River Victim To Be Buried Today

Pawhuska, June 24 - (Special) - Funeral services will be held here Friday for Johnny Walker, 22 year old Pawhuska youth, drowned while seeking relief from the heat in the Caney river about 35 miles north of here.

Walker and three companions, all working in the harvest fields, went swimming shortly after eating. Walker apparently suffered cramps and went down without an outcry. His companions said they did not miss him until they started dressing. The body was recovered four hours later.
