FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR J.P. THOMAS

Funeral services for J. P. Thomas, well known Pawhuska resident, were held at the Johnson Chapel this afternoon.

Thomas passed away Sunday at his home here after a brief illness.

The services were conducted by the Rev. J. H. Cooprider of the Methodist Church. Mrs. C. H. Brooks sang "The old rugged cross" and "Abide with me".  Frank Miller sang "Safe in the arms of Jesus",  Fanniebelle Perrill was accompanist.

The Masonic lodge conducted rites at the cemetery.  Pallbearers were Orton Taylor, W. T. Williams, A. C. Coutchure, O.L. Taylor, J. M. Neelly and Charles Robinson.
