Hia wife, Mary E. McKiney is buried at Oaklawn Cemetery.  She was born July 17, 1842 and passed February 24, 1909.  Her tombstone sits near the front fence and reads "Wife of R.F."

Family shows the same rank and unit as listed above but his application for the Cross of Honor lists him as Private, Co. H, 8th Arkansas Infantry
