Company D, 45th Tennessee Infantry

Born August 24, 1837 in North Carolina

Died November 29, 1921 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma

William Ray is buried in Lewis Cemetery, northeast of Wynnewood and does have a military marker

He married Minerva Elizabeth Dennis on September 30, 1860 in Lincoln County, Tennessee.  She was born in 1839 in Tennessee

They were in Haywood County, Tennessee in 1871, in Limestone County, Texas in 1900 and in 1910 they were in Navarro County, Texas
