Buffalo Cemetery

Hughes County, Oklahoma

This cemetery is located near the old Buffalo School. From the intersection of Highway 75 and Highway 270, at Calvin, Oklahoma, go east on 270, four miles. Turn on 141 Road, gravel road and continue for 6.5 miles. You will cross five cattle guards. You will come to a sign that says "Road Closed", and the cemetery sign will be right next to this gate. The cemetery is setting just to the right and is fenced. The cemetery hasn't been used in some time and is not kept.

David STEPHENS and Vickie NEILL TAYLOR recorded this cemetery on July 7, 2004. Some graves were hard to find due to the heavy grass and weeds.
