gullett3.jpg This is Belle Forrest Sumpter Gullett widow of James William Gullett and it was her scrapbook that the obits came from. I have pics that are older of her also.

gullett5.jpg

The little girl on the far right, in the light dress was my red-headed mother-in-law, Ellena Faris Gullett Grimes, born 1917, Moore, Okla. and she graduated in 1936 from Pawhuska High School. She died in 2002 on her poppa's birthday. She married Mark E. Grimes in Pawhuska on 14 dec 1939 and they were married 61 years until his death in 2000.

Her momma was Belle Sumpter and her poppa was Jim Gullett.
These kids are all siblings or cousins to each other. The little girl in the cotton sunbonnet is Delva Madeline Gullett Ogan, one of only two girls in the family of 5. The little boy third from right is Caroll James Gullett, a survivor of WWII and the other two boys are not pictured.

The Gulletts farmed in Moore, in Pawhuska, and in Hominy.
