REAL and Alene (GARDENHIRE) REAL. He died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, in Tulsa. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Stephen; two grandchildren; parents; three brothers, Micheal, Gordon and Jeff; two sisters, Lori and Valerie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Pat REAL.

Burial was in the Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. ROGERS was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Scranton, Ark., to Autry DAVIS and Marie (WHITBY) DAVIS. She died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, in Sallisaw. She married Elton Wayne ROGERS, Dec. 4, 1952, in Muldrow. Survivors include her husband, Elton, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Cindy; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bill; one granddaughter; five step-grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Joe, Glenda and Duke, and Vinita and J.R.; and one brother, Gene Autry. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Wilma Jean and Shirley.

Mr. CHOATE was born April 3, 1935, in Marble City, to James Anderson CHOATE and Flora Bell (HARVEY) CHOATE. He died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, in Vian. He married Avis Marie GARDNER, Nov. 1, 1957, in Highland, Calif. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Avis of the home; one daughter, Debra; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Sherri; three sisters, Linda, Benice and Mozelle; two brothers, Jackie and Bill; five grandchildren and spouses; six great-grandchildren; and special friend, Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Freda CUPP, two brothers, James “Buck” CHOATE and Raymond CHOATE, one granddaughter, Jessica CHOATE and one great-granddaughter, Lexie Rae MOORE.

She died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, in Vian. She married Lon Alan PACK, July 2, 1932. He preceded her in death, Dec. 17, 1993. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Neal Alan and Doris; one son-in-law, William M.; four grandchildren and their spouses; 14 great-grandchildren and their spouses; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, students and family and friends. Jim Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Box Cemetery, north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. WRIGHT was born Dec. 5, 1919, in Vian, to William P. ROGERS and Bessie Maude (RITTER) ROGERS. She died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, in Vian. She married Robert H. WRIGHT, Nov. 19, 1938, in Blackgum. He preceded her in death, June 24, 2000 in Sallisaw. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Pat and Lois and Joe; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandsons; two sisters, Lois and Nina; and one brother, John E. He died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, in Gore. Survivors include his children, Rocky, Clara Jean, Maschell; two sisters, Mary and Anna Sue; brother, Edward; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Arthur and Herman and two sisters, Aletha and Ruby.

Mrs. HOGAN was born Oct. 10, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Fred Callahan HARDIN and Doris Jean (GOSSETT) HARDIN. She died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, in Vian. Survivors include one daughter, Becky; two sons, Phillip Jr. and Benjamin; four grandchildren; father; two sisters, Patricia and Janet; one brother, Bob; one great-uncle, Fred; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Survivors include two sons, Kirk and Cole; two sisters, Faye and Sue; two brothers, Wendell and Carl; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other realtives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Patsy MOUSER and one brother, James NORRID.

She died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, in Okmulgee. She married Olan McELHANNON, Nov. 14, 1942, in Okmulgee. Survivors include her sons, John W., and Olan Jr. and his wife, Judy; sisters, Francis and her husband, Johnny, and Jerri Kadd; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, in Gore. He married Kathryn STRONG, Nov. 24, 1982, in Seymour, Mo. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn of the home; three sons, Justin, Jeremy and Andrew; father; two sisters, Judy and Bonnie; three brothers, Glen, Lewis and John; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

She died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, in Springdale, Ark. She married Louis Covington PAGE, June 19, 1926, in Muskogee. He preceded her in death, Feb. 6, 1987. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia; two sons, Louis Jr. and David; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Davis was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Holdenville, to Joseph Kelly Simmons and Lilly Pearl (Pack) Simmons. She died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, in Sallisaw. She married V. Freman Davis, March 28, 1948, in Anadarko. Mrs. GLOVER was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Tipton, to Riley HOWARD and Florence PURCELL. She died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, in Sallisaw. She married Dankie Darrell GLOVER, March 13, 1960, in Lawton. Survivors include her husband, Dankie of the home; three daughters and one son-in-law, Carolyn and Gary, and Becky, and Crystal; five sons and daughters-in-law, Lance and Brenda, David and Saundra, Ben and Ginger, Glen and Teresa, and Waylon and Cindy; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Bennie Daryl GLOVER, her parents and five brothers, Leslie, Stanley, Johnny, Hershel and Joe Allen HOWARD.

Annetta KELLEY, 62, of Muldrow, OK joined her precious daughter, Nina WALTERS, in Heaven Wednesday, August 26, 2009. She was born Annetta Sue NOLAND in Ada, OK to Ralph and Alvie NOLAND on Sept 22, 1948. She leaves her loving husband of forty-one years James, brother Charles and wife Diana, sisters Retha, Alice and Linda. She is preceded in death by brother Dewey NOLAND. She is survived by sons Sean and wife Julie,  and Donald and girlfriend Kim; as well as four grandchildren. Annetta also leaves son-in-law Mike, his wife Lana and son. A daughter-in-law Roanetta and sever nieces and nephews. Special friends Laura and Marilyn and family, Jimmy and Lucy and high school pals and lifelong friends Mary, Mary and Gayle will also miss Annetta, as well as Lizzie and Mo-Jo. In accordance with her wishes, no service is planned locally but she will make a final trip with her family to the Cane River in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Burial was in Maple Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. RHODES was born Nov. 6, 1952, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Harold RHODES and Hazel (PENDERGRASS) RHODES. He died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Lena; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynell and Derek; one grandchild; mother, Hazel CLOUGH; three brothers, Joe, Tom and Mike; companion, Fran; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
