WILLIAM BLACKWELL"
The body of William Dudley Blackwell, 28-year old son of Sam Blackwell,
well known Miami Contractor, arrived in Miami today for funeral
services at the Miami Baptist Church this afternoon. Mr Blackwell died
Saturday night at an Oklahoma City Hospital. Burial was at G.A.R.
Cemetery. Mr Blackwell is survived by his
wife, Mrs. Leona Blackwell, three sons, Billy, Bobby and Wally, his
parents, Mr and Mrs. Sam Blackwell and six brothers and one sister. The
Rev Billie Bain of Picher delivered the sermon at the funeral.
The Cooper Undertaking Company was in charge.

William Dudley Blackwell is the
grandson of Elbert Blackwell and Rebecca Jane Newberry. This family
originally from Maries Co, MO.
