C. H. Codding and family drove to Arizona last week to be gone a
few days.
Miss Gladys Perryman spent the week end with her parents.
Otis Baker is seriously ill at this writing with pneumonia.
Miss Marguerite Barham is visiting relatives and friends here this
week.
J. K. Codding was in Pawhuska today where he transacted business.
Mrs. Victor Conner is ill and unable to teach this week. Mrs. Ferne
Dial is teaching for her.
Mrs. Jack Tomlin and children are spending the week at the A. H.
Tomlin home.
Mrs. Everette Kerns is on the sick list at this writing.
Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Swinney announce the birth of a fine boy on Saturday,
January 16th.
Mrs. A. S. Perryman who has been ill for some time is able to be
up again.
Jack Tomlin and Mr. Vest of the Skelly Oil Company are in Wichita
this week attending the Rumley Tractor school.
Mr. F. S. Seward is in Marshall, Mo., this week on a business trip.
Little Betty Jo Hooks and Lorraine Smith are under the doctor's
care this week.
The result of the basket ball games at Pershing were: Girls, Foraker
1-Pershing 30. Boys, Foraker 6-Pershing 4. Fine sportsmanship was
displayed in both games. Ralston and Foraker will play a double
header at Foraker this evening.
The Shidler town team came to Foraker and played the Foraker town
team a game of basket ball Wednesday evening in which Shidler won
over Foraker 22-14. Both teams contained varsity players which made
a fast and interesting game.
Mrs. O. N. Ericksten and children returned last week from Missouri,
where they have been visiting relatives of Mr. Ericksten.
Mrs. Pepperel of Tulsa spent the week end with Mrs. Lavonia Inman.
Ralston High school comes to Foraker Friday evening for a "double-header"
basket ball game.
