Funeral services for Bennie “Sonny” Anderson will be held Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Nuyaka Baptist Church northeast of Okemah. Interment will follow at the Nuyaka Cemetery. Bennie “Sonny” Anderson was born September 29, 1937 in Castle, Oklahoma to Butler and Louisa (Fish) Anderson. He passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 in Okemah at the age of 74. Serving as active pallbearer will be: Ernest McPerryman, James Hicks, Oscar Hicks, Bobby Dearman, Roy Larney and Jason Smith. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah. Viewing and visitation will be Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
