Born June 4, 1844 in Ripley, Mississippi

Died November 21, 1921 east of Wynnewood

Christopher W. Sparks is buried in Palmer Cemetery in Murray County, Oklahoma

He came to Indian Territory in 1901 and lived at Iona, east of Wynnewood, in 1915 when he applied for his pension.  At the time of his death he is listed as living 6 1/2 miles east of Wynnewood

He enlisted April 30, 1861
